Quite a few months ago, my Macbook went from working perfectly to not turning on in the slightest. Usually i'm able to fix these type of problems myself, but for once I was completely stumped and had to turn to a repair shop. Took the Mac to a place on West Street, Sheffield... Huge mistake. They kept my Mac for over a month, didn't answer the phone, the shop was always closed and when I finally got hold of them, they stared at me blankly and handed it back... Untouched and not even close to repair.
Then I found Turtle Tech. They gave a set price of how much it would be to repair it and estimated it would be done within 3-4 days. Later that evening, I got a call letting me know that it wasn't the problem they originally thought it would be and would in fact be cheaper than the original quoted price. The next day I got a call saying it was all fixed and I could come pick it up. So not only were they overly honest on price, they turned out to be quicker than their own estimates.
Lastly, I received a 25% off discount card for my next repair for myself or a friend when I went to pick up my Mac. Stupidly, I left this card in my wallet and went to America and in true fashion, my girlfriend's iPhone and iPad screens cracked. I contacted Turtle Tech and explained the issue and they were more than happy to provide the discount to my girlfriend when she came in for the repairs.
Moral of the story... Apple suck the biggest of nads and Turtle Tech are great. Will be using in the future and recommending further. read more
