I recently purchased a Bronco Outer Banks from Car Source Auto this past Saturday. Overall, the…read moreexperience was mixed. My salesman, Hunter, was not overly pushy, which I appreciated. All of the staff I interacted with were polite and professional, and that made the process more comfortable. However, I do have several complaints. Before driving all the way from Virginia to Ohio, we agreed on an out-the-door price of $35,000. When I arrived, I was told the price had been increased by $500, and there was very little willingness to negotiate after the fact. That was frustrating, especially after making such a long trip based on a prior agreement. The vehicle itself was also disappointing at delivery. The Bronco was very dirty, had only about 10% oil life remaining, and was given to me with almost no gas in the tank. It also needs the window wipers replaced. When I brought this up, Hunter said he would provide a gas card, but I was only given $12, even though it takes roughly $60 to fill the tank. The listing said it had 55,000 thousand miles but when I arrived it has 57,500 thousand. While I'm happy with the Bronco itself and the staff was friendly, the pricing change, lack of vehicle prep, and minimal effort to make things right took away from what should have been an exciting purchase experience.

They reset vehicle remotely and scheduled apt one week last. We drove an hour and half to the scheduled apt to be told that they weren't paying for the rental vehicle if they can't find anything. We were told that this was just a drop off time; no tech Orion assigned. They would not do us the courtesy of at least doing the diagnosis so we could see if they need to keep it. It made no difference to them that we had already driven 1.5 hours one way! Will not buy from them again!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Would out zero if I could!!!!! Also they screwed me on another new vehicle because they wouldn't honor the power train because the cabin filters were not changed by the authorized Ford service department! Done!!!!!!!!!!!

Ricart's slogan, "We're Dealin'," was not our experience. On…read moreThursday, we visited Ricart and test drove a vehicle. We couldn't agree on a price, so we left. On Friday, we called back and increased our offer, but were told no. Then this morning, a different salesperson called and said they knew we were interested in the vehicle. We explained our offer again, and were told to come in because they could "probably make it work." We stopped what we were doing, drove back to the dealership, and took the vehicle for another test drive. When it came time to discuss pricing, we were told the exact same thing as before: no change in price. We made another trip based on their suggestion that something could be worked out, but nothing had changed. If there was no flexibility on pricing, they should have told us before asking us to come back. Very disappointing and a waste of our time.

I made a morning appointment for shocks and a recall which should have taken a couple hour. I get there on time and the guy tells me it's going to be 3.5-4 hour. Seriously, this is why I made an appointment. I say okay and go sit down. I sit there for 4 hours and then they come and tell me that they can't fix my car today. I asked why, she stated they have the parts but they are short staffed, WTH!! She said they have a courtesy car that I can use until my car is ready. Fine, I'm tired just give me the car and let me leave. They call the next day about 4:20p that my car is ready. I leave immediately to go get my car. I fill theirs with gas and take it back. I sign for my car that was both warranty repairs and leave. Then I drive home and receive a email for a $90 car rental invoice! Had they told me that I would be charged $90 for 27 hours/73 mile; I would have taken an Uber instead.

They way the Parts department set up is very impersonal. Every time you have to have them look at a part or a quote, they have to go in the back to some secret room. and you have to ring a bell to talk to anyone. Also the parts department is located somewhere in a different building than the service department, this is a break in continuity. With all that said, they do offer better pricing than Columbus North Mitsubushi, and free Cookies

I have to post about our car buying experience at Buckeye Motor Sales. We were in a really bad…read moresituation and had just been hit by an 18 wheeler -- our almost paid off car totaled in a matter of a few days. I looked on Car Gurus and found a car that really impressed me and I inquired. The next day I called and talked to Steve and was immediately struck by how in depth he was about the car. He listened to my situation and let me tell him what we needed. We discussed the car and had several conversations that day and it was no time at all and we were approved by various lenders and we were arranging to drive to Delaware to finalize the purchase. Unfortunately I became really sick and couldn't make the trip for a few days and Steve was more concerned about my health than the sale. Which is not surprising since he is not a typical salesman. We came today, finalized the deal, signed, sealed, and after a few hours home with our new 2014 Chevy Cruze and it is JUST what we were looking for. 100,000 miles less than our totaled car, great payment and 1st payment not due for a month. Beautiful car, clean, great gas mileage, and so happy to say this Made in America and Made in Ohio car is Ours. Thank you Steve -- you have been a wonderful help to us.
