I come to target to use the CVS pharmacy. The store is clean and large and employees provide excellent customer service. There is plenty of parking in front of the store. I especially enjoy using the CVS Pharmacy inside target. Very convenient for customers to have Starbucks and CVS Pharmacy inside target. read more

If you want to get screamed at because you are picking up your medicine come here. Extremely unprofessional, and unruly. They never wear a name tag so do not expect to know who is even yelling at you either. If you have an issue with your insurance, there will be snide remarks made as well. Use this at your at your own expense. The manager encourages this behavior. read more

With my adventure for the day winding down and me about to head in for the night I thought I would make one more stop to pick up some needed items. From the looks of it this appears to be a newer Target out there, but in reality it is a few years old at this point. I walked in with a list of about five items that I needed. Items that any store like this should have on the shelves and easy to grab. I really wasn't up to browse because if you have seen one Target, you have seen them all. I made my way to each section to start marking the items off one by one. First stop, look and look but cannot find, strike one. Second stop, nada, strike two. Third stop, you have to be kidding me, strike three. To humor myself I continued on, at this point I was halfway through my list and did not find a single item. Would you believe that not a single one of my items that I needed was on the shelves? They weren't hard items; hair gel, mouthwash, printer paper...not saying that there weren't those items on the shelves, but the ones that I needed, they were not. Made for a pretty miserable stop. I'm not even going to mention what a mess the parking lot is. If you are already in a bad mood because shopping was a bust, best bet is attempting to leave this area is going to put you in a sour mood. read more

I wish Target still had the choice to call a phone number when you arrive to pickup items. I am still learning a new iPhone so I'm such a newbie at it. I couldn't even get on a wi-fi for awhile. So instead of struggling too long with it, we ended up flagging down an associate who had delivered items to another customer. Told her our problem and she very graciously fed our order number into her handheld device and said she would be right out with our order. We have always had good service from everyone, but she really helped us out as we weren't physically able to walk into the store easily. I hope I have her name correct, Hauau. It's not a SuperTarget but it is a super Target. Meaning, they have all the usual clothing, electronics, housewares and toys departments, but they do not have a complete supermarket store here. Yes, lots of grocery items and even a small produce department, but its not the full size produce or meat department that a SuperTarget would have. Still, you can do quite well with a full shop here. The store was clean, bright, well lit, and with wide aisles. The menswear department was well stocked with undies, tshirts, jackets and pants. Prices well marked, sizes appeared well marked too. Given the option of Chambersburg Target or Chambersburg Walmart, Target always wins. Chambersburg Target is typically of any newer Target. It has a cafe and Starbuck's location inside, so it's nice to go in there when Target gives out Starbuck's coupons. This location has a small grocery section, but nothing there really sticks out as being impressive. I like some of their Archer Farms products, but I see less and less of those as times goes by. Items in their health & beauty section are very competitively priced, so that is where I buy most health & beauty products. Their electronics and DVD prices usually best those of even Walmart, so check Target first. Target also has excellent marked down merchandise indicated with a red sticker (check the end caps). I find myself in Target nearly every week, and I never get bored looking at their selection of quality merchandise. read more

Seems a new thing for 1 person to stop the check out process...... lines are all the way accross the store because they form ONE line and wait for the next register. I'm sorry, what happened to picking a line and checking out. Had a verbal altercation with an employee mamed Andy that refused to do anything, even though he is supposed to be controlling the lines and flow.....he made two very rude comments to me... 1. "I can't control what people do" 2. "I'm not a leader I just work here" he then continued to speak about me with another employee while standing just a few feet away from me. I will NOT be insulted or intimidated by your cashiers. I then asked to speak to manager. Someone named Ben appeared. He could have CARED LESS about what happened. And his response to the lines being all the way to the end of the store when every register was open was that its their policy to form one line (even when you have 6-8 registers open) so that everyone gets a FAIR chance to checkout. This store has the WORST customer service I've ever experienced. YOU ARE NOT DOING ME A FAVOR BY ME SHOPPING IN YOUR STORE. I asked to hear from the General Manager of store and I want an apology..... neither has yet to happen. read more

Visited this store to do a return. They pulled up my receipt using my debit card and the guy doing my return was so rude. He asked if anything was wrong with the items and I explained no. He proceeded to do the return without speaking a word to me. I noticed at one point he had 2 items in his hand, he scanned one and put both to the side. I asked if he scanned both and he ignored me. He then questioned me again about doing my return and how it wasn't my first return I had done one several weeks before. When I told him no I had not he said he did not believe me and called for a manager. He told the manager his theory and they both stared and whispered to each other while he finished my return. I again asked about the miss scanned item. He rudely informed me it was scanned. When I got my return slip I had to double check it and sure enough he had not scanned it. He was less than enthused to have to return my missed $18 item. This location really needs to work on customer service skills. read more

Pretty standard Target. It's kept very clean and organized. They have a decent, but not great, grocery section. I don't usually do grocery shopping here but I've found things cheaper here than I have at the Giant across the parking lot. There's also a Starbucks in the front which is always a plus for me. read more

Target - Department Stores Near Me - Chambersburg, Pennsylvania

I am at Target every week. With the Red Card, I can save 5% off of everything. I also use coupons, mobile coupons, and Cartwheel. The store occasionally runs out of things I want, but rarely. The clothing selection is decent, but I only buy things on sale or clearance, I feel most clothing prices are a little high. In shoes, I rarely find anything that suits my style. The restrooms are a little small for such a large store, that surprises me. They're not as clean as they could be, either. This is a warm store, even in the winter. Don't go in there in February with a heavy coat on, you will get hot! The pharmacy is great here. Friendly and helpful staff are very accommodating. Unfortunately, they do not accept my new insurance, so I do not use them any longer. They have pharmacy rewards where after you fill 5 prescriptions, you get a certificate for an additional 5% off of a day of shopping. That's on top of any other savings. Nice little bonus, there. This Target has a decent grocery selection. They offer fresh foods as well. I don't generally buy any produce here, it usually looks old. Bananas are ok, but most other produce looks kind of sad. They also sell fresh meat, which I've not purchased. It looks good enough, though. As far as location, it's ideal. Close to other shopping and food. Close to the interstate and town. Plenty of parking in a large lot, and they do pretty well at bringing carts in from the corals. Staff is usually friendly and quite helpful if you need them. They'll often ask if you need any help without you initiating it. There is a Starbucks right inside this Target, which is great for coffee addicts. All in all, this is my favorite store. It has a few minor flaws, but most places do. read more

Tge Chambersburg target is pretty clean. Clean bathrooms too. Lots of deals to be had on the clearance racks. There is always fun stuff in the dollar bins. I do wish the grocery section was larger. Some of the prices on groceries is higher than what I'd like. read more

This location is usually pretty busy, but the store is always clean. Like most targets, they're very pricey and I just don't see how most Americans have the spending power to get big carts full of stuff in here. There is a Starbucks but you have to wait in line a little longer that most Starbucks. Overall not bad at all, close to other stores as well. read more

Target got new Brands which are cute but they changed the sizes so everything is bigger and the have barely any extra small stuff not only that but the quality of their tights have gotten worse and rip as soon as you take the out of the package. read more

Target is one of my favorite places to shop because it is clean, professional, and offers a wide selection of products. I love the way the store is planned out because you can easily get around and find what you are looking for. Not only is the store planned out perfectly but each section has wide variety of products. I love the book section, it is one of the few places in Chambersburg where I can find a decent selection of some of the newest books. I also love the movies and tv show section; your store has a remarkable selection in this area and offers decent deals. read more

Just moved into the area a month ago, have gone to this store 4 times, very nice store, has everything. No self checkout / express lane, have only had a couple registers open with long lines every time that I have stopped there. read more

I love the store and saving 5% on everything. They also have unique items other stores just don't carry. For example my silk almond creamer for my coffee. This location is clean and other than when it's busy it's very nice to just browse. So much better than Walmart!! read more

Was told to show at 5AM by Chambersburg store employee for ticket re Hatchamals purchase. Showed at 4:25AM. Waited thru 5AM until after 530AM. No one showed to offer ticket or explanation if no Hatchamals received. Others were waiting also. Very inconsiderate of Chambersburg store to allow this to happen to customers who sacrificed their sleep so as not to disappoint their children/grandchildren at Christmas. read more
