I'm very pleased with how fast and efficient the process was to get my new windshield. They were very kind and told me it would be an hour wait I only waited an hour and 15 mins. While driving today I lose my entire wiper that was installed on June 25th by SAFELITE when they replaced my windshield. I stopped and grabbed the old one after the car behind me ran it over! I called the local location and was told that I am over the six month warranty (by 5 days!) for the wipers! I'm sorry but your technician was the one who installed them! The local guy at Chambersburg said someone must of tampered with it!! Are you kidding me! This was YOUR mistake and you mistake costed me a new set of wipers ($40!!!) and I had to have a friend pick up a pair and bring to my workplace and install in the rain because of the quality of work your technician did! I give Safelite Auto- Chambersburg a 4/5 star only because the wrong windshield was ordered for my vehicle. Luckily, I was on vacation so it gave them sometime to hunt one down before I got home. I also was not given my previous inspection sticker and I was not followed up regarding my previous tinted windshield. The first experience was a windshield replacement in my 2008 F250; I took it back since the window trim wasn't correct, but they replaced it and corrected. The second experience was a windshield replacement in my 2002 Focus, no issues and good installation. The last experience was today; windshield chip repair in my 2018 MB E400. The manager was clear explaining what I could expect from a "repair" and described the process. It took 30-45 min and the repair was as described. Safelite is a decent company, materials are high quality and scheduling is easy, especially with their online tool. I like the online quote so you know what to expect for cost. After getting a chip in our windshield, our insurance company sent us to Safelite to have it repaired. I took the car in at the scheduled appointment time one Friday afternoon. I parked and walked inside, and a very friendly man (who I later found out was the manager) greeted me promptly. He walked outside with me to look at the chip. He inquired how it happened (rock on the highway) and explained how a chip effects a windshield. He then went over the process of fixing it, in detail. I really liked how he explained it all, it was informative and easy to understand. I also didn't expect such explanation, it was very welcomed. I liked knowing what was about to be done to my car. The waiting are at Safelite is very small. I doubt many people wait unless it is a small issue like mine. Whole windshield replacements take longer, and I'd bet most people leave their vehicle there for the day. The waiting are did have a coffee maker and water cooler, a tiny TV, and some magazines. It was summer and warm out, but the little area inside was well cooled. While I waited, there was another person waiting for her car to be fixed. She was chatting with the manager, who had such a friendly demeanor. When my car was done, the man went over, again, what was done. He said that there would always be a mark where it was fixed, but the fix ensures windshield integrity. He also explained I owed nothing, they bill insurance directly. He said they guarantee their work for life, so if anything ever happens with the fixed chip, to bring it back and they'll work on it for no charge. Lifetime warranty on work makes me feel confident. I left Safelite Auto Glass feeling good. They treated me very well, the work was done quickly, and the whole experience was positive. I'd highly recommend them to anyone. read more

Made a appointment to have window repaired. Tech called would be there at noon. 10 minutes before the appointment said it would be at 2. Didnt show up until 3, per the receipt. Wasted day of waiting. I had to leave and wasnt't around to see the install. BIG MISTAKE. Come home around 5:30 and my vechicle is srcatched around the window and glue left on vechicle. Plastic cowl damaged. Per the receipt eveything was good to go and vacuumed..... NOPE all lies! Called immediately. The local store manager came out after I had to call to make sure someone is going to come look at my vechicle. ( called at 2pm the next day). He agree it was their fault. Had to take it to a paint place. After the paint was fixed the plastic cowl was jerry rigged down by safe lite... Finally after two weeks everything was taken care off. My time will never recouped. If the tech would've been honest and said I damaged your vechicle and we're going to take care of it. I could've understand, but he just tried to hide and pretend nothing happened... read more
