Then went inside - ordered a breakfast Sammie to go: Sausage, egg, and cheese - with extra sausage and cheese - on a croissant, plus an order of mini hashbrowns. As with all Sheetz - you place your order at a digital kiosk - which spits out a receipt - that one then takes up to the register. Paid with Apple Pay. Food came up quickly - they call your order number out over a PA system to advise it is ready for pickup. First time I've seen that at a Sheetz! Food was hot and tasty! #Sheetz

Being a DIYer for our vehicles I popped the hood and immediately noticed the battery was out of place - the wing nut that secures the hold-down bar / J-hook was missing so the battery slid around freely. For those who know what I'm talking about, in order for this to happen the wing nut / washer has to be deliberately loosened with a socket wrench on to remove - it's not something that comes loose and pops off easily. Not pointing fingers, but I have concerns for sure. 1 - why does the battery hold down bar need to be tampered with? 2 - I torqued that bolt to OEM standards + installed the battery myself a few weeks before and then checked on it personally just to make sure things were good a few days before this safety inspection, so definitely didn't come off on its own. 3 - if this was an honest mistake, again, what are you doing tampering with the battery hold down bar for a safety inspection? Did you think it would disconnect before my wife drove off so you could score extra $$$ on maintenance repairs? While the service and price here are comparable to other gas stations in the area, this place certainly has lost my trust - I will be steering well clear of this place; don't want them under the hood for anything and have told everyone in my DIY crew about it.

I wanted to use their car wash as it is now open consistently. So I found out about the Shell app. I downloaded it. Entered a virtual card into the wallet of that app that had a spending limit on it. My car never holds more than $40 even when close to empty even with today's high gas prices. So I set up the payment in the app for $60 as the maximum purchase (again I wanted to get the $13 car wash I think it is). It said there was a problem. I lowered the max purchase in the Shell app to $40. Again it said there was a problem. So I just left as I had enough gas to get back home even though it was below a quarter of a tank and who knows what accident and road construction would have be sitting for 30 minutes or longer. I received texts saying that Shell pinged my purchased limit card for $100 each of the two times I tried the Shell app at the station which would require me to increase the max purchase for that card to use it virtually. So why ask for your max purchase if you are going to preauth for $100? Why not just say we are going to preauth for $100 no matter what? Someone at Shell needs to go to mgmt school. Too many mgmt issues over the last year

It doesn't look like much on the outside (or frankly the inside either) but it has a small deli counter with pizza and a few other things that are surprisingly good tasting! Clean restroom. Opens very early and I think doesn't close until about 9 p.m. Frequented a LOT by workmen and construction types since you can easily pull a long rig into their parking lot (and there is diesel). They sell propane the the local newspaper out front, too. Nice.

Fairly busy location. Yet it is convenient to major roads. Clean bathrooms and polite staff. Like that it's close to Cabela's and other area attractions. Good employees keep it looking sharp. I wish they would start putting how far the establishments on the signs were from the exit. I think that would dictate if someone came to there business. Already getting off the exit I was committed to going here. After driving for a bit I finally see the familiar red awning. I pull in park immediately. Head for the facilities and was happy to have my release. Of course after using the facilities I made my way through the store to grab some snacks to take home with me. If I hadn't have eaten not that long before stopping here, I probably would have tapped the screen to take home some MTO goodness. This is a decent lot, more than enough pumps, drive thru if you don't feel like going inside. Quick tip, you can order things like cooler drinks and snacks from the shelves, even tobacco products in the drive thru. Easy in and out, but it felt like it took a while to get back to the highway.

Here the coffee is fresh, and for things like this, cheaper results can be just fine. It's also convenient to Cabelas, and other historical areas.

So in comparison - this is a nice new facility - gas station, restrooms, ATM, convenience store, and more. I'm betting this location does a hell of a business on days/evenings that concerts are taking place at Nissan Pavilion - it's very close to that concert venue. Also, A man with several mops was blocking the way to the bathroom and told a coworker to "look out! Rookie driver!" Jeremy had to basically climb over me and these men, with their equipment, to get the door. Then there was someone in the accessible stall, making phone calls. I know this because the phone was on speaker, and the call was being forwarded. Look, I understand that people prefer the larger stall, but I shouldn't have to flash my ass at strangers cuz you've got calls to make. Have some consideration. After all that, we didn't buy anything cuz all we wanted to do was get away from this demented store and these late night people.
