Nearing the last stretch before getting home I needed to use the facilities somewhere. Keeping a close eye on the highway signs to let me know what was coming upon the exits and I saw there was a Sheetz off the next exit. I wish they would start putting how far the establishments on the signs were from the exit. I think that would dictate if someone came to there business. Already getting off the exit I was committed to going here. After driving for a bit I finally see the familiar red awning. I pull in park immediately. Head for the facilities and was happy to have my release. Of course after using the facilities I made my way through the store to grab some snacks to take home with me. If I hadn't have eaten not that long before stopping here, I probably would have tapped the screen to take home some MTO goodness. This is a decent lot, more than enough pumps, drive thru if you don't feel like going inside. Quick tip, you can order things like cooler drinks and snacks from the shelves, even tobacco products in the drive thru. Easy in and out, but it felt like it took a while to get back to the highway. read more

Drove past the Sheetz located on Sudley Manor today, the American flag was close to touching the ground. Upon closer inspection the flag is worn and coming apart at the seams. I let them know inside and received a shrug. When they saw me taking photos someone did come out and raise the flag. As a Vet this is VERY DISAPPOINTING! read more

Sheetz has been going down hill majorly when it comes to MTO food. Last month I ordered 4 chilli cheese dogs and mini hashed browns. When I got home, they only put 2 dogs in the bag. When I called them to complain the manager said sorry nothing they could do. I called corporate after and thankfully they gave me a few coupons for free MTO items. I avoided this particular Sheetz for a month hoping the call to corporate would've been what they needed to get their act together. My first time back today, and while I got everything I ordered, it is clear they don't care about customers orders. They charge like 50¢ per dog to add chili and another 50¢ to add cheese. They put litterally less than a teaspoon of chili on the dogs, and barely touched the dogs with cheese. So basically they stole $4 on my order by doing the bare minimum. Every other Sheetz I have gone to gives you what you pay for. I may give this Sheetz another try in a few months to see if they care about reviews and do something about them. But given they've not improved after a call to corporate, I have my doubts they actually care what their customers get. read more

6/2/19 Sheetz is not a place I have been to often. It reminds me of a Wa Wa's. I am not sure which place came out first. The restaurant/shop is what my wife and I were really interested in. There were food you could order from just like your standard restaurant or you could grab your snack food or drinks if you wish. Let's not forget about the sugar highway from hell either. This section had the flavored drinks and ice cream section too. The floor was stick from spilled drinks. I had ice cream, but stayed away from the sugar drinks. As tempting as it was, Dikembe Mutombo Mpolondo Mukamba Jean-Jacques Wamutombo's voice kept playing in my head. "No no no, not today." The manager I saw had the same name as me, but his name had an E at the end of my name. I have only meet four people now with the name Jelani. I have stopped being call my middle name since junior high school. Still, it's cool to see and hear an uncommon name like that in the United States. The bathrooms needed a clean up. There was a stick candy spread over portions of the floor. Not great for a first impression. Between this and the sticky floor by the sugar lane, this place wasn't bad. read more

This sheetz is the best! I already love sheetz but give me a shiny new sheetz, yes please! Huge lot that they are on so getting in and out of the place isn't too difficult (unlike the Haymarket location I live near). They also have 4 diesel pumps, one at each end, which is a rare find. Very clean bathrooms (as you would hope to have after being open only a month). Now I have yet to have used their MTO (food ordering) and many complaints is geared at that. From other sheetz I've been to, for gas station food, it's good stuff. I particularly am fond of their breakfast sandwiches. But I'll update once I try the MTO here. Plus how does the drive through for MTO work?? Particularly intrigued by that. Haven't seen many people using it in the times I've been there. I was surprised to see they have 10 - yes TEN slurpee options. I tried the pineapple mango which was pretty good even though I am normally not a huge fan of slurpees. Staff I have come across so far have been very friendly. Also, I wouldn't have noticed this had I not needed it but they have air for tires at the "back" of the lot behind the gas pumps for free (many places in this area charge). It's a gas station. Don't expect too much out of it. But it is a sheetz so it's pretty great overall. Update; I have now used their MTO and their drive thru. It is on the slow side, so if you are in a hurry it might not be the best idea. But each time (twice now) the employees were quite friendly and my order was correct. I ordered an app platter with Mozzarella Sticks, mac and cheese bites, and onion rings. Paying $5 for this I expected more. I got half of what I would at any other sheetz. I got 3 mozz sticks, 3 mac and cheese bites and 4 onion rings. I saw reviews that said the food comes out slow, this came out after a normal amount of time (fast for them) and all items were NOT fully cooked. Rings were cold and soggy, sticks were cold and cheese wasn't melted at all, and mac bites were mushy and fell apart even picking them up. I guess it came out so fast because they had these sitting there for hours and took these scraps and threw them together for my meal. Only logical explanation considering how cold and soggy they were and how little there was. I'll make the drive to go to South Riding or the sheetz off 28 next time. read more

A great place to fill up. New and pretty clean. The gas prices are close to the lowest in the area. But I also come for subz. The $4 footlong is one of the best deals in fast food right now. It's not a big selection but the meatball, deli and turkey subz are not bad. You can ask for pretzel bread as well but if you add cheese that's extra. Unless its grated parmesan that's included. I must say it's been hit or miss on the freshness of the food. You order from a sleek electronic touch screen system. Bring your receipt to the cashier and pay. They have a nice area to sit and enjoy your meal. There's a TV as well if you don't want to stare out the window and watch people fill up on gas. read more

Drove to this Sheetz last night while we were in the area visiting some family. We arrived around 7:00 PM and tried out the drive thru since it was completely empty. When I approached the area where you place orders I noticed that it was a touch screen system. I don't mind the concept of touch screens for ordering, but it seems the machines do not work well at all outdoors. I felt like I needed to press with exceptional force each time I selected an item for the machine to register my input. Once I got through ordering all of the items, I didn't have to wait super long for the food to come out. My wife and I both ordered sandwich "meltz"on their pretzel bread. The pretzel bread has always been awesome anytime we have been to Sheetz in the past, however last night it was inedibly stale, they also put on an exceptional amount of onions on my sandwich which was a very unpleasant surprise, and handed me a regular Coke instead of a Diet Coke. We don't have Sheetz out where we live, so whenever we go on Road Trips and pass one on the highway when we're hungry we usually stop in because their deli is normally very good. However, the experience at the Old Town Manassas Sheetz left a really sour taste in my mouth. I think we'll skip this one next time we are in the area. read more

Horrible service! The attitude is ridiculous! I order a meal combo and they forgot to give me my fries. Manager was extremely rude when I went back and said I had to pay for fries because she said she gave the fries to me but I never received them. She even said she will pull security footage but when we asked okay pull it out she refused. It was a horrible experience! I will never forget and I hope this place really focuses on who they hire. As a manager you should allow your customers a good experience. I love sheets but they need to hire better employees. I've been to this location a few times to get gas. There were enough pumps so no lines to wait for gas. They also have most likely the best price for gas in Manassas. I can't review the food since I've never ate here before but the reason I'm giving this Sheetz only 2 stars is because recently my mother's credit card was compromised by getting gas at this location. Apparently the CC company said it was possibly a card reader? She had to order another Amex and we all know how inconvenient that can be. read more
