Spoke to Joe on the phone about a 2019 GMC SIERRA Denali they had on the lot. He unfortunately was already off work by the time my wife and I arrived. He did a great job responding in texts to us and let us know that Jeff "Nemo" would help us. Unfortunately Jeff nor the sales manager were of any help. Jeff was extremely short and seemed annoyed that he had to help us. He was also short and snippy on the phone with my current lender. I was looking to trade in a 2017 GMC SIERRA SLT with a 6 inch lift, snug top truck cap and dual exhaust flow masters with 76,000 miles, KBB has the median trade in value at 34,500 and Sheehan offered 28,000. I already had my truck pre-appraised by another lender at 38,000, in a different market, Columbus GA. Told Jeff and the sales manager i wanted at least 33,000 and was told the best they could do is 29,500. Once they showed me the first offer my wife and i knew we were being low balled, and they seemed to be in no hurry to help. Was also told that the $3,500 snug top truck cap was hurting the value of my truck and that they would simply put it on offer up to get rid of. My experience at Sheehan service department was typical of the service you would get 30 years ago, you would think a simple matter of a oil change, which include a car wash and vacuum, and top off all fluids. After a two hour wait, they returned the car but had not done the wash or vacuum. I waited another 30 minutes for this. The next day I discovered they had not topped off the fluids as I had no windshield wiper fluid. I have to assume they didn't do any of the fluids? Before I discovered that they hadn't filled the fluids I called to schedule an oil change for my other car diesel which needed 8 qts of non-synthetic oil. I checked with the parts department that they had it in. Servive rep, Allen said no problem and it would cost $59.95 ($10 more than the other car for less expensive oil). When I showed up for my appointment, the same service rep Allen who I had talked with on the phone said they could not do it for that price and he denied ever telling me he could. I'd have to pay extra for the oil, and by the way, they did not have the filter. My experience just shows certain auto dealers still use bait and switch tactics, with truly unprofessional staff. I went to change my tires for the first time. Tire place I went to says there is no key to remove the lug nuts and that they looked everywhere! Called Sheehan Buick to find out what to do.... transferred me to a phone that rang 30 times. Called back. Transferred me to another line that rang 30 times. Called back again. Spoke to someone who said I have to bring the car in, but no reason why. I asked if they could order the lug nut key via my VIN number. "No, just bring the car in!" Okay, well, how much will it be for the key? They transferred me to yet another phone that rang 30 times....no voicemail, nothing. They suck. I called back an hour later, goes right to voicemail. What dealership has their main number go to voicemail!? My car lease is due in 2 months. I am NOT going to them. Simple lug nut key and they lose out on $1000's in recurring business. Wish I could give 0 stars but the system does not allow it. At first leasing the Encore at Sheehan Buick was a good experience. Nice salesman, great sales manager and got a good deal. From there all the following contacts with Sheehan Buick was a NIGHTMARE. You see all their awards for service, they are a farce. They are smart because when they know you had a bad experience, they do not send you a survey to rate their service. I had 2 bad experiences and the 2nd was even worse than the first. 1st Experience- Called to set service appt approximately 8 months ago and just had come out of hospital with a kidney stone obstructing my kidney and explained to the girl on the phone I had a tube coming out of my back could I have a courtesy car for a couple of hours. Only bring car for oil change and fix blue tooth. Saturday got to the dealership and met with the service advisor from hell. Asked for the car explained I was in a lot of pain and I was told it was against policy. Went to waiting room and saw the sales manger who I had dealt with. We spoke and he went in to speak with service advisor and requested a car of which they had plenty of. The advisor told me when he was available, he would get me a car. Hour and 45 minutes later he came out and said he had one available, but my car would be ready in 20 minutes. Did this out of spite and to add insult to injury I drove home and my Bluetooth still was not working. Called and complained to service manger who was like ice said he would speak with advisor- never heard back. I did get a survey this time and gave the appropriate rating. Came to find out the service advisor was let go 6 months later. 2nd Experience- On Sept 14 brought car in for oil change and Bluetooth, Bluetooth works sometimes and not on others. Met with the service advisor by the name of Jason, the nicest person to work with and is a model of what an advisor should be. After a couple of hours my car was ready and went to spoke with Jason. The Tech was there also and said there was no way to fix the Bluetooth and there was a problem with the 15-16-17 because of the radio. Sheehan and Gm would not pay for new radios even under warrantee. Felt bad for Jason and he did not know what to say. I have owned or leased most every Manufacturer of cars and never had a dealership that would not honor their commitments to clients. I pay for extras such as Bluetooth. Most service departments are falling over you to help so come back. I drive on the turnpike to and from work and there are laws against texting and speaking on the phone in many states and Sheehan and Buick are abetting breaking the law. They probably have already been the cause of accidents. It would be nice if a TV network got hold of this review. I have never made a google complaint, but this dealership needs to be held accountable. By the way it has been 8 days and NEVER RECEIVED A Survey to Rate Their Performance. ***This review ONLY pertains to their USED car Autoplex. I have NOT had any experience with their NEW car dealership*** This is my experience with Sheehan Used Car Autoplex: I pulled up to the Sheehan Autoplex and almost every single salesperson was already standing outside. Before I even stepped completely out of my car I was approached by a man named Joe who introduced himself. I immediately told him that I wanted to test drive the 2012 White Camaro that they had advertised for about $18,000. He asked us to come inside so that he could grab a temporary tag to put on the car and he also asked for my license, which is pretty standard. I got into the Camaro and we pulled off of the lot. I then noticed that the car was on E and that the check engine light was on (which NO ONE test driving a car would want to see). I brought it to his attention so he asked me to turn around so that they could put gas in the car. The second I pull back up to the lot, he mentioned nothing about getting the gas and asked me to come inside. All while trying to assure me that the check engine light was not a big deal and it was "probably' because someone didn't close the gas cap all the way. Mind you, I was only able to test drive the car for a total of 2 minutes. I sit down at his cubicle even though he already rubbed me the wrong way. I immediately wanted to make sure that the price of the car was negotiable because $18,000 is quite steep for a 2012 Camaro that had been involved in an accident previously, had the check engine light on and stained interior. He immediately said that there is no negotiating and that the price is the final price. I basically told him flat out that I would not buy the car unless the price was dropped at least $1,000 because of all of the issues I previously stated. He said word for word "Well I can ask but I can guarantee that it wont happen and I don't want you to get your feelings hurt". If there is one thing I hate more than anything when it comes to car dealerships, it is their lack of respect for women. That is one of the main issues I had with Joe. I felt that he was speaking down to me the entire time even though I clearly did months of research and my dad was previously a car salesman. He then went an asked someone in the financing department and came back saying all they could take off is $200. At that point, I basically knew I would be leaving there without a car. I filled out the application sheet at some point but he was instructed by my father not the run my credit until he was verbally told to do so. Well that didn't happen. He ran it anyway. The reason I didn't want my credit run until I said to do so is because there would be no point unless they were willing to drop the price of the car. I thought he was going to go ask for more money to be knocked off the price but he instead decided to run my credit. Another man then comes in and sits down. He basically tells me that I am an "almost" sub-prime buyer and that my interest rate would be AT LEAST %16, which is outrageous especially since my credit is in the average range. He then had the nerve to say I had previous medical bills (which was not true at all). He was really attempting to bring up an old credit card from 7+ years prior. He basically gave me 900 different reasons to not buy a car for them. At least that is the way I felt. From the moment I sat down, to the moment that I walked out, I felt like they were doing nothing to really help me buy a car. As a first time car buyer at 25 years old (my previous leases were under my mothers name), that was a huge red flag for me. I've been to many car dealerships but my experience at Sheehan was by far the worst. I've never felt like someone was trying to scam me so much in my entire life. I obviously left without buying a car that day and promised myself I would never step foot in that dealership again. The next day, I went back to Autonation Chevrolet Fort Lauderdale (the same dealership where my last 2 leases under my mothers name were purchased). Not only did I leave with a newer, ALREADY CERTIFIED Camaro (2014) with half of the miles on it (only 14,000), I left with a GREAT deal. The out the door price would have been the same as the one at Sheehan (Sheehan's dealer fees were almost double) but I got a much newer car! They also threw in a $500 package for free just because I asked them too! The better experience alone basically paid for itself. Oh and my interest rate for my loan was 9% not "at least" 16% as I was told it would be by the finance person at Sheehan. So, if you do not have PERFECT credit, DO NOT GO TO THIS DEALERSHIP because they will SCAM you into paying more for less! read more

When I decided I wanted to buy a new car I was excited at first but knew I would dread the process of dealing with a car salesman! After doing my research I knew the exact car I wanted and how much I wanted to pay for it. The first Buick dealership I visited (In Brickell) I had a horrible experience with a salesman trying to force me to buying a car that I didn't want. So I decided to drive an hour to this dealership. Before arriving here I called to make sure the particular vehicle I wanted was still on their lot and it was but the sales person I spoke with was extremely pushy over the phone so I knew right away I didn't want to deal with him. I visited their website and noticed they has a female sales person and so when I went I decided to ask for her (I went alone btw) and I couldn't be more satisfied with the process Jannell was extremely patient with me, I didn't feel pressured about anything and I walked out with my new baby within a few hours. The guys in finance explained everything thoroughly and answered all of my questions. I couldn't be more happy with my experience here. P.s it always helps to know what you want, how much you want to pay over all, (NOT just monthly) and how much your willing to accept for your trade in if your trading a car in. But then again what do I know, I'm just a girl with a brand new totally awesome car!! read more

I bought my truck at Sheehan about 5 years ago; starting with that transaction, which went well and efficiently, Sheehan's mechanics are the only guys who have been under the hood. Every time I've brought my Sierra there for service, they have given me a good, honest list of what needs to be done now, soon, and next time. It helps with budgeting. I went in for a major 130k mile service early July, they inspected everything and found the cause of a a few things that I had been hearing whilst driving. They also found a nail in the inside sidewall of one of my rear tires, I wanted to see the tread left on the rear tires to decide wether to replace one or both, Brian, my service guy, offered to text me some photos so I didn't have to drive back over there. Worked great, I was able to make an informed decision and get the work done. They finished with everything right when they said they would and when I picked up the truck I was pleasantly surprised to see that that they washed and vacuumed it, looked great. That means Sheehan put on tires that were already 2 years old. i must say, checking the tires before I bought the car never seemed something to worry about. After dealing with some unprofessional (that's being kind) dealerships, that shall remain nameless, located on West Atlantic and rhymes with Floral Square Auto Mall, it was very refreshing to deal with the guys at Sheehan. They were literally my last ditch effort. Typically, I like to know my options when car buying, so I was pretty direct with these guys from the jump. They came back with a very respectable offer, but more so, a very enjoyable car buying experience. They're no hassle, they're not those hacky reps or sales managers trying to take advantage, just good guys trying to sell cars. Sheehan not only gave me the best price, but a pleasurable car buying experience. They made writing this review easy. Both Jeff Senerth and Mike Bonn are stand-up guys, who helped us make this decision a simple one for my family. Even Fred in finance, who is a doppelganger for Robin Williams in Good Will Hunting, was a real treat. So sure, when the car came back from detailing could have been vacuumed or washed thoroughly. And I get it, it's Sunday evening and that car wash guy just wants to rush home and watch Ray Donovan or something, but Jeff and Mike saw it, made right and brought the car back brand spanking new. See, nothing is perfect, and mistakes will be made, it's acknowledging them and correcting those very mistakes that makes the difference, especially in a service industry. Every 3 years when it comes time to start looking for new cars to lease I DREAD the whole car shopping process/experience. I had been seeing the new GMC terrains on the road and liked the way they looked. So I went to Sheehan GMC just to check them out & maybe take it for a test drive (was not planning on getting a car that day). Most car salesman I dealt with in the past were pushy and made me feel pressured. Until I meant Gerard White! He went above and beyond to make my life easier, I told him what I wanted to pay and he made it happen. Never once did I feel like he was pressuring me. I had went there with the intention just to look because I still needed to deal with my other lease and putting new tires on it. He called a tire place for me dealt with putting tires on my old lease & would return the lease for me!!! DEAL! Talk about convenience!!! Bought a used car there and the next day the brakes started squeaking, I then took it into the shop with repairmen I trusted and he said the brakes needed shoes and pads....I called Sheehan and was basically told "tough luck kid, but our car passed inspection." This is actually a review for Sheehan Autoplex, across the street from the GMC dealer. I am an out of state buyer and flew almost 1000 miles from TN to pick up a vehicle. It took a little more time and there was some slight confusion with the salesman, but the manager, Dana Fishbein, went above and beyond to make the deal right. Because of the confusion, he reduced the price of the vehicle and even reimbursed me for my travel. Overall I was treated very fairly and was very happy with the transaction.
