Literally all of the girls here are amazing. Between me and my daughter we have used everyone up there for at least one service. As someone with very thick, course hair (Italian X Lebanese) I cannot emphasize enough how much of a game changer getting a Brazilian Blowout with Amara has been though. Even with layers/thinning my hair out, it used to take ALL DAY to air dry and it would be poofy and uneven (wavy some places, straight-ish on top, frizzy everywhere) OR I could spend 2.5 hours to blow dry it and then another 45 to straighten it (because even blow drying it didn't stop the "poofing"). After getting a Brazilian I can air dry in about 45 mins and it's so smooth that I don't even HAVE to straighten it unless I just want it extra, extra sleek. The icing on the cake though, I went to Disney in Florida in March (high 90's with 100% humidity) and even with a light sprinkle getting on it (and pounds of sweat) at the end of the day I didn't have ANY frizz. tldr: everyone is great but if you have thick hair get a Brazilian Blowout by Amara and change your life read more

I had such a great time and experience while I was there, very affordable, and such a cute and cozy place. All the staff was super friendly! I had the pleasure of getting my hair transformed by Ashleigh! I found her through Instagram, and right away I fell in love with her work, she communicated with me very well and fast! I gave her some inspo pictures and she suggested ideas and I agreed and sure enough she worked her magic on me and I couldn't be anymore happier with the outcome! I love that when I was in the chair getting my hair done she was super comfortable to talk with and it felt like I had known her from before. Amara is AMAZING! I have been going to her for probably a couple years now and she kills it every time. I have naturally curly hair that is very frizzy and she does beautiful cuts on my hair and I loved it every single time. I've recently been getting Brazilian Blowouts done by her and I am in love with the results! She definitely knows what she's doing, explains every single step, and really gets her clients input and feedback before doing anything to your hair, down to measuring the length of hair she's about to cut to show you just how much/little is coming off. I've referred her to multiple people with different hair types and they've loved her as well. I really would not trust anyone else with my hair. They have amazing stylists all around, but I've been seeing Christy for a couple of years now and she's absolutely fantastic! I've had a handful of experiences with my thick, curly, temperamental hair, but she's an absolute scientist and it's amazing every time I leave. She's honest and will talk you through realistic expectations and processes. She is so skilled in coloring! Also, got big plans and need to look flawless? Have Christy do your makeup! I'm blown away by the service I received at 202 Beauty Salon. I went in for a consult last week and met with Maria. She listened to my concerns and walked me through the plan for my hair. Went in for the appointment yesterday and was immediately tended to. The staff is amazing from the front desk to the stylists working around me. The shop is clean and the atmosphere is relaxing. Maria was very knowledgeable and gentle with my hair. I've been covered in gray for the longest time but now I'm back to my natural color and I adore it. I would highly recommend this shop. Compared to any other salon experience i've had this is definitely one of the best! So far ive had two sessions and intend to keep coming for all my hair needs. As soon as you walk in you can feel how welcoming the atmosphere is. My stylist, Alyssa, was not only kind and accommodating but also easy to make conversation with. The vibes of the salon are great - really nice on the inside, good music playing, always offered wine, all the girls are so friendly, etc. Katie Barnum is my go-to girl for Brazilian wax and hair color, cut and style. She always makes my waxing experience so easy and pleasant, and I leave there absolutely loving my hair every time! Amara is AMAZING. She was super careful to make sure we both were on the same page about what I wanted done and she was so clear on setting expectations for what was achievable in our session. I am so lucky to have found Maria! She is not only kind and sweet, but she is amazing with hair!! When I wanted to transition from brunette to red, Maria was able to do so and still maintain the integrity of my hair, which is not easy to do on already color-treated hair.
