I'm not one to make or bake any snacks so places like CeCe Patisserie is the place for me as they're located in Pearl Kai which is right across from Pearlridge Center and with lots of free parking the convenience is very easy and you can find them right behind Jiffy Lube. Walking in the vibe is so festive and bright with a staff who I believe is a family friend was such a delight describing just about everything in the shop and not missing a beat it was so difficult to decide and I needed quite a bit of snacks...6 to be exact and not refrigerated so it did illuminate a few which made the choices much easier for me. After much browsing it was the tub of Chex Mix as it came in Hurricane, Ranch, Tajin or Everything Bagel seasoning. Love the various flavors and I got three of Hurricane and Everything Bagel and with multiple purchase there was a little discount that's really appreciated :) There was quite a bit of baked goods many are a bit more sensitive and wished they had more of the snacks as they do make great gifts as well but there are cupcakes, banana bread, brownies and cheesecake...so many options is incredible. I just so happened to be on Facebook Marketplace when Avi posted pound cakes for sale. At first I scrolled past it not wanting to make a rash and delicious decision so quickly but a couple minutes later I found myself replying to their add with an order (LOL). The process was seamless. You order by Wednesday afternoon or per their post. Then on Friday, the day of pickup, they start baking it and you pick up at their home in Ewa Beach between 5-5:30 or whatever time you arranged with Avi. By the way, all conversation is made via text. Very helpful for people like me since my phone is almost always on silent due to work and I check it when I can. She let me know that my order was ready via text with all the details. When we arrived to pick it up, Avi was so sweet and quick with everything! My husband spent the cash we had on hand, but Avi was very accommodating when I asked if I could via Apple Pay. She even pin dropped (for you iPhone people) where her location was so that we could find her home easily (and good thing she did that because the GPS took us to a different house). Anyway, we get our pound cakes and my husband - who was SO adamant he didn't want any because he's watching his calories (haha) immediately - and I kid you not - the moment he closes his door he opens the Ube pound cake and starts snacking on it. He loved it so much he ate half on the way home (LOL). Honestly it tasted so good I wish I ordered more! The Strawberry and Ube were just amazing!!! I had a frightening and dangerous experience with the Crumbl Pearl City location…read more I ordered the Biscoff Thins cookie but received the Dubai Chocolate Double cookie instead. I have a tree nut allergy, and the Dubai cookie contains pistachio. After eating it, I had a serious allergic reaction and had to go to urgent care. I am still recovering from the physical effects. What made the situation even worse was the response afterward. A Crumbl online customer service associate initially told me that the cookie did not contain nuts, even though Crumbl's own allergen information identifies tree nuts. Emma, the Pearl City store manager, initially told me that she would speak with the staff. I was later offered a four-pack of cookies. A four-pack is not an appropriate response to giving a customer the wrong product, exposing them to a known allergen, causing a reaction that required urgent medical care, and then providing incorrect allergen information. I understand that customers with allergies must be careful, but I did not order the cookie that contained pistachio. I relied on Crumbl to give me the product I purchased. This was not a minor inconvenience. It was a serious food safety failure that could have had a much worse outcome. Crumbl corporate has said that the matter is being investigated, but their initial responses did not fully address the medical harm, ongoing symptoms, or seriousness of what happened. I am sharing this because customers with food allergies need to know how carefully they must check every item they receive from this location.

I've always wanted to come the these anniversary specials. I was finally able to. I arrived at 8am the line long as expected. Shortly after one of their helpers came around and handed boxes out to put our pastries in. Which was nice to get in advance. They also went around and passed out ice cold water. My mission was to get a few jumbo (filled with a good amount of red bean my favorite.) and Hokkaido Anpan's which I did. It was freshly baked, warm and delicious! If you're an Anpan connoisseur. I highly recommend BRUGS Bakery. There was a limit of 12 pastries per person. I really was going to buy a few Anpan but since it took me 1 hour and 50 mins to get into the store. I did purchase the limit of 12 pastries. lol Okay... So would I do this again?? Probably not. BUT I will continue support & return for their Jumbo & Hokkaido Anpan's though out the year.
