    After searching detailing services around the Hagerstown Maryland and Chambersburg area, I came…read moreacross Automotive Tint & Detail. I saw the reviews on Facebook and thought I'd give them a try considering everything looked great. I called Kevin, I assume the owner, and he scheduled me for a few days later(05/19/15) which was awesome. I was told the starting price for an interior detail only was $110 and then $40/hour. Interior detail included carpets & seats vacuumed and cleaned, the interior & doors steamed to loosen any dirt, etc. My car wasn't in super bad shape, I've had it for 6 years, so there was some ware and tear & maybe a few soda stains lol. I dropped my car off the evening before for my 9AM appointment the next day. About 3:30, I had called to check the status considering they would be closing at 5 and my husband and I were out of the area for a little while that day. Kevin told me that the car had taken longer than expected because of the hair/stains/etc and knocked off a half hour from the total. My grand total came to $180.20. Kind of a shocker because I didn't think my car was in that bad of shape. I was able to pay over the phone considering we wouldn't make it back in time before they closed and he was able to leave my car unlocked with my key under the mat. I peeked in and it looked gorgeous. Got in the car and noticed my center console below the radio/air controls. DIRTY. Looked like they hadn't touched it(picture provided). Drove home and decided to inspect a little more. I'm not anal when it comes to everything being exactly right, but $180 isn't chump change & the car should be spotless considering it had been there from 9(technically the night before) to closing time. Other than the center console, the area around the emergency brake and the gearshift were obviously not touched. I was pretty annoyed by this time considering I had to go behind them and clean it myself. Fast forward to the next morning.....today(05/20/15). Got in my car to head out of town for the day and noticed my driver's side seat was DIRTY! Now, I understand that seats/carpet look different once they dry. But this was bad. Looked worse than when I had dropped my car off! I called Kevin about a half hour after they opened the shop because I didn't want to be that annoying first call of the day & these were the excuses I got. As far as the center console below the radio and air controls, I was told that the dirt/crumbs may have gotten there while he was vacuuming the seats & that they use a toothbrush to clean the crevices. YEAH RIGHT. I used my nail and a wet wipe and it took care of the issue. I mentioned the area around the emergency brake and the gearshift and nothing was really said. I then mentioned the driver's side seat looking absolutely dirty. He explained that he couldn't remove the seat, therefore it was tough to get at the stains. Also, they don't know what the seats will look like until they're completely dry. When it came to the center console/gearshift/emergency brake areas, I asked why there wasn't a final check?!! I mean, they were obviously dirty!!! His reason was because they had finished my car close to closing time and that it may have been overlooked. Oookay. That excuse is gonna go over real well with a paying customer. Long story short, I didn't ask for my money back...I had no chance to. He offered me to come back to have the seat re-cleaned & the other issues re-cleaned the same day i'd take it in and to bring something to sit on because the seat would be wet. No thanks. It's not like we live in the area and I have the time to have them fix something that shouldn't have been an issue in the first place. Very very disappointed and I will not return.
