Last two times I have bought shrimp they shorted me. What you see in the show case is not what you get. I wanted jumbo's. When they go into the back and bag it they mix in smaller shrimp. The first time I thought it was a mistake, the second time I learned my lesson. Not until you get home you notice how many they have mixed in. read more

Wow!! Based on a recommendation from a family member, my husband and I made a stop on our way back to Florida from GA. All I can say is, this place is a must visit if you are a seafood lover. Stopped in on our way back to our AirB&B to pick up some shrimp and check out the selection of fresh fish. It was near closing time, so we weren't sure what we'd find, but rolled the dice and weren't disappointed... Coming from Ohio, cooking fish on the grill isn't something we do every day, so we asked the expert... Not only did Della (hope I spelled that right) reassure us about how easy it would be, she gave us some suggestions to spice up the beautiful grouper fillet that we decided on. As she weighed and packed everything up for us, we got to chatting, and almost didn't want to leave. Olive Garden may have claimed the "when you're here, you're family" slogan, but Della has them beat any day... I stopped by one day by a recommendation of a friend and I purchased a very nice sized red snapper fillet. They packaged it nicely so that I could travel 30 miles to my home and I marinated it when I arrived home. (after washing it off) seasoned it up and I pan seared it in the fryer on top of the stove and then I baked it in my air fryer! This is the best fish I have ever purchased from a fish market! Very good fresh sea food prices. I buy shrimp off the boats and most of the time this place makes about $1.00 dollar a pound off the boat prices. The seafood is just as fresh as off the bots because this place buys from the boats. read more

Fresh, beautiful seafood at very reasonable prices. I stop here every time I'm at the coast and pick up some Georgia wild-caught shrimp to bring home with me! Got some bay scallops last week and they were screaming fresh and tasted just like the ocean. Only been once, but I liked what I saw. I'll defintely be back on my next trip to the Georgia coast. Seems like a pretty decent local seafood market. The shrimp looked very fresh. We got scallops and they really pretty good. read more
