Kelly did an exceptional job grooming our Shih-Poo, especially cleaning around his eyes. Kelly sent pictures and video of our pup while we were away, and it was clear he was loved by her and her children. She clearly knows a lot about dogs and was extremely professional, getting our vet information and asking about any medical issues that she needed to tend to, which included giving him medicine at a certain time. They both have their own "friends" and "crowds" they hang out and run with. . All reservations can be made online and you can add a treat, a walk, some private time or a bath to daycare. If your dog prefers people, they also have a daycare for that too. The staff is great, so your dog(or cat) is in good hands. However, over the past year, some noticeable changes have affected our experience. I've observed that many of the long-standing, more mature staff members are no longer there. Previously, Dakota was able to socialize and play with other dogs during outdoor time, which was the main part of why she enjoyed staying here so much. Since late 2025, she has consistently been kept separate from the other dogs during outside time. I first noticed this around Christmas and asked the staff for clarification. I wasn't given a clear explanation--only that with newer dogs in the mix, "that's just how it works out." It was disappointing not to receive a more direct answer. More importantly, I could tell Dakota seemed withdrawn compared to her previous stays. As a long-time, supportive customer, I also felt a lack of consideration for returning clients. Because of these changes, I've decided to board Dakota elsewhere.

I was petting my dog and realized clumps of hair was in my hand. I called and spoke with the manager the evening manager he told me she was not in. I finished grooming my dog by brushing his hair, and then I went back to canine cottage to speak with them. He was rude when I told him who I was I waited patiently while he tended to the other customers there then he rudely left me in the waiting room to speak with TIKA on the phone, and when he came back he told me that TIKA said no refunds and that I don't have to ever come back there again so a very nice until you have an issue with their services right? The way that manager treated me was disrespectful, and I do not recommend this location at all. I don't even wanna give it a star, but if I don't, I can't post so no that this is really a zero star not even worth one star.

Nails weren't trimmed, was told they couldn't do it. So my fiancé brushed him and took pictures to show the people here that they didnt do their job and still charged us full price. So she goes back just to be told she won't get a refund and we don't ever have to bring them back here. And I promise you, we won't. They fake like good people, but turn ugly as soon as you call them out on their negligence. Hope this saves someone from wasting time or money here.
