Good competitive prices on laptops and helpful staff. I went here for help with my Toshiba laptop after I purchased it from another shop, and I really wish I'd bought it from here, as their after care and prices are much better. Seriously 9 days?? I have also been advised to wait a full 14 days from the despatch date before I complain if the item does not arrive. Needless to say, I'm not one for waiting, I ordered the item and want it to be here now. Next time I'll pay the extra £5 and use a different company!!!

Currys PC World at the large Meadowhall mall in Sheffield is a fairly small branch (for Currys PC…read moreWorld) standards, albeit this is slightly typical for their branches located inside shopping malls, based on experiences at other branches such as Manchester Arndale's Currys PC World store. I didn't find the staff at this store to be too friendly or helpful, I orginally struggled to find the printers because the selection was that small. The laptop section was also lacking, with very few gaming laptops other than one Alienware, I'm a fan of the HP Omen myself and sadly unlike some branches it didn't appear to be stocked here. The overall feel of the store was pretty typical for a Currys PC World store, this branch appeared to be slightly nicer and more modern than the Manchester Arndale branch however. Decent overall feel of the store and a cool store to add to the already long list of what Meadowhall offers but due to issues with the selection in areas such as gaming laptops and printers, even Apple products, I feel this store only deserves a two-star rating.

Amazing people, helped me all the way, went to PC world as my Pc would not start, Pc world said i…read moreneeded a new pc as the motherboard had died, was not convinced by the spotty kids who served me so i took it to these people, Mr and Mrs chips found the issue and it was just the fuse in my plug, even better they did not even charge me to replace the fuse. So much for Pc World wanting me to buy a new computer, total scammers.

My iPhone was having problems charging. I took it into the…read moreshop and one of the staff took it into the back to look at the problem. He came back in less than 5 minutes with my phone working perfectly. I was expecting to pay for a replacement part and installation and only paid of a clean. The…read morefirst time I had a car ECU that part of the circuit track had been damaged and was way too fine for me to solder. I spoke to them on the phone and was confident they could repair it for me so I drove the hour journey and they quickly repaired it saving me a fortune over a replacement. The second was another circuit board that this time had been damaged by a bad previous repair, this time I posted it to them again a prompt repair was carried out for a great price. Thanks guys
