After about a decade of my last review for here, I think after last night's interaction this place deserves an update. As you can see, I stop here often. Because of the hours I work and how busy I get at work at times I forget to eat and stop here on my way home to grab some food. During the pandemic this was usually my go to spot as nothing else was open. I have relied heavily on the Sheetz app and did most of my ordering via the app. Last night was no different. I was on my way home, pulled up the app and started to place my order. The distance from where I was would allow for enough time for the establishment to have my order ready when I arrived. I also needed to fuel up my vehicle, use the facilities, grab a drink, and pay. So that was way more than enough time for them to finish the order. When I reached the counter, let them scan the barcode on the app, and was told that they would grab my order. The meek employee behind the counter informed me that my order wasn't quite ready yet and I could wait by the pick up area and they would call me when it was. Mind you, at this point it had been close to 20-25 minutes since I ordered. I stood over by the pick up area and I will say this, they were busy. Lots of people coming and going. People that had come in after me were picking up their food and leaving. After about an additional 15 minutes with no call of my name I went back to the main counter to ask if something had happened to my order. The meek employee then asks who I assume to be the manager on shift about my order. Instead of just saying something along the lines of, "Sorry, we are out of tater tots, would you like a substitute," she went with barking at me like it was my fault that they were out and were going to substitute fries. Honestly, I would have been fine with that, but how dismissive she was and curt, wasn't the best interaction. After expressing how long ago I had ordered and how long ago I entered the store and paid, I was ignored, no acknowledgement. I then go to the side and notice that they do have a sign on the ordering kiosks that stated they were out of several items, but short of me being clairvoyant I would not have known that while ordering on the app. Also, if a store is out of an item the app usually updates and does not allow for you to order that item. I figured I would fill out a customer service message on the Sheetz website. As I am doing that my order is finally ready, 45-50 minutes after I initially ordered and 25-30 after I showed up to the store and paid. I continued with the website, but kept getting kicked from that. However there is a customer service number you can call. I though I would just leave a message and be done. However, I actually talked to someone. Want to know what the kicker to all this is? When I finally do get home, much later than I had anticipated, the order was still wrong. They did not complete it how I ordered it. Looks like I need to change up my routine on days I need to stop at a Sheetz. This location needs to realize that they are not the only location in Johnstown. Going to another location does not change my time to get home. I stick by that it is great they are a larger location, but their customer service in store is horrible. Sorry to inconvenience the staff. And I'll work on my clairvoyancy. read more

Worst service ordering on line from DoorDash just warning u ! DoorDash will take your money for weeks and tell u Sheetz does not have what u ordered! Sheetz should not use DoorDash to deliver! read more

I saw a guy forget his wallet, go to his truck and get it only to be refused service. Truly mind boggling. (I need 95 character).....

i would like to thank sheetz for providing a "my card" that is friendly to use for ageing persons with disabilities when purchasing gas. i have limited mobility and my hands and fingers are not as flexible as they used to be. but i find it very easy to scan "my card" and get my discounts without having to go into the store . please do not eliminate this card option. your prices are usually competative. i wish your food was as good as it used to be. read more

This is my favorite Sheetz but I would give all Sheetz 6 stars. The best convenience store ever. Seriously, if they expand they will take over the world. The best deal for sandwiches and the NEVER mess up your order. MTOs!!!!!!! Man this is a reason for me to move back east. Gas, Galliker's tea, MTO, a Gob, and throw a hot dog in there too. But seriously? Chill with the 'Z' usage already. I get it. Sheet(Z). It doesn't mean you have to replace every 'S' everywhere with a 'Z'.... ...actually I don't care...just stick around and please open a store on California and 7th in San Francisco. read more

Good food cooked fresh. Clean and well lit. Not a bad place to grab a snack. The tacos were great. Cheese sticks were not cooked well. The fries were good. The shakes are good. The onion rings were grease bombs... It's hit and miss at this place, but mostly good! read more

Great place and the staff is very friendly, courtious and fast. I love how consistant the staff are when it comes to making food.

I never leave bad reviews but when a manager of the store loudly says a rude comment that's a different story... Everything else was great at my visit today. I ordered a salad and a smoothie. My food came pretty quick no complaints there. However after getting my food I waited about more 10 mins for my drink.... I notice none of the 2 people making food has even walked over to the beeping monitor to make my drink they were making other people's food orders.... no big deal I just simply asked the girl if my drink was being made still and she said yes be a few mins. While a women in a grey shirt (I'm assuming is some sort of manager)came up and started making it right away. When I stepped back she loudly says "obviously we are busy". That's when I got pissed. I have worked in retail management for years and you do not act like a child and blurt out what your thinking loudly enough for that annoying customer to hear! Bad experience the employee named Debbie was so rude. My father was a visitor from New Zealand and trying to purchase beer, but she didn't explain to him how the system works that you have to show your ID instead she flipped out on him. My dad has a British accent and he's trying to be nice with this lady but she wasn't very pleasant with him. I will never recommend this place. Poor customer service people are not friendly. I was so embarrassed with her behavior. read more

The staff makes the store. the food is good but VERY overpriced, gas prices are wildly different from area to area and the upper management is a tad out of touch read more

I just ordered two steak burritos and I think I got vegan burritos. I would guess there was less than two ounces of steak in each of them. Will never order them again. read more
