This is the Sheetz that is basically located in downtown Johnstown. Depending on the time of day…read moreyou visit the Sheetz determines the type of experience you can have here. Stop during a typical day and it is a smooth sailing experience that you would not be able to tell the difference from any other Sheetz. However if you were to stop by here during the late night hours it is totally a different experience. Not in regards of the staff, but in regards to the type of customers that appear seemingly out of nowhere. It is quite possible to spot the track suit wearing, Ugg sporting, I just got out of bed look. That aside, this is a typical Sheetz experience. **Something to note: pay close attention to the bathroom signs. Don't be like me and realize you are in the wrong one until you are about to exit the said bathroom. You will be stared at.**

Haynes St Sheetz is awful. They NEVER get an order right. We order a lot from this Sheetz at work…read morebecause it's the only place open late. Not one of our orders has been correct - ever! I'm not talking about small things either - they miss whole items more times than I could count. Toppings are either missing entirely or incorrect. Don't ever order a salad because they never give you the dressing. Sauces are missing most of the time - so often that if a sauce is received it's a shocking surprise. You can't get your order delivered because it's cold when it arrives even though the store is literally 2 minutes away. You can't leave work to go pick up your order because it's never ready on time. By the time you get back from picking it up, lunch break is over. When you finally do get your order, nothing is marked correctly. They just throw random receipts on items - if you even get it marked at all. Everything is just thrown in the bag. Doesn't matter if it's upside down fries or cheese sticks thrown about randomly. It is really unbelievable to me that the employees get to keep their jobs. They obviously don't care at all. Out of 20+ orders we have placed they haven't been able to get one of them correct. Corporate doesn't seem to care either because they've been called NUMEROUS times about this particular Sheetz, and the same careless jerks still work there. Even a complete moron can get an order right once in a while. So this is not stupidity, they just flat out don't care. It's shameful that these employees actually take money for "working" there. I'm so done!!!

They seemed to be excited that a long vacant stretch of land on Scalp Ave was finally going to be useful. They wanted more variety. However, I think that on this gas station saturated strip of road, it might not have been the correct thing to place here. I want to stress here that this is just my opinion, which I am entitled to, but I think that with the other gas stations, and setup concept, it wasn't needed. See, if you are from Pennsylvania, you already know about the gas station wars going on. Especially with the ones that have made to order food and most times give off that feel of fast food restaurant. The two most notable ones in Pennsylvania are Sheetz and Wawa. Sheetz on the west side of the state and Wawa on the east side of the state. But then comes stumbling in, from the center of the state, Rutter's. Trying to fit in and cater more towards truckers than the everyday traveler. Gas prices, I don't think that I can say much about them. When this first opened, there was a price war. Now, they have levelled out and are on par with the rest of the area. There menu is a bit different than their competitors. I will give them this, since this is the newest gas station they didn't hold back. The lot is large which lends to ample pumps and parking. Inside is large as well, and bright. Coolers stocked with every drink possible. Beer and wine is available for purchase. Food ready to order from the touchscreen. An interesting thing about this place is there is a 21+ area. Skills area where you can gamble a little and also imbibe. Alcoholic drinks are available. Which brings me to this point, but who decides to have a drink at a gas station? Do you not know that police regularly show up at them and if you intend to drive after imbibing you are setting yourself up. As for the food, well...it tasted as good as it was prepared. See, here, they don't have deep fryers, they have these huge air fryers, or at least I think that is what they are. Once your food goes through this contraption it drops out into a pan and you just wait for them to slowly go over and package it up. I actually watched my food be put in, drop out, sit there, get packaged, and sit there some more. Multiple people who ordered after me got their food before me. I had ordered their appetizer sampler thing. I went with onion rings, tater tots, and fried pickles. My brother got a similar set up, except his fried pickles came out perfectly fine, mine came out mangled beyond belief. With the amount of time it sat before being put into my hands a majority of the food was cold. Or was it even prepared correctly if you drop everything in the same contraption with hopes it is going to come out properly cooked. The next day, the food came out a bit quicker than it went in...multiple times. Was it the fried pickles? Was it the cold tater tots? Was it the onion rings? Who knows for sure. I should have known better than to get food from a place that once offered scallops on their menu.
