The second time (And most recent) I took my dog in, i made sure to check his ears before leaving and they said "It's difficult to get it most of the time" as if that's a reason they shouldn't provide a service I've paid for and expect. Also I paid for the top dog package which included nail grinding and as it was the first time ever getting his nails ground I wasn't sure if it was done so I went in to double check and I could tell one of the groomers wasn't entirely sure which troubled me. All in all they do a pretty good job in a quick time.

Dr Dixon came on to me wanting to run her fingers through my long beard and long hair, coming at me rolling & curling her fingers while expressing how she really, rEAllY liked such men. Examined my pet Daisy while eyeing me up and down. Creepy on top of creepy. They know I'm Gay. Could not make a followup appointment for much needed dental work trying 3 separate calls to no avail. 3 separate attempts after running out of antibiotics for bad teeth. They came back with "how did she do on the antibiotic" asking me for what sounded like a professional vet observation which I am not. Then said we want to give her another 20 day regimen of the antibiotic, but made no followup appointment ... ... ... Don't animals become immune to too many antibiotics like humans do? Becoming frustrated I said screw you. My records arrived in the mail with the wrong second dog added "Choo Toy ... Poodle, Toy ... Neutered". Some kind of joke? They said he's on your account ... I am Gay, but never owned a Toy Poodle. Did I pay for someone else scam? Paying for combined services for a pet I DO NOT OWN? Always wondered why they had to have a sign up on the wall "Anyone saying abusive things to staff will be told to leave with records following close behind". Something like that. Why would you need such a sign in the first place? They hung up on me after I apologized and tried to file a complaint about the "Doctor's" behavior, trying to get the additional antibiotics for my next different vet appointment 10 days in the future. Refused me the needed antibiotics. They're the ones with a problem ... Won't accept a valid complaint ... Plus Endangering my dogs health. While sitting 2 hours past my scheduled appointment, a lady complained they had killed one of her pets taking it into the back recently! ¡ Happy to move on ! Hope you find someone to satisfy Dr Dixon. I've never been interested or available but I am insulted by it. Damaged by it. Embarrassed.

The day of the appt I walked in and was greeted with a stagnant, "who do we have?" as a response to my "good morning! How are you?" Any questions I had were responded to with irritation and I was told to "just wait over there, they'll get you when they're ready." The vet tech I had interaction with was amazing, friendly, knowledgeable and answered all of my questions. The vet wasn't the most personable person, but he wasn't rude either. He did answer my questions, but I feel like he barely looked at my puppy, and then we were charged $160 for a visit. My husband took our puppy back yesterday to get a shot - he was also given meds for diarrhea (which we had brought in a stool sample that was CLEARLY not diarrhea) - confused he asked the front desk why he was prescribed that med if the stool sample wasn't loose - the person at the front says "oh. you can refuse it if you want..." He refused and the bill dropped $55. Needless to say, we will not be back and we will be finding another vet. It's a shame because it is close to home. But I am sure we will find better elsewhere.

Our area has needed a skilled, talented, empathetic, and financially feasible veterinarian for a long time. I cannot thank Riverside enough for what he provides to our community and animals.

Dr. Baker told us what she thought was wrong in simple terms, gave us options, and let us ask ALL our questions. Even though they had a couple urgent cases, we didn't feel rushed. They had all the meds on-site and we were home in under 2 hours. They encouraged us to call if we had any questions over the weekend (which we did, and they answered questions over the phone). And then to my surprise, they called a week later to check on our dog and ask how she was doing. I've been to quite a few emergency vets in the last 10 years and this one was one of the best. Highly recommend, especially if you're scared for your fur baby or it's after-hours.

Waited 3 hours in the waiting room and then when they took us back to the room, the tech took her and said she was going to get vitals. I waited for like 2 hours not knowing what was going on. Not the first person came to let me know anything. I thought they were working on her. The doctor came in and asked what was wrong with my cat and I said I had been waiting two hours that I thought they were working on her already and she got some kind of ego trip and left the room like saying I was yelling at her. Then when she came back as soon as I said something she didn't like she was going to leave again. I begged her not to. Then she said something about putting my cat to sleep because I told her I was on disability and couldn't afford too much. She swore that my cat feline leukemia test 155 dollars. Came back negative. Then she asked what else I wanted test wise. I said can't you just give her some antibiotics? Two antibiotic shots 57 dollars each. A bottle of antibiotics to take home 110.00. Bag of IV fluids 70 dollars. Total visit amount was 564 dollars. That is craziness. The whole time it felt like they were more worried about money and how much everything cost. I felt no compassion from anyone. My cat was just dollar signs in their eyes. It was just a horrible experience all around. I will never take another animal there.

When I first started searching for my long haired dachshund puppy, I almost got burned on a scam (seriously, who does that? Apparently there are a lot of scam breeders out there). I came out of that experience really nervous that I would get scammed again. When I found this breeder and she came to me with pictures of the exact coloring, age and sex of the puppy that I wanted, I honestly thought it was too good to be true and must also be a scam. But it wasn't! Katherine is really great, she answered all of my questions immediately via email and helped me through the process of a first time puppy mom. She does require a $100 deposit to be on her waiting list and then a $200 deposit once you pick your puppy (you pay the rest when you pick up the pup), but that is completely normal. She gave me updates on my puppy, a starter kit with puppy food and a blanket, other essentials, and the AKC papers. She even was willing to meet me halfway between where we live, which cut down on my drive! She also started my puppy potty training on pee pads which helped tremendously. I could tell she really loves and cares for all of her dogs. I could not have had a better experience!
