Oh my gosh, let me start by saying that not only has Jona Finstad been working on may hair for over…read more10 years, but thru those years I have come to know her more and more and she is helpful to everyone she comes across thru her business and spreading out into the community! But to review this salon is super easy! There are a couple of stylists who dont only leave their customers looking beautiful, but I also see the same repeat clients every time I go in! The place is clean, and beautiful, and just a wonderful environment to be in. As far as sending a review for Jona, that's simple! PHENOMENAL! Not only is she amazing at her craft, but she also spreads her love and helpful traits out into the community thru various events from free haircutting events for elderly or homeless, to angel tree events for underprivileged children. But as far as her haircutting and styling, I have been going to her for more than 10 years. She has transformed me from a brunette to a vibranr blonde and everywhere in between. Also, i had a lofe changing accident 4 years ago. Not only have the hospital stays wrecked my hair, but the repetitive visits and meds have made my hair so frazzled and thin that Jona does everything she can to slowly get me back to blonde and treat my hair to make it stronger. This last visit, she not only gave me the cutest hair cuti, but explained to me why going thru the process is healthier than jumping into using all the chemicals to make me instant frizzy blonde. She always thinks of the clients care and needa, therefore making her more of a friend than just a hairstylist. Sorry for the long review, but I haven't done one in a while and I have so much to brag about this salon and staff! 156 thumbs up!

Cat was super kind and she really listened! There was a piece of my hair (due to me letting a friend cut it) that was sitting funny and when I mentioned it, instead of brushing me off telling me "that's just how my hair is" (or something to that effect) she heard me out and worked with me. I had tried another fancy one in the area and had a terrible experience, so I was apprehensive. I knew ahead of time I was asking for something difficult, going from a fashion color to a more natural one... and on the opposite ends of the color spectrum at that. Cherie was polite and professional during our consultation and assured me she could handle it. And boy did she ever. The particular red I want is something I had a very hard time getting back in my home state. I would ask for copper and get auburn, or even mahogany. Cherie aced it on the first try. It is -perfect-. I have zero complaints. She made awesome product suggestions, kept me updated on what she was doing to my hair as she did it, and overall gave me a fantastic experience. In September 2025, the cost for having my lashes done went from $59 to $75. Pretty extreme if you ask me. I voiced my concerns to the owner. Her response was that they are now offering their own line and have more options for their clients. Nothing whatsoever is different about the lashes I am getting, so why the increase? In addition to increasing my charge - no one bothered to let me know ahead of time. I found out when I was checking out. Seriously bad customer service. Then, less than 4 months later they increased the cost AGAIN. Mariah called me the night before my next appointment to let me know because she knew I was very upset with the last increase and not being informed ahead of time. She's a sweetheart and really cares about her clients. Once again, I spoke with the owner about the increase. She told me that Mariah's level was raised so they were compensating her for that increase. Mariah deserved the promotion!!! However I further questioned the owner and expressed my displeasure with the increases. I informed her (since she didn't know and apparently didn't care), that their pricing had increased 44% in just 4 months. I told her that she was making decisions that would obviously impact customers negatively and had she given that any thought. Again, she didn't appear to care. Now, today I open the receipt for my service yesterday.... They charged me for some hairspray and my lashes and I included the tip. Once again to my surprise, a new fee had been added with no notice. I can't even believe they have the audacity to charge it - a "CONVENIENCE TIP FEE" of approximately 5.5% if you put the tip on your credit card. I immediately called and spoke with Layla asking her what the heck was that fee. She told me that they have a new system for checking out and it automatically charges that fee if you tip on a credit card. She did offer that I could avoid that by tipping in cash. My response - YOU'VE GOT TO BE KIDDING ME!!' let me get this straight, your new system charges me in order to pay for the new system? She then asked if I'd like to speak with the owner. I told her no because she continues to charge her customers for anything she chooses without any regard for or any communication to the customers and couldn't care less. I will be submitting this review anywhere and everywhere I can over the next couple of days. It's a shame that she doesn't care that Mariah has now lost another client due to her poor management and business ethics. Done and done
