It was early afternoon and I was looking to get a cup of coffee and something to eat, as I approached the coffee machines with cup in hand I started reading cleaning in process for every machine and the same rude cashier screamed out "there's no coffee "I said ...no coffee ? ?and she rudely said no coffee !!! with major ignorance which turned me off to purchasing any food . Just want to let the owner be aware of the lack of customer service skills and ignorance of this employee at this location .

We had an extremely uncomfortable and disappointing experience at the Shippensburg Walmart today…read more We went there to buy several things for my two younger sisters' first apartment, including a large trash can, bathroom caddy, and curtain rods. We used the self-checkout, paid for everything, and had our receipt showing every item we purchased. As we were leaving, a greeter began chasing after us and insinuating that we had not paid for the larger items because they did not have stickers on them. We were then stopped with someone from loss prevention standing behind us, which made us feel surrounded and as though we were being treated like we had stolen something. We explained that we had just gone through self-checkout and that no employee had put stickers on the items. More importantly, we had our receipt right there proving that we had paid for everything. Instead of simply checking the receipt and apologizing for the misunderstanding, the greeter started going off about how an employee "should have" put stickers on our items, as though that was somehow our fault. At that point, loss prevention walked away and so did we, completely baffled by how the situation had been handled. We understand stores need to prevent theft, but there is a respectful and professional way to verify a purchase. Chasing down paying customers, surrounding them with employees, and making them feel like criminals because Walmart's own employees failed to put stickers on merchandise is not it. We paid for every single item we left the store with and did nothing wrong. The entire interaction was rude, embarrassing, and completely unnecessary. I would not recommend shopping at the Shippensburg Walmart after this experience.

SHEETZ!!! What can you say about a SHEETZ?…read more Well this W#%A girl has something to say. I absolutely love it when I get about 45 miles outside of the city of Philadelphia because I can go to a Sheetz. Yes they may never be able to overrun their Philadelphia competition in sandwiches but When when it comes to the way the pumps are set up to get gas, and the way it is set up inside for drinks and ordering it's far superior to the other store's setup. Unlike their Philadelphia competition they have plenty of parking around the store so people tend to get their gas and then move to a parking spot when they want to enter the store to buy things. They don't leave their cars at the pumps for 15 minutes. This is more efficient for people who just want to come in and get gas. In and out. The employees here are friendlier and more helpful because it looks like they are treated better. I've had personal experience with this and thus A valid opinion because I've had a niece and a nephew work for Sheetz and I never once heard a complaint out of them. This particular location is like Animal House when college is in session. It can be extremely busy with cars going here and there, eight people at a time entering and leaving the store. And the store does a good thing handling it during these epic times. I was lucky enough to come here during the pandemic at 2 o'clock in the afternoon when college was not in session So I got to see a lot of the property and inside the store. It's clean and well-managed. Gas prices tend to run the same as others in the Vicinity.

Sheetz is great, wish they were in the Philadelphia area so I could visit more frequently…read more This sheets had a walk in cooler with beer , inside & outside seating and it was huge. I have been one that thinks sheetz is superior to wawa, an ongoing argument, but after this visit I may swing my vote back to wawa. I couldn't find breakfast bowls or hoagie bowls on their ordering screen. I couldn't believe they wouldn't have these items and maybe I was just not familiar with their ordering system , but I really looked for these options. Have to be really impressed with sheetz but the new wawa's in Florida are just like the sheetz with seating and walk in coolers. I love wawa but enjoy cheating with sheetz whenever I get the opportunity.

Typically I go to the one on Black Gap Road, right off of I-81 near the mall. It's rarely packed, can usually get in and out and on my way. They don't have a big convenience store that serves a bunch of food, so you don't get a whole lot of people stopping in for that. For that reason, it cuts down on traffic flow, making it generally nicer to just pull in and fill up. I know this location had an incident at one point in the bathroom, which is outside, so I stay away at night. It's a busy location during the day, though, with Route 997 and I-81 intersecting, so it's not so scary in the daylight. It's a gas station, not much more to say, really.

Additionally, the gas prices as they are cannot afford the return trip. I needed the med my dr prescribed now since I have issues breathing. The guy wished me to have a nice day. Uh that isn't happening because I'm in pain with labored breathing. Told to return in 45min to an hour. Sadly, nobody cares.
