Rick is the best possible inspector for new home-buyers like us, and for experienced home owners as well! Though there are a handful of small issues with the 1970's home he inspected for us (like there are for most older homes), Rick was able to walk us through everything without it feeling overwhelming or scary. Honestly, it was fun! Rick is so friendly, was very COVID-conscious keeping his mask on the whole time, and taught us as much as we wanted to know about the house and the ways we could improve it. In person and on the detailed and easy-to-read report, he shared tons of helpful information about the home, and gave us a sense of what projects we might be able to tackle on our own vs. would require an experienced contractor. WOW! Rick from Sheldahl Property Inspections did an amazing inspection on our home during the due diligence period. After we went under contract he came out to the property and walked us through different things he was noticing that were either good, or needed improvement. Rick was great! He took extra time to explain the inspection process, any issues he found with our home, and even told us how to fix smaller safety issues ourselves. He also went really above and beyond in helping us to resolve an issue with inspecting the electrical system.
