situated in the corner of a small strip-ish mall is this wonderful tiny persian restaurant. the interior has a few tables and seats, plain white walls, and no decorations. the staff were polite and friendly.
the menu features classic persian meat and stew dishes, all served alongside a hearty portion of fluffy and lightly-delicious chelo (rice), and complete with tahdig (the crispy rice that sticks to the bottom of the cookware). the kabab koobideh seems like the most simple item on the menu, and is a well-seasoned, nicely-cooked tender beef kabab. i also ordered the ghormeh sabzi, a meat and kidney bean stew with a variety of herbs as the base, and thought it was rich and very flavourful.
