Apparently you can bribe the guys who run this place with a bag of Halloween candy and they'll hold a bay for you when there's four other cars waiting in line... I like this car wash because I have to wash my car by hand but I'm looking for a new place after this. Seeing a white guy get special treatment just rubs me the wrong way. The middle bay had a cone in front of it so I got in another line (there were already cars waiting for the other bays). This white guy in a Jeep drives up to the middle bay and honks his horn a couple times. A white guy who was overseeing the car wash came out and Jeep guy gave him a bag of Halloween candy and a pat on the back. The other guy moved the cone aside and Jeep guy just drives into the bay. Just not the same. I used to live in the neighborhood adjacent to the car wash. So I've been coming here for 10 + year. There's probably new ownership but the quality isn't worth the value anymore. Not impressed. Went to the Zelo Car Wash to get the Ultra-Mint Wash for $10.00. Per my attached image, disappointed in the service. As shown the film that was left on the windshield is the same film left on the vehicle. Mind you, my truck wasn't very dirty to begin with. I figured the wash I selected would do the job. Sadly, it didn't. So, I'll stick to the wash I've been going to that works a bit harder & cleans much better. The wash I go to also has the most amazing dryer inside the wash. It moves back & forth for you rather than you having to drive out slowly hoping you dont run out of time attempting to dry your vehicle off. Happy washing! read more

I have been to this car wash 3 times in the past six weeks. My y windshield is still not clean. Same spot on passenger side and same dirt where windshield washers do not reach. I have tried all 3 washes in the bay without the brushes or sponge things hanging down. Looking for a new place to go. Never see anyone there to complain to. read more

This is a 5 star positive post. This location is stellar. Jay is great for customer service. The bays are always kept neat and the automatic wash bays do a great job on both of my vehicles. Busy on weekends and I can see why. I had a cash concern with one of the automatics and Jay offered compensation for a wash on him. Superior customer service. I visit at least once a week. For the price and the product and services performed I give this location 10 plus stars. I love my vehicles and don't just go anywhere including the mobile detailers. I am sure everyone who posted other than stellar had their concerns resolved in a timely manner. What a nice car wash! It's completely robotic. Your car sits still while the washers move back and forth past your car about 5 times. We got the top level wash, the Double Z for 14 bucks. This includes not only a wax, but also a wheel clean. Pretty neat how the car wash is equipped with sensors to know where the wheels are to clean them. The car went in completely filthy, and came out clean and dry. And cheap, too! What more can you want? Nice job, Zelo! read more

I have used this car wash for sometime, with no issue. Today was very different. I used the western-most hand wash bay, applying tire wash and pre-soak. Soap was evident. Next I tried high pressure hand wash.,which did not seem to dispense soap. I then switched to high pressure rinse and then spot-free rinse. The console shut down, before I finished, asking me to reinsert my card. By the time I got my wallet out and got the card inserted,, the console had reset.. I finished the rinse and tried to stop my wash using the stop button,, but received the message that the minimal time had nor been used. I finally got it to stop. I moved out to the vacuums. The first on the left did not work. I used the hose on the right when i noticed 3 vehicles that had not been washed parked in adjacent stalls with the drivers just chatting. Then I noticed that my vehicle had vertical streaks all around, likely because there was no or inadequate soap in the high pressure. AAARRGH! read more

For the price a good car wash, they have one lane(left) for reg brush wash and the other(right) touch-less wash which is the one i used. My only gripe was that the drying option didn't really do a good job as my car was still wet leaving the wash, maybe that was an omen as shortly after it rained... read more

This is your average car wash. I say average because it's nothing special but I continuously choose it over other car washes because it has the undercarriage wash at any level you pay for. It's touch less and gets the grime off at the lowest levels but I can't say much more. If you want your rims to get clean, it's not worth the extra money for the tire/rim cleaner. This place is absolutely ridiculous. I've attempted to wash my car here three times, only once successfully. There was only one hands-free bay open today and it seemed to be moving faster than the manual bays. I waited in line for an hour only to have the automated system state it was unable to process any if the cards I had. I wasn't able to locate an ATM and they only had bill exchange machines. I tried to wash my car by hand once and really give my car the works! Well I guess I didn't rinse the car completely from the soap and this weird cracked pattern appeared on my car and never came off. I have taken my car to the car wash at other places and it still has never come off. So it was to my delight when I came to Mint and used the automatic car wash that the weird scaly pattern had come off of most of the car! My car looked so nice. I brought my car to Mint a second time in hopes that the rest comes off. Anyway I gave the car wash 4 stars because the dryer in the auto wash sucks... But most do. read more

A little frustrated with my car wash today. I usually go to the do it yourself because my car gets cleaned and it costs a few dollars less. There is nothing more frustrating than paying for a car wash that doesn't clean your car. Needless to say the guy tells me if I try the car wash he will give me it free and if I don't like it then he will get me into a bay... can't say no to a free wash... right. However the place is busy and when it's my turn in line the man is nowhere in sight. I go ahead and pay for a wash I don't really want so as not to hold up the line. My car is fairly clean but the back still has a dirty residue. So now I've paid for another wash that didn't clean my car. That stinks... oh well I would just say go to the do it yourself if you want your car clean. Still the people are great and the service is fair.... just not happy today. read more

I usually love this car wash, and have been coming here to service all of my vehicles along with majority of my friends and family for years, but highly disappointed with their customer service lately. We give this car wash at least $200/month on how often we use this wash. I think the COVID is bringing out the stinginess in every business, honestly shameful. I drove up to use their "FREE" vacuum service as I normally would, as I usually vacuum my car and then proceed for a full $14 wash, but I was approached and told to use their car wash first and then their vacuum services. Highly disgusted as there are NO signs that read you are obligated to pay them first for a wash or are not allowed to use their vacuums solely to clean your vehicle for 2 minutes. There were also other cars around me that were clearly there for the free use of their vacuums. I would have proceeded to wash my car afterwards, but feeling pressured and embarrassed around other people as being labeled a "freeloader," I left. After all the business we have given this wash, this is the courtesy we have received. I was the only one told this "new" rule of thumb out of all the individuals present at the wash. I will no longer be using this car wash for any of my services. read more

I used to love this place. Close to home and no need to keep feeding the machine quarters. Then they changed their card machines. They wouldn't read my debit card, only credit. I didn't like that but could live with it. Now their machines won't read either. Sorry to say I'm no longer a customer. read more

A terrible car wash!!! One of the worst I've ever been to! The "high pressure" rinse was definitely a low pressure cold temp rinse. Don't waste your money here. The self car wash by Lowe's and Target on Quincy and Buckley is soooo much better! and they have a couple of more bays. read more
