Recently visited NafNaf and had a good experience as always. If you want something quick, but you don't want traditional served between a bun fast food or taco bowls visit NafNaf! When I'm in the Brookfield area shopping I prefer to make a stop here. I love Mediterranean style food so it hits the spot! Details below are all positive. No complaints. 1. Food I ordered a falafel bowl with plenty of fresh toppings. Everything tasted very fresh. As always the vegetables were crisp. Please get the pickles they add a nice flavor. I ordered a pita on the side, instead of a sandwich because I feel you get more for leftovers! Lol! The pita was soft and so good! The falafel itself tasted freshly made and had a good texture. Not too crumbly or stiff. I did take off one star because they had some type of Moroccan red sauce and the staff members were unable to let me know if there was dairy in the sauce and there were no details of the sauce on their allergen card displayed near the food. 2. Service The service was fast and straightforward. The staff was kind and efficient. They didn't wow me or respond with "my pleasure" after every request/question but their kindness was exactly what you want in a build your own type of restaurant. 3. Price and Process The pricing is reasonable. I would compare it to a Qdoba or Chipotle. Anywhere from $10-15 depending on what you select and add. They're set up very similar as well. Tell them your entree, pick your base, veggies, and sauces. They have fries too but I don't go there for fries! 4. Cleanliness & Atmosphere Overall, the restaurant looked fine. Nothing stood out as overly impressive and I didn't have any concerns either. The trash was a little full, but they were busy when I visited. There was an entire basketball team dining inside with a coach bus parked out front. That's probably why the trash was full. Now, to answer your question. Yes! I would absolutely return! Next time I day shop in the area I will get another bowl! And yes you should visit as well. I'm mean if you're tired of fast food burgers and burrito bowls and want something quick and fresh! Go! A solid fast-casual middle eastern food place. The menu provides a nice variety of flexible options - much like Chipotle - between pitas, plates and bowls. The falafel bowl is my go-to vegetarian dish of choice and it hits the mark each time I dine here. Service is always speedy and I appreciate being reminded of the added cost of things like hummus before checking out. I really wish hummus was included, at least a small scoop on top of any order. I'll also mention that sometimes when I stop in there's a lot of ingredients out so be prepared to wait for a fresh batch of steak or French fries (yum!)!or be prepared to get those last few bits still hanging out and who knows how long they've been there. We walked in literally 10 minutes before closing and honestly I would have been totally OK if they were like we cannot serve you because it was like I said 10 minutes before closing so we asked you if we could order - they were like of course and told us what was still available I don't know. The plate was not big enough for all the different foods that came with my plate lunch, so cucumber salad was mixed with my hummus and purple cabbage over my rice. 6. The Basmati rice tasted like chicken Rice-A-Roni and was very salty, but lacked a Middle Eastern flavor. I have never dined at a fast casual Middle Eastern restaurant before and have eaten at fine Middle Eastern restaurants in cities across the U.S. and the Middle East as well. But, I was in a hurry and needed to eat. So, my expectations may by too high. My recommendation is to try it and judge it for yourself. It's certainly not authentic, but I would not expect that for a fast casual. I will not be back, but clearly based on ratings a lot of people live it. read more

I can't believe I've been missing out on this place for five years--I stumbled upon reviews for it when searching lunch options and I'm so happy I went while in the area today. It was between meal times AND a football Sunday afternoon so I had no wait in line. I immediately stated it was my first time eating there and then man was so friendly as he explained what things were and the ways you could order. Super quick and easy ordering--it's like chipotle/qdoba where they assemble your choices right in front of you. My bowl was huge, you could get two sauces for the side, and a pita came with it--all for about $10! I couldn't wait to get home to try that pita and I can't believe I didn't cave and eat the full thing on my ride home ;) My bowl was flavorful (chicken Schwarma, rice, cucumber/tomato salad, pickles, garlic sauce and another sauce if which I don't recall the name) and I've easily got my lunch for tomorrow. Great news!! Naf Naf in Brookfield is reopening Monday, May 10th! I have been not-so-patiently waiting for this location to reopen and I'm so happy that day is here! They offered a sneak peek for Naf Perks members and I got a free lunch entree. Pretty good perks program, if you ask me! They had some dine in tables available with others marked off for spacing. Many seemed to get their orders to go. The staff did a great job of slinging up lunch orders quickly while the line of people went through. It probably took no more than 5 -7 minutes for me to grab lunch to go. The pita is warm and fluffy and the steak basmati bowl was on point. Can't wait to add this back into the rotation for takeout! I'm so sad this isn't closer to home. I would stop at this place a few times a month for sure. I've had the food from this place catered at parties and I finally stopped by the restaurant for lunch yesterday. Oh my gosh. It is the epitome of really good food that actually taste healthy and doesn't leave you feeling like you have a carb baby on the way. It's so so good. I'm so upset that they don't have any by my house. I'm going to email the restaurant and tell them to build some by my house. I'm sure I will get nowhere but I have to at least try, right? I'm always on the lookout for flavorful fast casual eats and Naf Naf serves up just that. My go-to order is their falafel bowl. Beginning with their basmati rice base, they add 5 pieces of their freshly made falafel, and then your choice of other toppings. I typically go for their cucumber salad, hummus, and garlic sauce. My dining companion also likes to add their cabbage and tahini. Their bowls come with pita bread as well, which is fluffy, warm, and delicious. I've tried their baklava as well, which is solid. Naf Naf is a fun eating experience that is back open now in Brookfield. It is like a Qdoba/chipotle but for middle eastern food like shawarma, falafel, pickles, couscous/rice, hummus/baba ghannouj, etc. The food at Naf Naf is bright, unique, and extremely tasty. I have tried the chicken shawarma and the chicken schnitzel. The schnitzel is an amazing fried chicken cutlet which is delicious and crunchy. That's best to be eaten right away so if you are taking it to-go maybe consider eating in the store or getting it in a separate container so it doesn't get soggy. I also love to get the couscous - its delicious. All the toppings they have are very fresh and delicious. They have several salads/veggie toppings (onion, purple cabbage, cucumber salad, pickles) and several delicious sauces to top your bowl with. They have a delicious garlic sauce which is similar to the white sauce at halal guys. They also have a green sauce which is spicy but so flavorful with cilantro. And it's not that spicy, I'd give it a 4/10 spice level. Also, you don't have to stick with a bowl, you can build your own sandwich at Naf Naf too, and their freshly baked pita bread is soooo deliciously fluffy. Not to worry - if you get a bowl, a freshly baked pita automatically comes on the side of your bowl! You first pick either a pita or a bowl (If you get a bowl, you'll also get a pita on the side, win win!) and then choose a base (basmati rice, lettuce, couscous, or hummus). Then on to a protein (chicken shawarma, steak, or falafel). I always go for the chicken shawarma. It's very flavorful and full of seasoning. Next comes the garnishes (pickles, onions, purple cabbage, and chopped salad). I normally get them all but get the pickles on the side. Now time for the best part, the SAUCE. There is tahini, garlic sauce, amba, harissa, and skhug. You can never go wrong with the garlic sauce, get extra on the side but be warned you will taste like garlic afterwards (tasty!). I also like to get the skhug on the side for a kick of spice. You'll definitely find your own mojo here. I like how Naf Naf Grill is expanding their locations and I can't wait to see them pop up more. It's very delicious and healthy. You can expect to pay anywhere from $9-$14 for a meal. I was bored and went on Yelp to look for a new lunch spot and when I saw the featured image for Naf Naf Grill, I knew I just had to try it. Back in NYC, I was spoiled with large chain stores that served mediterranean food, Chipotle-style, like Cava and Roti, and I was SO SAD when I found out those restaurants didn't exist here. Imagine my surprise when I found a restaurant exactly like them here in Brookfield! I got a steak bowl with half rice and lettuce, tomato/cucumbers, tabouleh, babaganoush, and tahini while I got my partner a chicken bowl with half rice and lettuce, tomato/cucumbers, onions, tabouleh, hummus, and tahini. Both were EXTREMELY delicious with generous portions and a side of fluffy and soft pita bread. To top it off, I had an enjoyable conversations with one of the employees, Anne-Marie, who honestly made my take out experience phenomenally better with just a 5-min interaction! I'm glad to see that the employees are happy working at Naf Naf and aren't shy to strike up a fun convo with customers. This place is conveniently located at the Brookfield Square Mall as a separate food place, not inside the food court. Place was very clean and bright. We came in and the owner greeted us and gave us a brief introduction and steps in how to order, which was very helpful. I ordered the falafel bowl and was amazing! It had a nice mix of smooth texture from the bubba ganoush and crunchiness from the falafel. The amount of food with the price is great and affordable. You won't leave this place hungry! The food came with a warm fluffy pita that was so addicting! Drink wise , they offered sparkling water, soda, and tea from the soda machine. For a fast casual chain, Naf Naf really brings the flavor. I'd had their food on other cities and thought it was "ok" - either they've changed things in their menu or I figured out the right combination for me. You basically go down a line Qdoba/Chipotle style - start with rice, greens or hummus and then choose a protein (chicken or beef schwarma or falafels). After that you add tasty veggies and sauces and that's it! I picked chicken and thought it was plenty tasty, and topped my bowl with cabbage, tom/cucumber salad and pickles. In terms of sauces, I tried a few and the green one is delightful - it's hot but full of spice flavors. If you want to get nuclear, their harissa is very hot indeed. Bowls come with a fresh made pita and are around $8 - it's a lot of food. The Mister liked it well enough that he had TWO sandwiches and requested a return visit the next day. Second bowl was kind of a disaster - hummus, baba ganoush, steak, all toppings, tahini, S'khug. It was ridiculously salty. I told the server I messed up my wife's order and she wanted rice in her bowl. The server promptly told me that should have been ordered with the bowl and charged me $3 for one small scoop of rice. *Sigh* Fries were kind of odd but tasty (julienne cut) Lentil soup was way too salty as well.
