    Koobideh

I went here with a few friends on a Saturday night. It wasn't busy at all, we had no problem getting a table for 5. I had the koobideh which is beef kabob with saffron infused rice. It was good. I didn't like how for the price they didnt include more than one side and I had to pay extra for the borani which is a cucumber dip. The whole meal was pricey for the amount you received. For 2 meals it was about 40-45$. The service was great and the restaurant is clean. I would go back here if you got more bang for your buck. For an eatery located in the McMaster student area, I expect more affordable student prices.

Nannaa fries and Nannaa Iced Green Tea

Came here as a study break to have a snack and chat with a friend. Wasn't super hungry so didn't get to try the main courses available and I'm not too familiar with Persian food either. Decided to get the Nannaa fries and Nannaa Iced Green Tea. The aioli that came with the fries was pretty good although a bit sour. The sourness added a taste to the fries which was different than what I've had before. The green tea was good but wasn't super special, the fries was given in a decent portion the drink was a bit small though.

Decided to come with my Iranian friend on a whim. She very much enjoyed it and found it quite authentic. It was quite unique and nothing like I've had before. However, it is not my particular taste. The service and decor is great though. Definitely a spot you could come for a nice chat with friends, family, or a date. Very comfortable seating. You order at the counter and get your own cutlery/water, but the staff will serve your food for you.

Save your money. This place has Bad food, see my pic. 19$ for cut of meat and small salad. 0/5 is not allowed but this place deserves 0. I have had same exact meal for around 18-22$ at more than 5 restaurants in GTA , I've never seen such a horrible version. They are new, it's a shame they are so bad.

The chicken tachin is amazing but may be sold out in the evening.

Not sure why the low score. It's a solid kebab and a very nice interior. A bit pricey but Westdale is becoming like that.

We peeked inside. It was busy and with quite a few Persians. We decided to try it. I am so glad that we tried it. Everything that we ordered was outstanding. We got the Rayhoon trio sampler, Addas Palo, and lamb shank. The trio sampler was basically 3 different dippings and came with a basket of bread. The owner was very nice. While we were enjoying the food, he walked up and greeted. He explained how we could use the trio sampler to enjoy the entrees which really made it even better. Following the suggestion, I put a little bit of lamb sauce over the rice and put a little bit of yogurt sauce over a small piece of lamb, then ate them all in one spoon.... It was amazing!

Mom got her Graham Canyon, and Casey got the Dairy Free Peanut Butter and Cookies. Now my eyes were immediately drawn to the Afghanistan Sheer Yahk. Something I've never heard of, and I like to try new things. The nice gentleman at the window explained it's like frozen milk. And it was, but it was so much more amazing than just that. It's frozen regular, dry, and condensed milk with some saffron, cardamon, pistachios, and a little bit of rose water. I know it sounds a little strange, but it was honestly one of the best things I've ever eaten. The rose water isn't overpowering, and I enjoyed the new flavor. The whole dish was icy, sweet, and yet has a warm taste from the cardamon. I could have easily eaten a medium, and I'm so sad I only got a small. That's my bad. We didn't try the kabobs, but I bet if they are half as good as the Afghanistan ice cream, they will be awesome. I will happily make the hour drive from Great Valley to come back and try their actual food when it's available and get a larger size Sheer Yahk for sure.
