They are a local family run business, with good values and who aim to please their clients. The business is situated in Higham, a nearby village outside of Alfreton. There is a small car-park and on-street parking available. The offices are well equipped with out being too over the top. And most items are dealt with in-house. Their prices and turn around times are great and I could not ask for a better service. The only downside is that the reception is accessed via stairs.

I'm not always a huge fan of "mall locations" especially considering the grand Apple Stores you see across the world, but this location is ideal and suits Meadowhall, and the store still looks good, taking up a reasonably large unit in the mall, and of course, it is one of the stores that you'd expect to be in a large shopping centre. The store is clear and easy to follow and has a simplistic yet fresh and modern feel, it feels like it has been refurbished in the past couple of years. As with any Apple Store, it can get super busy at times, but the opening hours are good including into the late evening, so if you time your visit right there shouldn't be too much of a kerfuffle! 4*

The central location means that stock turnover is high, so even if you pop in every day, chances are you'll see something new. However this does mean that the shop gets very busy, especially at lunchtime. The clothes rails are tightly packed together so it can be difficult to manouvre between them when other people are trying to do the same. Also, there's only one changing room, so there can be queues if you want to try something on. Prices are average although there is sometimes some illogical pricing - sometimes they have items from Primark etc that are priced close to what the items would have cost new. I particularly like the book section, as they have some interesting books in great condition, priced around the £1.99-£2.50 mark.

Over 5 floors, which allegedly the building was built in the late 1800s. I personally love the unusual book store, where love thy neighbours vaule/ trust in each other still stands. This is a rarity in itself, which I love so much . They even have diy tea area where you help yourself to tea/coffee for a very small nominal fee.
