From the beginning, she felt they were very prejudicial about it, even saying "the insurance needed preauthorization" for a medication she had been taking for over a dozen years. When she called to ask what the issue was, they ran it again and it was just fine. Today, they called to say they couldn't fill the medication because the prescriber wasn't in the immediate area and they could only fill those from the immediate area. Mind you, they've filled it several times but they just "couldn't believe it hadn't been flagged before". It's from less than 3 hours away and insurance is perfectly fine-filled perfectly on time. Then it was a "Good luck finding another pharmacy!" This has been a terrible experience for my wife, who had been so happy to have the ease of a hometown pharmacy. I would suggest you avoid this pharmacy if you aren't a local or have a medication they may not agree with (Even if they don't know why you take it or your health history). It often concerns me that pharmacists have the power to make medical decisions that should be between a patient and their physician.
