She does not have a good bedside manner. I did not feel comfortable with her at all. Won't be returning.

I've been seeing Dr. Patel since 2021. At first, she was kind, attentive, and empathetic. I recommended her to friends. During this past year, I have had the opposite experience with her. She was unfriendly and dismissive. After putting me on HRT, I shared with her that I was more weepy and prone to frustration and wondered if the HRT needed to be tweaked or maybe wasn't for me. She told me that her patients report improvement and that I should see a psychiatrist. Maybe I should see a psychiatrist, but to act like hormones can't possible affect a woman's emotionality bordered on gaslighting. The final straw for me, however, was I had to cancel my check up due to COVID exposure and was told the next available appointment was not for three months. When I said that seemed irresponsible given Dr. Patel was supposed to be monitoring my HRT, she said she would "pass it along" - not "I didn't realize that, I'll get back to you to see if we can fit you in." All to say, if i were you, I would find someone else who can give you more time and care. read more

I am truly perplexed by the negative comments here. Dr. Patel is AMAZING! AMAZING! AMAZING! In my opinion. I have been going to Dr. Patel for over five years. In the time I have been a patient, Dr. Patel has shown a genuine care for my health. She's attentive and listens to as well as answers my 21 questions. I wish she was my doctor for all things LOL that's how much I trust her. The office staff staff is hands down the best. They respond to phone calls and follow up calls. I can't ask for anything better. read more

Very cold and emotionless and does not make you feel comfortable when OBG appointments are already stressful and unpleasant. Didn't care to ask if you had questions and just gives you her back and leaves fast. Seemed annoyed when I asked even one question. Definitely not going back. read more

Not impressed. Felt a judgy vibe from her the entire time, and the only solution offered for any of my questions was to go on BC. I specifically told her I was not interested in that and she continued to offer only that. I will not be returning. On the upside, her office staff was very kind. read more

I went to her in 2013 and she was very helpful. Her office staff was a little rough, but her professionalism made it worth it. I attempted to go back to her after a long time and had the opposite experience. She was cold, inconsiderate and denied that she diagnosed me with my condition. I really like this Doctors office. Everyone is very friendly. I am a new patient of Dr. Patel and she has been great from the start. The Doctor office is quaint and small and they do not overbook as I see only a few people in the waiting area. They do charge a fee for missing appointments. Dr. Patel is knowledgeable and she does care of my well being. not like those Doctors that don't even look at you and stares at the chart and walks away after 10 minutes. She knows my situation and is quick to get things done. And she very straight forward. I'm looking forward to the future. read more

Absolutely love Dr. Patel-Shusterman! She's so easy to talk to and makes you feel comfortable every visit. I'm not sure why I'm seeing negative reviews on the staff because I've never encountered an issue or had an unpleasant experience. I like that the office is always quiet and clean. There's plenty of places to park on the street (huge plus to suburban living!). My appointments are always clear and you always get a confirmation call a few days ahead which is very nice. I'm so happy to have found a doctor close-by to home and most importantly, one I can trust! read more

HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE WITH STAFF!! I was really looking forward to my appointment but unfortunately the receptionist was very unprofessional and rude during my phone call on Aug 12th and August 13th. Receptionists are hired to be a professional, polite "interface" between the doctor and patient. Her behavior forced me to cancel my appointment. I hope that this review explains my feelings and disappointment with what has occurred, I would not like this to happen to me or any other patient and hope that corrective measures are taken swiftly!! HORRIBLE STAFF! I scheduled an appointment with Dr. Shefali for Friday January 29. Pat from her office is terribly rude. Can't believe this a medical office. I'm sure Dr. Patel is very talented and would do a wonderful job if I was seen my her, but her office staff is a disgrace!! I was given incorrect information about my insurance. When I was booking my appointment, I clarified atleast 8 times that the situation would be ok if my insurance was inactive. They said that if my new insurance would be active on February 1 2021, they would submit the claim accordingly. I reached my appointment only to learn that they will not see me unless the insurance is active. If that was the case, why was I given incorrect information? People need to learn how to value other peoples time. If I knew that this would be the case I would have scheduled my appointment for after February 1st. I was not seen my the doctor. WORST EXPERIENCE EVER. Honestly, save yourself. the trouble it's taken me to get to the office only to find out I won't be seen is disgraceful. Pat from her office was surprisingly rude. This was the first time I had made an appointment with this doctors office because I was recommended by someone personally. I'm sure the doctor is wonderful but her staff needs to learn to treat people right. read more

At 52, I've been to many gynecological practices over the years and this is hands down the best care I've ever received. Dr. Patel-Shusterman is caring, down to earth and knowledgeable. She's also an excellent choice for young women. She'll make the 1st gynecological visit a very comfortable experience. The office staff is also a pleasure to deal with. Office hours are convenient, you can schedule online, and I've never been kept waiting for my appointment. read more

Dr. Patel-Shusterman was amazing! I get very nervous going to the gyno and my previous experiences I've gotten very faint. When Dr. Patel-Shusterman walked in she could tell I was nervous. She made me feel very comfortable through the entire process. The entire appointment was quick and easy! My appointment was for 11:45 and I was out the door by 12:10. There's no waiting. She is very professional and I have never felt more at ease with a doctor. I highly recommend!! read more

This is the worst office to speak with and to deal with. Linda is so rude and unprofessional. I never usually write reviews, but I felt it was my turn to warn people. I do not recommend them at all. They are unkind and obnoxious and don't treat their patients with any semblance of respect. They are extremely disorganized and very inconsiderate. I only had one appointment here and it was a nightmare afterwards to get my prescriptions. Then, I was belittled trying to make another appointment. Linda made a point to berate me since I hadn't been there in over a year - less then two years, but over one year. Listen, things come up, people have lives and most women I'm friends with are able to get the gyno every year/year and half, so I wasn't that far off from a year. Why she chose to treat me with such hostility and belittle me, I'll never know. When I had seen the doctor in 2016, she was quiet and unhelpful. I figured maybe that was just her demeanor and I was willing to return to ask her opinion on an Ultra Sound I had gotten from a gastro doctor that showed fibroids. Well, that was my plan anyway until the office called and told me I hadn't made an appointment online (even though I have the confirmation email in my inbox) and that I hadn't been there in SOOOOO long why was I asking to see her??? Who behaves like this to patients/clients? It's truly the worst customer service I've ever encountered with ANY doctor's office, let alone an OB/GYN. Save yourself the aggravation and go elsewhere! read more

6 years I have been a patient of Dr. Patel. And yes, I posted a review today on another site as well. I posted a review a few years ago too...that said, now that you know my credibility...Dr. Patel's approach to your individualized health care is second to none. LITERALLY the ONLY down side is that she is indeed an OB. She's not a brain surgeon, she's not a GP, she's not a Spine Specialist, she doesn't treat bunions, and she's not a mental health specialist. Dr. Patel is an OB and while I would embrace the opportunity for her to be my primary Dr. for all things medical, her integrity speaks volumes. I'm not sure who "Regina S." is but, in the 6 years I've been a patient, I can't recall a person named Linda that works there...ever. So, do your research. Show up to an appointment. Bring your questions, bring your concerns...she will partner with you. AND in the very off chance the Dr./Patient alignment is not in sync, she has the integrity to be transparent with her patients. My experience has been based on her compassion and credibility. Dr. Patel sets the example for bedside manners and engagement. read more
