Best and most efficient urgent care. If you get there early and go in and line up, you will get in faster.

This was my first time in urgent care ever. The place was clean, it looked new and staff was…read morefriendly. It's nice that you have the option to do a video call, make an appointment or just a walk in. The visit was straightforward (I had a sore throat, tonsil and ears were hurting). I did asked how long was for a walk in and said about an hour or more then I asked for appointments she sad also about an hour "but hopefully less" which made me think what was the point of making an appointment. I was there for an hour BUT from check in to discharged.... sooo it was not so bad but I was expected to wait to be seen after an hour when she said that. I hope they would give priority to their appointments and see them in a timely manner. Another thing ... I understand that for me it worked out because it was a sore throat but I was still expecting to physically see a physician. I wanted to go in person so they can check me in person, touch my neck, parotid glands, check my ears and check my throat but instead I was talking to the physician through a screen. If I knew that was going to be the case I would have just scheduled a video call and waited comfortably in my house. Talking to the physician took 5min, not super friendly but like I said maybe my case was straightforward. Everyone else was super friendly and explained everything. They did explain they do have a physician there but it depends on patients needs if they need to see them physically or it could be something over the video call so that is helping everyone kinda move faster but still... waiting time for appointments are an hour. Not cool Overall I would go back to Marque urgent care and I would recommend it. Hopefully they can improve their waiting times.

This place needs to work on their price transparency and follow up! I came in for a wrist injury…read moreand was told the total was $160 with my insurance, which I paid for in person, but then weeks later I'm hit with another large bill in the mail afterwards! On top of that, they didn't give me the orthopedic referral that was promised and that I needed, so I had to pay an extra $80 for another separate appointment with my primary HCP. Marque Urgent Care had the opportunity to make my injury less stressful, and my pathway to healing easier, and they dropped the ball. I won't be back. Side note: the staff and physician were all very nice. And the facility is clean. But inaccurate pricing / unexpected charges are deal breakers :(

Literally made this account just to write about this experience. Nurse practitioner, Peter Tannous,…read moremay both sides of your pillow always be cold. I've visited this MinuteClinic several times for flu shots and TB tests, and while wait times can run longer than expected, I understand why. Between walk-ins, limited providers, and the unpredictable nature of healthcare, delays are sometimes unavoidable. This visit was no different. While waiting for my general medical exam, I noticed a steady stream of patients being checked in. At one point, an older couple at the front desk seemed to be having trouble navigating the walk-in process. Peter stepped out of his room repeatedly--at least five times--to help translate and explain the system to them. Despite his efforts, they seemed confused about how to proceed and would repeatedly approach the front whenever a name was called, even when it clearly wasn't theirs. By this point, I was about 10 minutes past my scheduled appointment, and the waiting room was getting busier. Peter calmly explained to the couple that he could only perform the specific TB test they wanted to sign up for, while they were requesting multiple services that the MinuteClinic doesn't even offer. Shortly after, he called my name. As I walked up, I overheard other patients expressing frustration about the wait, with some even canceling their appointments. Meanwhile, Peter just sighed and immediately returned to providing professional, attentive care. During my appointment, he was nothing but kind, focused, and respectful. I had forgotten some required forms for my exam, and he was incredibly understanding--allowing me to quickly run to my car to retrieve them. He also took the time to give me thoughtful advice about my future in nursing, which I truly appreciated. Unfortunately, the earlier couple continued to interrupt, knocking on the door multiple times during my visit. Each time, Peter had to step away to explain that he was with a patient, while they grew increasingly frustrated that he couldn't drop everything to assist them immediately. He apologized to me every time he paused, though I didn't mind. I could clearly see the situation he was managing. That experience alone was a powerful reminder of what our healthcare system is. In the single hour I was there, it felt like a full shift's worth of challenges. Patients don't get the care they genuinely need, incompetent people don't do their research, and providers that ARE present become ill-equipped punching bags. It is a constant cycle. TLDR: The minute clinic here is a disaster. I agree with other reviews that it is understaffed and often overbooked (walk-ins are not as simple as they seem). Patients deserve timely, high-quality care, but it's also important to understand the system's limitations. IF YOU are standing there, signing up for a 10-minute TB test, as it was the only appointment available to make online, and then are SHOCKED when the only 1 NP working there tells you they cannot perform the 50-minute appointment you ACTUALLY wanted to have done in that 10-min slot, then YOU are the problem. Understaffed or not, it is the few entitled/ignorant people I see from time to time that cause the greatest disturbance in ANY healthcare clinic/hospital/pharmacy/you name it. Healthcare providers are humans too, who get overworked like the rest of us. They work under pressure, juggle multiple responsibilities, and still strive to give each patient the care they deserve. Before leaving a harsh review about "bad service," it's worth considering the bigger picture.

Every time I go to this minute clinic whoever is there always help and I've never had a bad…read moreexperience here but yesterday I had the best experience with the nurse practitioner Peter, he was so nice, professional and he went above and beyond to help me with everything I needed. I really dislike writing negative reviews, as everyone's experience is different. But I feel like…read morepeople should be warned from my experience at this clinic. I walked in and immediately noticed 4 out of the 5 or so workers at the front desk were on their phones or talking amongst each other while I was just standing there. No big deal, I got up there & got my paperwork. But I felt as if I was interrupting, or interfering with their Friday morning life updates. I was there for a follow-up for a spinal injury, with documented proof of L5-S1 disc protrusion, as well as a time sensitive state deadline for my disability claim. Instead of providing medical care or any form of report I was told I could get, I was abruptly met with 'we don't do that here', and practically sent away. It felt to me that they were just trying to clear their desk for the weekend, rather than helping me with obviously a serious injury and State paperwork that should not just be undermined as it was at this clinic. I was brought back with the Nurse to do vitals, but was told that the provider wouldn't even see me. I then asked them, "well, I need at least to talk to someone about what's happening at the moment" and they asked if I would like to establish care, so I then said, if that's the only option for me, sure. My nurse walks away to go play telephone with the Physician. When he could have come and spoke to me himself(??) As she's away, the receptionist comes back holding a piece of paper(I'm assuming it's for me). Another nurse, who i haven't met nor talked to once, stopped her, and told her "Yes! she wants to establish care, at the Chase location not with us. Schedule her for 3:50pm". I even heard the receptionist say "Are you sure?". Uhmmm, that was pretty weird to be sitting right across from them hearing it all go down, and not having a say in anything. I live in Alpine. it's a 30-35 min drive to EITHER office, and i've always preferred mornings for my appointments unless absolutely necessary. It was just a red flag they didn't even care to ask me my preference or ask where the closest office is to me(if there is one). Every doctor's appointment i've ever been to, even Urgent Cares, always asked me those questions. So it was very unprofessional for this office to go back and forth with quite literally everyone in the clinic about MY upcoming appointment. Despite checking me in, taking my vitals, as well as scheduling my next appointment, the staff strongly refused to provide my After Visit Summary. When I explained that I needed a written record of my visit and the referral for my state disability deadline, I was flatly told "No" simply because I did not see a doctor. It is unacceptable to have taken my vitals, and checked me in, only to be refused a very basic summary of that encounter. Ultimately, I left feeling completely unheard & physically worse from the stress and the time spent being ignored. A healthcare facility as such, should prioritize patient well-being as well as clear communication, especially when dealing with severe injuries and time sensitive legal documentation. This visit was a complete loss of professional courtesy, patient advocacy, and ultimately a complete waste of time. It's a crazy world and I can completely understand having off-days in this field, but judging by the previous reviews & the overall environment of the East Main St location, I shouldn't have expected so much from this team. Two stars ONLY for my Nurse that took my vitals and listened to my injury & what exactly I needed, for the most part. Besides the fact that she couldn't physically bring the Physician to come speak to me himself, she was super friendly & I could tell she was listening to every word I told her. Drive the few extra miles to go to another clinic that specializes in professionalism and true patient care, because this clinic definitely is not it.

So if you suffer from any mental health disabilities, stay away. The people there super sweetes harassed and discriminated on me and my service animal for my serve PTSD disabilities, even after I presented my ADA accommodations letter and vaccinations for my pomeranian service animal. Yes, he is an adorable and cute service animal, and every wants to touch and hold him. Well these kids kept messing with with him and the personal items I left on tje table while filling out their paperwork, while I'm sick and coughing. And this lady not once but 3x's felt the need to come out of the back office to harass and discriminate against me and my service animal. Even after I pointed out that it was the kids who were causing him anxiety. This ineffectivelly set me into a stressful moment and I had to leave before I could see a doctor. The policy should be clear that kids should be controlled by their parents and not in turn harass and discriminate on the person's who have disabilities. This a shameful and very unwelcoming environment for people like myself who have these disabilities. I will be following up with filing a claim against them with the CDOJ and the ADA. Thank you yelp and beware of harassment and Discrimination from these fake health care service providers, like: Family Health Centers of San Diego. I am a human being, but service animals are family and treated on the same level, most everywhere I go. Except here.
