My friend that I go with. She gets the big platter with all the meats and hummus, tabouli, pita bread tzatziki the tzatziki is the best I've ever tasted made fresh. The service Mo is the best he's been in this business a long time and the man knows what he's doing. I had Patty melt. He mixes the patty with all the special ingredients they put in his special meats. It's 100% better tasting than any hamburger patty. I've ever had 8 ounces tender, juicy and flavorful, he puts sliced fresh mushrooms, grilled grilled onions, cheese, and his special maid hamburger patty he brought me as a surprise a side of tabouli flavors in the tabouli was out of this world, and I don't like tabouli, but there you go. The ambience in the place is very laid-back. The owner is a wonderful cook hands-down the best Mediterranean restaurant I have ever been to and I'm 68 years old and live from one coast to the other. Do yourself a favor and go see Mo at Persia Mediterranean restaurant at 2615 E. 11th St. you won't be disappointed.

Small but they keep the place clean. One of the recommendations from this place is the cabbage roll. It was HUGE, and you won't be able to find any bigger cabbage rolls in town. Taste-wise, I wasn't too impressed. It tasted kind of bland for me, not enough flavors, with a lot more rice in it. The Tawook is supposedly their specialty marinated grilled chicken. Again, it tasted okay, and had more flavors than the cabbage roll. Could have been more moist and tender. Could definitely have been more "grilled." The chicken came out looking white with not much grill marks on them. I feel like there are other Mediterranean restaurants in Tulsa with better food. However, the owner was nice and the place was clean.

Taziki's had daily specials & as for Wednesday, it was the Spanakopita Roll-Up. Grilled chicken, feta & blanched spinach inside of a grilled tortilla with a side of salsa. It also comes with chips (I had baked pita) & a side, which I picked the roasted potatoes. Even though I had a late lunch, the dish was the epitome of one. Holding me over until I got home with the 4 roll-ups. The salsa was good, my favorite kind - salsa taquera. Their baked pita would go well with hummus, I found out after the fact that they have Spicy Harissa Hummus that I'd like to try. The roasted potatoes were well seasoned with slightly crispy edges. You walk up to the front to place your order. The person who took my order was really nice. The food didn't take long. There's nowhere to leave your trash, they come pick it up for you. I plan on coming back, especially for the hummus.

I ordered the Greek salad and spouse ordered the Mediterranean salad. Got my salad ok. They brought spouse a chicken sandwich and a side salad. Not what she ordered. Went on website to search nutrition info. My salad had 850mg of sodium and Sharon's sandwich/salad combo had over 2,000. My salad was tasty and Sharon said hers was also tasty. But we're still trying to find decent low-sodium offerings in restaurants.
