it saddens me to leave this review because Mikayla is seriously the best doggie beautician ever! this is not a post about her but directly about Steph's bubbles bath and bows. Ive had my dogs all groomed here for years! my appointment tomorrow (April 23rd) is at 1230. I received a reminder text on April 21st at 923 am saying they needed my dogs uploaded rabies vaccines. I CALLED FIVE TIMES ALL DAY AND NOT A SINGLE PERSON ANSWERED! I LEFT A MESSAGE! NOT A SINGLE CALL BACK ALL DAY! I asked for their fax number to see where I could have my vets send the paperwork to as my vet office has a 24-48 hour records release time frame! by the way, the last time I was there a few months ago it was immediately after both their vet visits and I had the paperwork on me! I asked the receptionist to scan them and she said oh you're not due! no worries we don't need them! now 3 months later, it's April and they need them immediately. after the reminder text I got today at 1003am, with still no call back, I got another reminder message that they needed my records. so I responded with, "I think I need to cancel Bella's apt as I'm not sure I can get the record by 1230 tomorrow." the receptionist didn't cancel my apt but instead said, "she thought I'd get her the documents and kept my apt." all of this to say, when I told her I can't get her the documents in time she responded with, you're gonna get charged a rescheduling fee of $25. are you kidding me? then went on to say they were having phone troubles. ok so wait, you're having business issues that interfer with customers being able to manage what you require for them to come, AND CUSTOMERS ARE SUPPOSED TO PAY FOR THIS? NOT INTERESTED. SAVE YOUR MONEY AND FIND ANOTHER GROOMER, THESE PEOPLE ARE NOT CONSISITENT. I wish I could upload our text messages, because they even said while trying to charge me, "a lot of customers are really upset, you're not the only one." Oh that's so smart to charge them then lol for your business issue's. Great business tactic lol we shall see how many stay! Update: Owner responded by posting a Google Drive link instead of addressing the issue directly. That alone speaks to their communication style. read more

Unfortunately, my experience here was not the same as it was five years ago. I know times have changed for sure. The groomer did not come out and talk to me like they did in the past, and did not give out a report card, but that's not such a big deal again I know times have changed since Covid. It was rather expensive for just a bath, nails and (I guess they did anal glands), and they explained a haircut is 80-90. Wow! Too much for me. Unfortunately what is making me feel like I don't want to go back, is that I paid what I consider to be a lot of money these days to have my dog bathed because she stunk. Unfortunately the only difference I am noticing 24 hours later is that instead of smelling like Doritos, she now smells like a wet dog. I noticed that smell when I picked her up but I just assumed it was because she was still drying off a little bit, as they did do a really nice blowout, but it's natural to still smell a wet dog. However, now 24 hours later, she still smells like a wet dog with no hint whatsoever of dog shampoo. I know what a groomed dog is supposed to smell like, and this is definitely not it. I am sad to say I probably will just go elsewhere that is closer to my house anyway it's not really worth the drive. read more

I made my appointment and the price was very reasonable. I went to drop my baby off and was met by the owner who was very friendly. This made a great impression on me and my husband. I went in to check the place out... was greeted by the owner Stephanie... SUCH A SWEET SPIRIT!!! My Morkie Quinsy Star loved her from the start. The salon has a very clean smell, cute boutique of a variety of clothes, clean bathing, grooming, and drying areas. The staff is very knowledgeable in regards to different breed cuts, and listening to how the client would like their pet cut. They have some of the cutest dog clothes for your XXS-Large pets. A nice selection if collars, and grooming aids. This dog salon... felt like a regular hair salon. It would be nice if they had online booking though. All in all, I enjoyed my visit here and I'll be bringing my little diva back. read more

Our dog came home with a nasty cut on his belly and fleas, then to top it off they did not even preform all the services we paid for (nail trim, ear cleaning,anal gland) Save your money and time find a better groomer with an owner that cares. read more

Have always gone to Steph's Bubbles and Bows to get my dogs groomed. In the beginning had little issues with partial nails being cut. By mentioning something about it they fixed it on the spot. Great service and amazing prices, I'm always happy to go there. I recently decided to go to Shaggy to Chic Grooms LLC. on lakeside because it was closer to home and had a horrible experience. I decided to put a review on their Facebook page and was harassed the whole time. Had the owner message me, stating I was never a costumer and she never groomed my dogs. As I was providing proof I went back to the Facebook page and dropped the review to a 2 star. As being insulted wasn't enough from the owner one of her employees decided to put up messages under the Review blaming me for not providing the right information. Being bombarded from the employee and the owner was very unprofessional and insulting so I took off the review so they would stop harassing me. I felt like I wasn't valued as a customer, like they had no care about how they groomed my pets. If I receive two dogs with hair patches all over their body's and a husky that had chunks of hair falling out after I paid for a hair treatment package. I believe, I'm allowed to put up a review without basically being called a liar and have the blame thrown in my face. The reason I'm adding this horrible experience to this review page, I want people to know that you may have a bad experience at Shaggy to Chic. In conclusion I highly recommend Stephs Bubbles and Bows you will never experience such cruel behavior. read more

Can't say enough about this place! We are new to the area and had two pugs that needed a spa day! Got the Deluxe package and couldn't be happier! Our pugs came out happy and clean-cut! Would definitely recommend and will be back soon! read more

I took my diabetic dog here to get a bath. I was told by several people that they were wonderful and would do a great job. I contacted the owner in November and explained my situation. I was told it would be between $60-$75 but no more than $75. No problem, I had paid more before. I set up the appointment (5 months later due to finances) and dropped him off with food and treats to keep his sugar regulated. When I picked him up 4hrs later he was still very damp and not very clean all over. Needless to say I was not happy. I voiced my dissatisfaction and was given excuses. I left and the more I looked at him the more upset I got. He was put in a cage with a blower on him (cold air) and not towel and hand blown dry like I was told would be done. Visible water on my back seat and my hand when I pet him, that's how wet he still was. So I called them. I explained that I would like a full or partial refund because it was just unsatisfactory. I was given more excuses and then told "we don't have all day to spend on one dog"! Yes, I know how rude when they just got $73 from me. Before I got nasty I told the girl on the phone to have the owner call me ASAP. It was a while before I heard from her and the more I thought about how rude the girl on the phone was the more irritated I got. So I put a post on my Facebook page to all my friends about what happened and my dog would not be going back. The owner contacted me later on and offered to make things right. A free bath, deshedding, nails trimmed, pads trimmed of long hair etc. just wanted to make things right. No problem I was willing since the individual that bathed my dog was a fill in and not the regular bather. The owner and myself had multiple conversations (one in Walmart for about 20 mins). I thought things were fine. After leaving a very positive post about how above and beyond the owner went to make me happy I was hit with several calls from other groomers who had seen this rave review I left (My dog had not been bathed again yet). I was informed that the owner had called other grooming establishments and not only gave them my name. But she also stated I was "a crazy lady with a diabetic dog". Also that I wanted a free bath a month later. Which is so far from the truth. I have several text messages and FB messages from the owner that tells a very different story. The other establishments were told to beware of me and not accept my dog! How unprofessional and just blatantly calculated since after I posted the rave review the owner unfriended me on FB and then placed her phone calls. Little did she know I am very well known by lots of people and well liked. I am no longer taking my dog to Stephs not because of the service but because of the unprofessional manner in which they operate. read more
