My first time in S&B Angela made product recommendations, she gave me beauty tips, and I was with a friend the appointment was not for me. I knew she was gonna be perfect and my first time in her chair was for a color correction. My vivid blue was turning a yucky color and she gave me low expectations on my outcome of burgundy red, it came out with a beautiful plum tone in it! I love it! She started out by telling me that it may take more than once to get the right color! Well i was in her chair for approximately 90 minutes and she had me fully colored how I wanted and styled! Angela is a hidden gem and incredibly talented. I have frequented many hair salons and have not been this impressed or in love with my hair like I am now!! I showed her the picture of what I was seeking and received exactly that. She is very thorough with her work and does not skip steps which in my opinion, makes a lot of difference. She frequently attends trainings and stays up to date on the latest knowledge and hair techniques which you can see shine through in the quality of her work. She also offers a great hair care line and products that are of pharmaceutical grade quality. I am really impressed all around and I will totally be coming back. If you come here, just make sure you book with Angela. Angela is a true professional. She allows me to stay conservative with simple highlights and lowlights or sometimes she pushes me out of my comfort zone to go for a rose gold! Either way I'm always happy when I leave her salon and I get a million compliments on my hair. She attends a lot of continuing education courses to stay current with the latest trends and techniques. If I could give no stars, I would. My mother and I were getting ready for a trip to Hawaii and wanted to try the Brazilian Blowout to cut down on the amount of time it takes us to straighten our hair everyday. We decided to go all out and add a color and cut. We spent 7 hours in the salon! Why? because our stylist (Skye) had to keep leaving for a smoke break, and telling us her whole life story. A stylist who can make conversation is appreciated, but there is a line when it becomes unprofessional. This was my first time there and I got to hear about all her drama and sex life as if I were one of her closest friends. We sent photos of what we wanted ahead of time so she could ensure she had all the supplies needed. When we arrived she went over everything in detail and walked us through what she would do. I showed her the photo again and said I want it mostly deep chocolate brown with hints of red as in the photo. She showed me a color in a book and said she used that color on her hair. It was a deep purple and her hair had red. She told me that in order to achieve the color I wanted, we would have to do purple to counteract the color I already had. My hair was a deep purplish black originally. I clarified again saying that I want red, not purple and she assured me that is what I would end up with after a couple washes. The photo on the left is what I wanted and the other is after a week. It's definitely still purple. During the cut, she made it a point to show my mother that my hair was uneven before she touched it with the scissors. Maybe she thought that would excuse her if she happened to get it uneven, but it turned out okay. Then it came time to do the blowout. She burned my head several times with the blowdryer broke much of my already thin, brittle hair when she straightened it. When that is done, they are supposed to rinse the product out and apply a masque. This did not happen. We were finally able to get ahold of her and she told us to come by the salon the next day after 2 to pick it up. We live almost an hour away. She left the mask with someone else in the building who said it wasn't a huge deal to leave the product in unless we have small children at home who touched our hair. I am happy with the end result of the blowout, but I have to now go to Hawaii with hair that looks like my 7 year old niece colored it. Not only is it purple, but it's blotchy. I have had a few bad hair experiences, but this is by far the absolute worst!! read more

After desperately trying to find a stylist who I could make conversation with AND who was good at what they did, Angela appeared! Would not recommend!!! I found Shears & Bubbles on Groupon set up an appt with them and messaged back and forth about my daughters hair. I wanted to get a Brazilian Blowout for her Xmas present. I got the reminder text for the appt on Sat the 16th and Angela did a no show, no call, no text. I called her several times and text and waited and got nothing!!! The part that bothers me the most is she knew this was a gift for my daughter and didnt even have the courtesy to let me know she couldnt make it. read more

This is the best salon ever!! I have very dark hair (also very grey) and I see Angela every 4 weeks for color. Stylists have always had trouble getting my hair back to dark without giving me hot roots, making it that weird orange color, or black (which is awful on me). Angela gets it spot on every single time! I also have Perfectress extensions and love them! Angela is a true master of her craft and is an extremely well educated professional.
