At 6:45 this morning, Tuesday,…read moreI was really discouraged and frustrated with so many shopping with a complete disregard for the necessary 6 foot safety protocol. There were not too many people to make this possible. A store employee name tag, pink sweater, breezed by me- perhaps 2 1/2 feet from me and I asked if she saw me? She laughed and replied, " I walk by people all day long", with another little laugh. I suppose some become angry, if they have to be there and if their exposed, you're exposed. A store supervisor approached several shoppers while bagging, easily within 2 feet, actually bumping into one customer. My take away is that is my risk to come here. My cashier was professional, fast and courteous. I thanked her for her service. I want to thank everyone trying their best to do what is right. I wish them good health and safety.

It's tremendously clean! It's extremely well stocked! It's an easy to navigate floor plan! The produce is beautiful looking! The cheese area is abundant and beautifully maintained! People shopping here are neighborly to each other! Seriously, it's a very nice store. Sure, I'm one of those people who prefers the segregation of my Nature's Place organic and natural foods into their own area, but they do a solid job at clearly identifying the sections among the aisles that are home to those products. I will admit: I've never been here during the middle of summer, so maybe it is a lot more hectic and chaotic here. But your busy Hannaford during July is the Hannaford on Forest Ave in Portland 24/7/365, so perspective. No, the parking lot isn't the best of the Hannaford parking lots (I'd say Westbrook and Lewiston have those) - mostly because the entrance/exit is a bit constricted; and, inside, there could be more aisles open when cashing out, but I appreciate that the Self Checkouts were all working and moved quickly. All in all, Yarmouth is lucky to have such a nice Hannaford!

The pharmacy is prompt and you can be in and out pretty quickly. The pharmacists are incredibly nice and go out of their way to make sure that you know what you are getting and what the medication your getting entails. As far as the store, because it's compact, it can seemed stuffed with items, however, the staff keeps it organized and they keep it clean. If you are looking for a pharmacy in the Portland area or you need something quick to pick up, this CVS is definitely a great option.

Of course there is a pharmacy and the usual assortment of over the counter medications and remedies. But the rest of the store is an explosion of toys, junk food, clothes, booze, beach thingies and souvenirs. Many things seem to be just randomly put where ever there is room but this method seems to work just fine. Just walk around and you will eventually find what you are looking for. Colonial is definitely a beast from the past that managers to survive in the world of modern, sanitized and organized drugstores, probably because of the beachy and touristy environment of Kennedbunkport. A pleasant and very cool place that will probably have what you are looking for.

And later as I'm walking around, I notice all the business say no bathroom on the outside of their door. Not even if you're a customer. A lot of homelessness that has made it difficult for paying customers to use the bathrooms. It's sad, cause I had done hours of walking around Old Port and Portland area, and there's no place to go to the bathroom. Times have changed
