Branden is a sweetheart-- I'm going to miss him and the rest of Coven...I barely knew you! I moved out of town, but I can't recommend them enough. Great cut, super professional and fun vibe. If you haven't, give them a try! read more

Nick was great with my daughter. Taught us all about what we need to do to keep her curls. It was a great experience. Thank you for being so welcoming. Would recommend read more

Visiting Winchester from Nashville TN. They were able to work me in today and Ace did my hair. She was meticulous and kind. Very nice experience, place has a very good vibe, and this good witch enjoyed her time at the Coven. Highly recommend! read more

The experience was nice. Everyone was mostly friendly. The prices were ridiculous. I wanted to wait to leave a review to see how my hair held up. I spent $450 on matching my ends to my roots so I wouldn't have to maintain my color anymore. I now have a strip across my head showing my roots, my previous blonde, & the color the stylist put on. I don't want to use the stylists name because she was very sweet. The inside was cute and had a good vibe. Otherwise, I won't be coming back. read more

First time client. This is a beautiful salon with a great vibe. Cozy & chic. Everyone was very friendly & relatable. Quinton was incredibly sweet & personable. He listened to my hair issues & gave me a great cut to update my look. The hot towel with aromatherapy & scalp massage was such a relaxing treat, very nice touch! Super pleased with the whole experience & Quinton's skill! read more

It had been a long time since I had a haircut. My hair had become unmanageable and it was beginning to affect my confidence. Now that Calypso cut my hair, i am starting to get my confidence back. In addition, the salon was gracious when I was late to the appointment due to a family emergency. read more

I was in desperate need of a good haircut. My hair has been so different since giving birth and then even more different after the stress of moving across the country. I chose Stephanie, the owner because several reviews compliment her ability to bring out curls. The inside is beautiful and wonderfully goes along with the name! I had no idea that Stephanie was actually the owner! She was very professional and extremely knowledgeable. She passed down some facts that I had no idea about. Which have been very helpful since and now my curls are at their full potential. You can tell that the entire staff enjoys working with each other and has a community that loves them! read more

I can't gush enough about Steph, Raven, and Coven Salon! Not going to lie, I generally have fairly low expectations when I get my hair done. I've only had one other stylist that "got" my hair where I didn't have to immediately go home and redo my hair after a cut. Not only do I not have to do that today, I've already FaceTimed with friends to show off my new found curls!! I knew I had some curls and waves. I had no idea I had this many curls. Not only did Steph bring out the best in my hair, she walked me step-by-step though what she was doing so I can recreate it myself later. In full disclosure, I did give her full rein to do whatever she felt would work best. I showed her a few pics of the types of styles I tend to gravitate to, but told her to show me what works best. And she totally did!!! Raven's scalp massage was amazing!! I could have easily just fallen asleep if the conversations throughout the room weren't so fun and entertaining!! And people stopping by to say hello to the staff...that speaks volumes to their character in my book! What may be just as important though was how inclusive, kind, and friendly the folks here are! It would be easy to literally just stop by and chat with these amazing humans! It is easily one of the most comfortable places I have been in a very long time!! Even though I tend to hate scheduling time to deal with my hair (it's a decently long drive...), I look forward to going in again when it's time to refresh this amazing cut!! Thanks Steph and Raven!!! Y'all are beyond awesome!!! Highly recommend Coven Salon! 10+ stars!! read more

Great coloring and cut by Katilyn. And she gave me great advice as well. Very happy with the results!

Allison did such a wonderful job! Exactly what I wanted and more! I'm sure attached to my hair but I knew I needed a decent chop to get it back to a healthier state. She was able to help me keep more length than I thought and made it such a wonderful and comfortable experience! It's a such cozy and friendly environment and I felt welcome the moment I stepped inside. Can't recommend Coven enough! read more

I've been going to Cierra C for a while now and am very happy with her care for my hair. She listens and somehow makes sense of what I say and then does her magic. Great salon and stylist! read more

Stephanie did an amazing job on my hair, which is wavy and so hard to get a stylist who understands how to cut wavy hair! I was completely at ease the entire appointment and felt she helped put any anxieties to rest and made sure I knew what I wanted. The special touches of a handmade thank you note at the end were one of the many reasons I'll continue to be a customer here read more

Excellent Salon with a modern ,updated salon staff. I searched them out to find a short hair specialist and Quinton definitely exceeds my expectations. I have been coming here for over 6 mos. He gives me a hip haircut that grows out well and I can work with. Thanks Quinton! read more

No wonder they get the "coveted" Best in Winchester! Because they are! Friendly, clean, accommodating & they "pamper"! I went to them originally looking for something "different" amongst the other typical southern styled salons all over Winchester. Coven takes their time. No rush here. All professionals that truly care about their individual customers. I love their openness & caring. Such a beyond cute little shop! read more

Great hair cut and styling--Brendan really listened to what I wanted, and it turned out even better than I was expecting. Three weeks later, I'm still very happy with the cut. read more

Great experience in a comfortable inusive space. The stylist really listened and had helpful ideas for a style that works with my type of hair and ability to style it. I love my cut and will definitely be back. read more

I have been coming to Stephanie (the owner) for about 5 years now. Her work is beyond superior, her level of knowledge in both color and cut have been by far the best I've experienced in my 30 years. I moved four hours away and have made the trip back to her salon because it is simply such a unique and personable experience. Coven creates an atmosphere that makes you feel warm and welcome as well as just comfortable being yourself. Your hair ideas are met with enthusiasm and executed beyond successfully. The salon itself is breathtaking and it even has a Harry Potter themed bathroom! To add to your experience you can also relax with a massage from Stephen or walk out like feeling like a diva after getting wispy doe eyed lashes from Meg. You don't just get a service here, you walk away with a delightful and memorable experience read more

I absolutely love this place so much. Go to Quinton!!! He is so good and cares so much about his clients!!

Working with Stephanie was truly a gift for me on my wedding day.  Not only did she do a fantastic job on my hair and makeup, but she made me laugh the whole time and even got me into my wedding dress!  I was really missing my best friends since they couldn't be with me on the day, but it was all made much easier because of Stephanie's fantastic and caring personality. www.crawley-snyder.com/event-team read more

Stephanie and her team do an excellent job! Not only do they do hair, but they also do makeup! When I got married, I discovered Stephanie and her many talents! Now, she also does a wonderful job with my naturally curly hair!! Do yourself a favor and go check them out! I promise you won't be sorry!! read more

I had the best experience today at coven salon. Steph did my hair and was so sweet and informational. I have curly hair so I have trouble finding someone I really like that can cut it correctly. She did a wonderful job and I'm so happy with my hair. I will be returning!! read more

This is the Best of the best hair salon and I love how my hair came out!!! The first time I got my hair highlights done by Quinton, he is fabulous and very gentle. Today I went for a second time and Breanna take it to a next level!!!! I have a super dark Asian hair and she's able to turn my hair into ashy light gray color which no one was able to do that before. I love the Color of my hair each times and their costumer service is the Best!!! Highly recommended here!!! read more

I can't recommend Coven enough. I'm one of those people that sucks at keeping up with a hair routine- I'll go months without a trim. A friend of mine gifted me an appointment at Coven and I'm not gonna lie- I was nervous. It had been over a year since my hair was cut by a professional and going to a new salon gives me the worst anxiety. Well.... Not at Coven. I was greeted by the sweet Meg and immediately felt at home. Seriously- I've never been more comfortable at a salon (honestly, I could have stayed all day! These people are so much fun!). Ciera was my stylist and she knocked it out of the park. I went from long, stringy hair to an adorable pixie cut with Tons of volume. We also laughed the entire time! I'll never go to another salon again. Coven has a client for life. read more

Great, friendly service and reasonable prices! They do wonderful work and I'm always happy with the haircut they give me.

I haven't been to a professional salon in years. I have an 'edgier' style and most salons want to give me a medium brown bob and send me on my way. Not here. I came in with dry, damaged boring hair and left with the coolest color and cleanest cut I've ever had. No joke. The staff are personable and straight up hilarious. Jessica was my stylist and I would recommend her to anyone. 10/10 will go back. read more

Stephanie does an amazing job with the hair color. She listens to me and then works with me to make sure I get exactly what I want. She has always worked with my schedule to ensure I can make it in when I need to. Meg is so friendly and from what I have seen does a fantastic job. The atmosphere is very comfortable and always welcoming. Copper Top Salon and would highly recommend. read more

I have always been skeptical about trying out a new hair salon due to having curly hair but I had a great experience here. I was helped as soon as I walked into the door and was out in about an hour. It was a satisfying experience overall and would recommend this salon. read more

Steph is the only stylist from here to New York that is qualified to do a Ouidad curly cut and it was amazing. Then after a year of thinking I finally trusted in her to dye my hair blonde and when I say she got the shade perfect she got it PERFECT. I then wanted to go back to my natural color due to personal preference and she helped me out yet again to the EXACT color I asked for and did not charge. She really listens and hears what you're asking for. Not too mention she's so sweet and such an easy person to talk to. I've found my new salon read more

It is so hard to find someone you trust to do your hair. Since moving to Winchester 2 years ago I have never settled with any stylist or salon-- I just was not satisfied 100% with my hair. After my appointment with Stephanie (the owner) at CopperTop Salon, I was sold. She did an AMAZING job on my hair; it hasn't looked this good in YEARS! I trust her 110% with my hair. I have never been so happy with my experience. The staff are so friendly! It's not just your average experience at the salon, they have conversations with you. At other salons, the staff would talk with one another and it would be more of an awkward experience, which made me a bit hesitant to return. I like that Stephanie focused on me, as her client. GREAT job!!!!! I will be returning every 6 weeks, I finally found a Salon I can trust, huge weight lifted off my shoulders. read more

Just had an appointment with Steph and she was great! I read great reviews about her and heard from friends all good things so I called and booked an appointment. I got in with her that week and decided to go back to my natural color and she did an amazing job! She made sure I was comfortable with what she thought was a good way to go about the color and I put complete trust in her. So happy I did! She matched the pictures I brought in and my eye brows perfect. I will definitely be back, and will definitely recommend her to my friends :) read more

Stephanie gave me a really great haircut! I loved it and will be going back. Prices are affordable too! :)

I was traveling through town and needed to find a reputable place to get my hair cut. Stephanie was kind enough to work me in between clients was very kind, professional and made my overgrown hair look great. Thanks read more

The people were extremely rude. They clearly had almost no one in the salon, and were going to be open for another 4 hours, not to mention they do allow walk-ins. They, in so many words, told my friend and I that we wouldn't be able to be seen and gave a bunch of lame excuses. It was definitely discrimination over the way we looked, since we don't look or dress super girly - or perhaps they thought we couldn't afford it. Well, they just missed earning some of the biggest tipping customers in this whole city. Don't set foot in this store if you don't look 100% like a "normal" person, or unfortunately it will be quite embarrassing.. I'll never go here again, and will make sure no one else I know does either. read more

I have been looking for a good place to get a haircut and didn't want to just go to a barbershop. CopperTop is phenomenal. Jessica gave me an awesome haircut, scalp massage, and styled my hair for only $20 (mens haircut). Go here! read more

It took me several months of mourning after moving here knowing that I couldn't see my lash girl anymore, after 2 years of beautiful lashes with her! I couldn't find anyone in the area with great reviews or good pictures of their lash work, I guess the trend hasn't caught on here as fast as at home. I decided to try Coppertop since it was close and they had a few pictures on their facebook. My first visit, Megan did a great job!! They went on without a hitch and lasted a while since I started a new job and couldn't get back in right away. They were a little different than what I had been getting for so long so I mentioned this to Megan and she went out of her way to see if she could find something a little closer to what I had been wearing (not many places in VA do volume lashes at all). My 2nd appt she removed the previous set and placed the new lashes she had for me to try. Much closer to what I had before, I love them! They have great retention so I know she uses good glue. The lashes are soft and don't stick/clump together, they're easy to brush if I sleep weird or my allergies get them sticky. She does great work, I am glad I decided to try her out. Now I need to get my hair done with her and get back to being pretty again! read more
