Trying not to panic, we started to call around and found a very empathetic person that worked us into the schedule at MOXIE Salon. Moxie employee said they have had several clients of Glo-Out that had a similar experience. (No Show) We received no call or text -no notification of cancellation. Just a CLOSED salon! Very unprofessional! So disappointed!

Very welcoming, love the plants, and I felt like I was a regular immediately! I saw Becca, who was not only super nice, but made sure I was comfortable&asked me many questions on my hair history and type, what I wanted exactly (and what I did NOT want, which is just as important haha). I love the way she cut my hair !! I have never colored my hair before, so Becca gave me a detailed rundown on everything which was very helpful. FYI, everyone here loves to talk to you, which I really appreciated as I love talking lol. Overall, I had a wonderful time getting my hair cut and am definitely coming back for future cuts and for my coloring! Thank you so much honeycomb!!

As a wavy/curly-haired person, I always feel nervous going to a new place for a haircut, but after…read morecoming to Honeycomb four times since moving to Cville, I can definitely say I've found my trusted salon in town! Crystal has talked me through different ideas depending on what I'm feeling and has shaped my hair for both short and long cuts, resulting in manageable hair that works with my waves/curls! And importantly, it doesn't turn into the dreaded triangular poof... I also appreciate that she takes into account what your typical regimen is when cutting your hair (I'm very minimalist aka don't typically style my hair with tools and like to either air dry or throw my hair into a bun); she has given me low maintenance tips on how to manage it that I continue to use. Definitely recommend coming here if you have wavy/curly hair! Note: The front door is a bit hidden between two larger shops so look for the yellow honeycomb sign on the door and go up the stairs and into the left door. They also provide parking validation which is great and you can book appointments online!

The demeanor, professionalism, skill, and techniques are all very impressive. Hannah is a complete joy. She has impeccable attention to detail. I've never walked out of an apt and felt truly sure every single aspect of my service was done to a T, but she does just that. Her skill and kind attitude are the best and made me feel so comfortable. She is an absolute gem and the Studio is lucky to employ her. Estela is a 10 year veteran of the salon. Her personality and diligent work ethic are extremely commendable. I would absolutely suggest requesting her for your hair needs. The brush technique and stylish flair is one I haven't gotten in the most expensive of salons in DC!!!! Remarkable! The salon is a one stop shop. From infrared sauna to blow outs, you could arrive in need some beautifying and leave a model! The chairs are so comfortable and automatic to recline into the bowl. How cool!!
