Quick freeway access. I needed fuel and my car needed a wash, so this was easy. The one thing the prompted me to write a gas station review, was the staff. I fueling my car. And the customer in front of me was having some difficultly. The staff member came out; all masked up, and gloves up. Damn... what a shame, I live around the corner from this place so it's easy to just stop by and get their cold delicious beer like I do 3 -4 times a week because their beer is super cold ...... It was a long day at work ... I decided to get a beer at this locating i reached out to the beer 3rd to last, with out thinking I moved one of the beer to the side so I don't break it, I get to the counter and a short Mexican with an attitude at the counter grabbed my beer and told me he can't sell it to me until I out the other beer back.... I was thrown off... but whatever .. as I attempted to put it back it slipped from my hand and dropped to the ground ... he decided to tell me I could no but any beers from there because after I was force to move the beer back as he requested I dropped it. I apologized and told him I could pay for it but he didn't want to hear it. He follows me to my caranda takes pictures of my car license plate and me. I went back to ask for a managers number and he decided to call the police over a beer I told him I could pay... at this point I'm frustrated .. and take the paper where I assume that the corporate information is at and left. As I'm looking at the paper I see is not the corporate number, the paper that I hold was information about his tilt and gas pumps. The lady working the counter has the worse attitude and customer service. I came in to cash a lotto ticket that was all of $40, she hands me all $5 without even stating that was all she had. I asked her why was she giving me all $5, she tells a bold face lie that it was all she had as I am looking at $10, and $20 in her drawer. I stopped in to go to the bathroom because I was going home from seeing family up in Hemet and the lady working was completely rude! I was also going to buy something to eat and drink here but she changed my mind really quick with her snide little attitude about using the bathroom. Easy to get in and out of. Prices are reasonable and drinks are only 99 cents for any size!

This Chevron used to be my favorite spot but it turns out they don't even have receipt paper to print receipts at the pump and 2- my credit card has been compromised twice at the pumps here. Be careful and please if the owner is reading this-- please get receipt paper for the pumps and please take care to check the credit card machines at the pump to ensure there isn't foul play happening. This gas station has a somewhat good location. It's located right off the Via Rancho Parkway exit. The bad thing for this gas station is it is the second gas station and it's right next to Shell. The prices are comparable to Shell. So it usually depends on which gas station is less busy and which is cheaper that day. It's usually the same price but sometimes one gas station drops their prices lower first. Then I'll go to that one. It has a little mini mart in the center to buy some snacks and drinks if you need anything. Great location and decent gas prices. read more

This location is a little tight and old. There's only 8 pumps and if the person in front of you is still pumping, then you either have to back up or just wait until they're finished. There's a convenience store that has everything you need. If you're in a hurry, then you can go to Shell next door or to the Shell just another block away. On Monday, December 30, 2019 between the hours of 1200 and 1300 hours, I stopped at the Chevron gas station next to the shell station across from the mall to get gas and use the restroom. I went in to use the bathroom before I bought some gas, I ask for the combination for the door and the Hispanic lady behind the counter told me that the code is on the bottom of the receipt informing me that I had to purchase something before I used the bathroom. So, I got a drink and went to the counter to pay for it. The lady took her time getting off the step ladder and was playing around with a palm computer again taking her time before she rung up my drink. I made the comment that she was taking her time while I had to go to the restroom. I told her to let me pay for this drink, all of a sudden she snatched up my drink and told me that she was not going to sell me anything. I looked at her as she took my fountain drink to the sink as if she was going to pour it out. I shook my head in disbelief and then walked out. She was the most rudest person that I had ever met. I strongly encourage folks to go else where to buy their gas, no one needs to be treated the way I was treated. The Hispanic female has an attitude and has no people skills. I will be sending a letter to the Department of Consumer affairs questioning their tactics on making people buy items before they can use the restroom. read more

Why would you have an employee leave for lunch at 515 pm when the gas station is on the way home for half of Escondido. I have ran into this issue at this location a half dozen times in the past year. They close the convent store for a half hour in its busiest time of day. read more
