Stopped by to pick up food for the family. I'm glad I did! The place itself is small, but clean. They do have a good amount of seating inside. Staff was all very kind. The food is clearly made fresh because it did take about 15 minutes to get my food after I placed the order. I ordered two different combo platters to try different meats along with a side of falafel and tabouli. All of the different meats were incredible and very juicy/well cooked. The rice was well seasoned and cooked appropriately. The hummus and baba ghanoush on the sides were also very flavorful. The tabouli was extremely fresh and even lasted a couple days in the fridge. The falafel was very well cooked. My biggest complaint and honestly only complaint, is that when you order falafel no sauce comes with it. Their sauces are kind of expensive and with this type of food the sauce is absolutely necessary. I would definitely come back but just mentally prepared to pay a lot of money for sauce on the side.

I look forward to every trip to Shawarma House. I always get the Beef Shawarma in the laffa wrap. It is delicious. The food is well-prepared and consistently good. I will be back soon.

Im just going to say this about this place. BIG FAN. I love a place that gives you a ton of food and they deliver. It helps when the food is also delicious. The place itself is clean and has a cool color contrast inside. They served me right when I got in and got me in and out with my food to go. Cheers!

    Not fresh at all.

I called for takeout and was told to hold on. I think they just set the phone down and forgot about me. I called back two or three minutes later and no one said anything I could hear people talking in the background and was either put on hold or disconnected. I called back a third time and was able to place my order. The new menu item is labeled as "lamb chops" which is commonly confused with Rack of lamb. The pictures on the menu and on the restaurant wall shows sliced lamb, ribs, "rack of lamb". It is lamb chops. It was very overcooked. I watched them cook it. The lobby was freezing cold. I was told for my take out order, " ready in 15, 20,...30 minutes". I arrived 15 minutes later and was told "ready in 5, 10, 15 minutes." I waited 20 minutes more. The person cooking my food came to the lobby/dining room, sat down on a bench and began praying. I have no problem with this other than the fact that my food was extremely overcooked. Lamb was extremely salty and overcooked. The Israeli salad was wilted and not fresh at all. Needs some major work.

Very clean inviting place. More modern look. More seating space inside than I thought. The chicken had a unique flavor and was very filling! The service was fast and friendly. All of our questions were answered and the food was brought to our table after we ordered.

We stopped here after a hike out in Kettle Moraine - we were hungry! There were six adults, two of them were hungry college students. It was a Saturday evening and there was plenty of parking outside. We walked in and looked at the menu and ended up ordering the giant platter for 6 people, which includes 3 kinds of meat, rice, salad, hummus, baba ghanouj, falafels, garlic sauce, tahini, hot sauce, and pita bread. Without seeing how much it would be, I wasn't sure if it would be enough, but we ended up going home with leftovers and everyone had plenty to eat. You place an order up at the front with the desk, then sit down. They brought our food over when it was ready (but there are no servers). I noticed that there were a brisk number of to-go orders, and a few patrons were sitting down. The rice was tasty, we all liked the falafels, and the chicken. It was a good amount of food and a good, tasty meal. I remembered to take photos after we already started digging in, but this gives an idea of what the tray looked like and get an idea of the quantity. The decor and atmosphere was a little sparse; it could use a little warming up a little. I'd come here again.

Love stopping here when we are looking something different. We got the Shawarma platter and falafel. The staff was great and brought out the food. It was pretty busy for it being 3 o'clock which was good to see.

This was the first time that I have been to this place and it was absolutely amazing!! The food was so fresh and delicious, also didn't have to wait long for it. You can dine in or pick up to take home. They give you a generous amount of food, so much that I have dinner for tomorrow night! They an excellent selection for vegetarian meals and can also have gluten free, just ask them to hold the pita bread. I chose the falafel with basmati rice, hummus, salad and I also had a side of babaganoush. The food was fast, fresh and delicious. Others had the Gyros plate and chicken sandwich Everyone was happy and left the restaurant with their leftovers in a container. They of course had baklava which I'm sure was delicious but I was full. The staff was so nice and friendly and attentive to everyone. Highly recommend this restaurant!

Probably the best lamb I've had in a long time. The food is great, the staff are friendly and it's overall an inviting experience.

Ask the Community - Shawarma House

Is this like Halal Guys? I am looking for an item similar to the Halal Guys Chicken Gyro platter.

It's similar, yes. I recently ordered their All Inn Shawarma, which I would say is similar to the chicken gyro platter.

When I'm in the Brookfield area shopping I prefer to make a stop here. I love Mediterranean style food so it hits the spot! Details below are all positive. No complaints. 1. Food I ordered a falafel bowl with plenty of fresh toppings. Everything tasted very fresh. As always the vegetables were crisp. Please get the pickles they add a nice flavor. I ordered a pita on the side, instead of a sandwich because I feel you get more for leftovers! Lol! The pita was soft and so good! The falafel itself tasted freshly made and had a good texture. Not too crumbly or stiff. I did take off one star because they had some type of Moroccan red sauce and the staff members were unable to let me know if there was dairy in the sauce and there were no details of the sauce on their allergen card displayed near the food. 2. Service The service was fast and straightforward. The staff was kind and efficient. They didn't wow me or respond with "my pleasure" after every request/question but their kindness was exactly what you want in a build your own type of restaurant. 3. Price and Process The pricing is reasonable. I would compare it to a Qdoba or Chipotle. Anywhere from $10-15 depending on what you select and add. They're set up very similar as well. Tell them your entree, pick your base, veggies, and sauces. They have fries too but I don't go there for fries! 4. Cleanliness & Atmosphere Overall, the restaurant looked fine. Nothing stood out as overly impressive and I didn't have any concerns either. The trash was a little full, but they were busy when I visited. There was an entire basketball team dining inside with a coach bus parked out front. That's probably why the trash was full. Now, to answer your question. Yes! I would absolutely return! Next time I day shop in the area I will get another bowl! And yes you should visit as well. I'm mean if you're tired of fast food burgers and burrito bowls and want something quick and fresh! Go! It's probably the closest thing we have to CAVA here in Wisconsin. It's worth trying.

The store has fresh produce and meat counter with refrigerated and dry items. I would order the mixed grill that the menu states 1 lamb kofta, 1 lamb of kebab, 0skewer chicken shish tawook , bed of rice and a side of Jerusalem salad and hummus. I love lamb. I thought it was weird that the mixed grill had lamb kabobs and lamb kofta when these items are no where on the menu and lamb chops were the only lamb on the menu, let's go for it. The plate looked amazing and they got most of the dish correctly with the salad and hummus being cold and the grilled meat and rice being warm. The hummus was delicious but I wish the grilled meat dishes came with some sort of bread to dip in it. The salad was minimal with cucumbers, tomatoes and lettuce in a vinaigrette dressing. The rice was cooked past Al dente but not total mush with a nice curry flavor and good. The lamb kabob had a nice beefy/grilled flavor, it was not a lamb kabob that I was served but a beef kabob. The lamb kofta was a moist flavorful beef kofta and not lamb like the menu states. The chicken kabob was moist/flavorful with small grilled flavor and the only correct grilled meat that the menu states. Overall the food was very good that I drove all the way out to Brookfield for a specific grilled lamb dish that ended up being a beef dish was very disappointing, I should have known better when the two lamb items were not even on the menu. I don't know if this was an honest mistake or they thought I wouldn't know the difference because of ethnicity or were they out of lamb that day and who knows. I love lamb and I eat lamb all the time. Had the dish actually have been a lamb dish it would have been a 4 star review.

I have newly moved to the Milwaukee area from Metro Detroit (home to the largest Arab population outside of the Middle East) and therefore not only did I grow up with great food our restaurant options have always been elite. If I seem nitpicky I'm sorry but let's get to it! I got the mixed grill plate, Turkish salad, and a lentil soup. Highlights: the shish tawook was perfect, juicy, not over cooked, the kafta loaded with flavors, the hummus was solid, I loved the bed of rice it was on, and the soup delicious... "so T, what happened to the half star?" This is where I might be overly critical... the chopped veggie salad was in dire need of salt, or consider dressing it with the jalapeño mix that was on the hummus. The Turkish salad put me in quite a conundrum... was it delicious? Oh hell ya, was it spicy? Yes (inject it my veins), so what's the issue? My issue here was just that it wasn't a salad. It was an excellent salsa, but I didn't have chips to eat it with and this isn't a "salad" you can eat by itself. If they had fried the Arabic bread and seasoned it like the fattoush chips and gave me a bag of it with the Turkish salad that might be the greatest combo known to Milwaukee. Finally, the only true criticism of this place, the beef kabobs... flavor was amazing, it was tender too but it was severely overcooked. I don't blame the restaurant because as an Lebanese person I grew up with way too many over cooked bbqs and aunts and uncles thinking red meat was blood despite eating kibbee nayee (beef tartar-Lebanese style) but if that had two minutes less on the grill it might have the holy grail of mixed grill plates. All of this to say I was very impressed, Milwaukee has some good spots and I wasn't sure what to expect when I moved here but this place does it for me, will probably make it a rotational spot
