But prior to that I had to grab the card for the medication I needed off the shelf and then go to the pharmacy counter, an unneeded step in the process if you ask me. For this visit, it was definitely a very unneeded step for me. The card I took with me, they just happened to be out of, however they did have the off brand, which I was fine with. I do have to say that the guy working the pharmacy counter did at least attempt to make it right. Most people would have been over it and just told me they did not have it. He did look over everything they had back there that was similar and let me know what was the case. Saving me from having to back to the aisle and look over the cards for all the other medications. I did not go through the rest of the store, but I could tell that this was set up just like all the other ones out there. The access to the lot is a bit wonky so do be careful when entering/exiting the lot.

Healthy selection for convenience items and drinks. Bathrooms on premise if you need. Lottery. Tobacco. All the essentials.

With the tree line and stream, there is nothing at this intersection but this gas station/convenience store. When I saw this, I thought is was your run of the mill country gas station. At the pumps, it is essentially so. But when you go inside it is a bit different. They were able to fit so much stuff inside here that it serves more than just a convenience store. They have an island as the register area. That area has items that you would expect behind the register. Tobacco products and items of the such. When you walk further into the store you find the items that you would expect in a convenience store. But you also find that this can be a corner store if you forgot something. They also had some prepared items, but I can't remember exactly what they were. They also have the skills games that are popping up everywhere you go. The best part of this place are the employees. They may appear and come off as gruff, they are the sweetest employees I have come across. Decent place to visit.

To note, there is another Sheetz located in Latrobe, but it is up in town which meant you would have to head off the direct route, basically making a detour. Maybe at most a two mile difference between the two, but the feel of the both are very different. With the new location you have all the brand new additions you come across. Once it is allowed, eating in house looks like it will be a decent experience. The seating area appears to be open and welcoming, situated at the from of the store. If you need to do work while you are here it appears that there are seating areas that will afford you access to outlets, both conventional and USB. As for the store portion, it has everything you have come to know Sheetz to carry. With it being new the custom has become to have a beer cooler section. This one does not disappoint. Carrying a variety of wine, not only beer, you can make this a one stop shop for your needs. As for the food service, with it being new there are a few hiccups. For the fast food pace it took a minute to get the order straight, and at that point of the day, I was the only ordering food. What I had ordered needed utensils but I was not given any. But what was lacking was made up for in customer service. They went above and beyond to make sure I was in the know with where my food was in the process.

Also it would be a nice respite from the heat stepping in somewhere that had the AC running. This CVS is situated on a busy intersection on Route 30 in Latrobe. It actually sits on the corner of what used to be a drive in theater. We all remember when that drive in had on their sign "We did not sale to Target." Instead, they had this corner go to CVS. Although CVS does not take a lot of room on the lot, they made it a decent sized store with a pharmacy drive thru. Inside the store is well organized and clean. Allowing you to find exactly what you need and make your way on your day. I did browse a bit while in here just to see if there was anything I might need and didn't have in mind. After I browsed, grabbed what I needed, and had enough of the comforting AC, I made my way to the registers. I had a bit of a wait, because out of the number of registers they had, they only had one register open. Once the line started to be moving, it was smooth sailing.

But my mother gets her prescriptions here and sometimes I pick them up. Sometimes I have to talk to the pharmacists. I've never had a problem here... everybody's helpful, friendly and patience. As far as the ladies in the front of the store? I see them all the time. In fact, they've taken my business from everybody else. This is an excellent store. I actually feel fairly comfortable going here. And trust me... I do not like going to the store. The lighting is horrible though. That's true. It's only place that's worse than Wallgreens. I'm in and out pretty quickly. But then again, the whole world has gone flickering fluorescent or LED.
