Though we can't tell you about shower areas, we can tell you about what we'd experienced THIS time. The restaurant was clean. The servers were prompt, friendly, courteous and attentive. The food was good and they were very happy to offer to correct the overcooked fried eggs! Unfortunately, they are still short staffed. They had their own private parking which was very appreciated. Some products that they carried in the store were cake mixes, juices, sodas, snacks, pantry foods (Kraft Mac n Cheese etc). If I'm ever in the area I will definitely come back. I especially liked that they carried local snacks and treats in the store. Along the wall were historical references to the African American community. All in all a great experience.

We ended up getting a small variety of things, and the staff were friendly and even gave us a bag of free Asian original Lays (the Asian Lays are far superior) along with a free cloth reusable bag! They also carry useful convenience store items such as Tylenol, phone chargers, and cigarettes. All the stores were remodeled a few years back so this is one of the new stores. They have a rewards program where you can earn points on purchases and redeem them for food, drinks, snacks, and occasionally hoodies and shirts for prizes. The store is always stocked when I've stopped in for a coffee or Red Bull. The line moves quickly if they have a line at all. You'll find to registers up front but one is enough for the foot traffic that this location sees. Some employees can be super friendly and helpful. Others just want to finish your transaction and get back to stocking product. I haven't personally had an issue. As you'll see from previous reviews, you either love this store or you'd "give it a zero star review if you could." Another perk of this location is an ATM machine inside. Otherwise I cannot comment on the fluorescent lighting ambiance or the vibe. It's a gas station that also sells Doritos and coffee. I dig the remodels to all the stores. The new rewards program is convenient. Your seventh beverage purchase is always free. And who could forget the classic gas station slurpee? Happy this is nearby to work and walkable. It was close enough to where I was and I ended up coming here a few times in the two weeks I was here driving all around Denver. When I picked up my son and his wife from the airport, he asked me if I had a good time. I told him I did. He replied, "It looked like you did, you drove over 500 miles!" He had reset the trip odometer before he left and I didn't realize it. LOL So, yes, I needed plenty of gas! The pumps were easily accessible. There are more gas options than I've seen in California. They have Diesel, Unleaded Ethanol Free, Unleaded, Unleaded Plus, and Super Unleaded. You can see the Diesel & Unleaded gas prices on a large sign near E. Briarwood Ave. This station is located really close the the E. Arapahoe Rd./Colorado State Highway 88. There is a store as well. I never had the need to go inside, so it remains unseen to me. When I find myself driving around Denver, I will keep this gas station in mind!
