Recently, while I was trying to setup an appointment with her office, I learned that she had retired as of 2004. When I requested a copy of my medical history, there were very few instances of Dr. Wong's medical reports included in it. Many of those reports were copy of mammograms and pathology report to check for urine infection. What surprised me the most was one of her last reports where the front desk/receptionist narrated a half page paragraph about how difficult I was while booking my annual checkup. The receptionist was so rude and was a barrier between myself and the doctor's office, and there was nothing I could do to reach anyone else to tell my side of the ordeal. I disconnected and tried calling a few more times but the same rude person picked up. If doctor Wong relied of such staff and never really got to hear the patients' side of the ordeal, I am sure she must have lost many clients over time for this very reason . My only regret is that I did not mention it to her personally later during my visitation as I thought of sparing her the story of my ordeal. It sure was a strange way to part ways with her office.

I have not waited more than 10 minutes to be seen, I think as popular as they are, they do not try to book as many patient as possible, they have a nice waiting room, but it's never crowded with patients waiting for hours to be seen. The doctors and nurses are kind and attentive. I had some pain earlier in the pregnancy, and was able to get an appointment right away after hours. They have a deal with saint peters and you can do all your ultrasound right there on the weekend instead of going to the hospital. They have not tried to over bill me about anything yet, and tried to keep everything as up front as possible. They also have an on call doctor, so if anything you can message at any time. I mean if this is my first pregnancy, I will prob expect this as normal. However, with previous pregnancies, I have waited on average 1 hour for checkups, and once three. Yup, third tri and three hours in a waiting room. Tests gets ordered and charged even when I signed a paper saying no need. I have to head to many different locations for many different tests. My calls never got through on the first few tries. So this is like an unbelievable place, like seriously, why didn't I know about this before? Highly recommend them, they are fantastic.

Don't fool yourself - this is a BUSINESS and they are in it for the money, same as any other. Sadly, the medical system in America is doing a poor job of helping individuals at the root of their problems, but in even trying to get an exemption for an out-of-network doctor this office was unwilling to do so without an in-person visit. Guess what - I'm WILLING to pay the extra $20 a visit to my out-of-network naturopathic doctor so I don't HAVE to come in for yet another fake diagnosis. I've learned how to take care of myself (and shame on you, reader, if you don't) and lowered my own blood pressure without meds, stopped eating like 'an American', and I MOVE instead of sitting on my butt all day...I suggest you do the same and stop relying on doctors who want your business - and only your business - not your good health.
