When we wandered into this establishment, we were met with wonderful employees, and a little puddle next to the ice cream machine. I stepped in the puddle, but it was not enough to moisten my shoe. I fear that an old lady could slip however. I wanted a slushie, and all of the machines were marked readily available. The machines however, lied. We got a cola slushie and a grape one but for both, they were half unflavored ice and half sauce. No slushie, rather the components separated. Blasphemous. Walked in kind of expecting just a basic store and found so much more. First, the selection of baked goods - oh my! We noticed bagels, baguettes, breads, muffins - so many to choose from. The store seems to have a bit of everything; wine in coolers, craft beers, ready-made soups to take home and heat, books, gifts. I mean, what more could you want? We ordered two sandwiches to go - since we hadn't planned to stay (although there was table space once the lunch rush cleared out). I had a club sandwich on white sourdough. Wayne opted for a special; the Italian Italian. It was full of meat, cheese, and so much more. I am looking forward to returning - maybe for a breakfast sandwich and a latte - people there were raving about the coffee selections; many of them holiday-themed.

I ordered the brisket on a toasted roll, Eric got a sandwich. One of the crew ordered the daily special, one had a couple slices. Everyone had ordered, paid and was outside waiting and I was still wandering around seeing if I wanted something to go with it (chips-drink-etc) and the woman behind the register rudely tells us to wait outside and they'll bring it to us when it's ready. I open the brisket sandwich and the brisket is gray in color. I was still kinda hopeful that it would be good but it was so dry. I added some mayo and even that didn't add moisture to it. The roll had been grilled at some point and had a crust but it tasted extremely stale and was kinda hard to bite into as a whole sandwich so I tried eating just the brisket with mayo. Sadly I tossed the bread out and after smelling it the dog picked it up and even he couldn't chew n tear the roll for a bite. For a crew who was hungry and excited we all wound up hungry and Sadly disappointed, especially considering the prices ($11.99 for a brisket sandwich on a burger bun) ($11.99 daily special sub) We won't be going back and we're definitely glad about that. It's a bit pricey for the food you get and the rudeness is unacceptable especially when you are dealing with the public. Good luck to the customers though
