My first experience was a catering order for a large group at a Christmas party, and everyone couldn't stop raving about the flavor and quality of the food. Everything was cooked to perfection. The salad, potatoes, chicken, gyro, and rice were all outstanding. When I went in to pick up the order, I immediately noticed how clean and well-kept the restaurant was. It's clear the owners take great pride in their place. The two guys working the front (probably the owners) were extremely polite and a pleasure to deal with. A couple of weeks later, I brought my family in for lunch, and once again, the experience was excellent. They treated us like family. Firstly- the service was extremely slow (we waited for about 20 mins before being spoken to). Once we ordered our two meals (gyro dinner meal and chicken shawarma meal) we were informed there was no more rice. When we asked when it would be ready we were told not for at least 30 mins. We decided to just have an extra helping of potatoes instead. As we were waiting we noticed the microwave going for 3 mins. Once the microwave finished, they pulled the potatoes out of it (in a styrofoam container) and dumped it into our meals. The microwave was practically on the floor and we were pretty annoyed that they didn't even cook the potatoes fresh. None the less we paid and took the food home. As we were eating it my husband found pieces of bone, spine and cartilage in his chicken shawarma. It was a very disappointing experience and we didn't even up eating half of our food. The first time we ate there the food was great (hence the 2 stars). Now we won't be back.
