Rude customer service by the lady with glasses at the front desk. Nurses don't know what they're doing. Not recommend to go here

They were able to get my x-ray done on a Saturday, have the results read, and sent to my doctor in time for a follow up visit on Monday. Check in was simple with either the tablets at the front desk or via the text message they send. Staff was great: efficient, pleasant, thorough, and listened well. I feel like I got very good care and results.

I thought if I went to this Marque Urgent Care Clinic yesterday to ask one of their Doctors to give me a Blood Test and an Ultrasound on my right leg which I was experiencing moderate to severe pain that feels like a tingling sensation from underneath my right knee down towards my right foot. I also have swelling in my right leg and my skin on the front and back of my right leg is warm to the touch. These symptoms that I am describing are signs of a Blood Clot in my right leg and I was advised by my nurse to walk into this Marque Urgent Care Clinic yesterday. A blood clot is a very serious medical condition. It's a medical emergency. When I called yesterday at 4 PM I got an answering machine that said ALL OF THERE MEDICAL STAFF IS BUSY AND LEAVE A MESSAGE. I did leave my full name and my cell phone number to call me back ASAP. This Marque Urgent Care Clinic NEVER called me back yesterday and I have a serious Blood Clot in my right Leg, if this blood clot breaks off it can move up to my heart and I can have a Heart Attack and Die.

It's been a…read morefew days since my visit, and I've continued to feel so genuinely thankful for the care I received that I actually sought out where I could leave a review because I wanted to make sure the people who cared for me were recognized. From start to finish, my experience at Sharp Grossmont's Emergency Department was exceptional. From check-in, to being escorted to triage, to every interaction throughout my visit, every single point of contact was friendly, efficient, and thorough. What stood out to me most was how genuinely kind and positive everyone was. Every staff member seemed to take pride in what they were doing. They did their jobs efficiently and thoroughly, while still making me feel cared for as a person. I've had experiences in other emergency rooms before, and this was by far the best experience I've had, especially considering the circumstances that brought me there. A very special thank you to Dr. Alex Kim, who sutured the wound above my eye. Having an injury on my face was obviously stressful, and I was concerned about how it would heal. Dr. Kim was extremely professional and meticulous, took his time, and made me feel completely at ease throughout the repair. I can already barely see the incision, and I am incredibly grateful for the care and attention he put into his work. No one wants to find themselves in an emergency room, but I walked away from this experience feeling incredibly grateful. The level of care I received truly went above and beyond, and I hope this review helps ensure that Dr. Kim and the entire Sharp Grossmont ER team receive the recognition they deserve.

The nurse & PA explained everything& were straight to the point. Gave my meds& told me to get some rest! The only thing i didn't like was how confusing it was to get there. Parked in the structure, hopped on the elevator to the 1st floor, walked across &went up the elevators to the 6th floor. It is all the way to the end of the building.

My experience with this office has made me question whether our healthcare system is somehow worse than I already knew it was. I wish I was exaggerating when I say that almost every single time I have come into this office or spoken on the phone with them, they have made a mistake, told me misinformation, or started to share my private health information over the phone before confirming it was me speaking. As a service industry worker, I try to be very understanding. That being said, you cannot afford to be bad at your job when working in healthcare. Alternatively, this office has failed time and time again to provide timely care because of scheduling issues. I do not find it ethical to keep accepting new patients as a PCP, but not be able to see them for MONTHS at times. I cannot imagine how much more stressful this experience would be for the elderly, or those with life threatening chronic illness. If possible, just make the drive to Poway. The extra time and money you spend on gas is nothing compared to the stress you may experience if you have urgent health problems that are not being properly addressed. I have never felt strongly enough to write a negative review before, but unfortunately it is that serious when it comes to public health.

So glad it worked in my favor. The wait was long (2 hours), but they warned me ahead of time & even offered another location with shorter wait time. After driving almost 40 miles, I chose to stay and it wasn't too bad. The office is small but not crowded, and the staff was kind, efficient & attentive. Having lived in LA, 2 hours was nothing compared to average 4-12 hour wait I was used to-(LA pre-pandemic & ever since) The nurse checked on me, apologized for the additional time in Exam room waiting for the NP, asked if I needed anything (which I've never experienced). Nurse Practitioner Ana was great--she listened to me closely, checked everything thoroughly, and sent my prescription in so fast it was ready before I even left the parking lot. I was also able to get a referral to a specialist without jumping through hoops or the usual resistance I've dealt with in the past. Overall, this was one better urgent care experiences I've had in years. I felt heard and taken care of, which sadly isn't always the case anymore. Hoping the rest of my care here stays just as positive. It was mentioned I'll be in good hands, when I see my new PCP, so that was reassuring. Located behind Starbucks off Main Street. Small parking lot but accessible.

Literally made this account just to write about this experience. Nurse practitioner, Peter Tannous,…read moremay both sides of your pillow always be cold. I've visited this MinuteClinic several times for flu shots and TB tests, and while wait times can run longer than expected, I understand why. Between walk-ins, limited providers, and the unpredictable nature of healthcare, delays are sometimes unavoidable. This visit was no different. While waiting for my general medical exam, I noticed a steady stream of patients being checked in. At one point, an older couple at the front desk seemed to be having trouble navigating the walk-in process. Peter stepped out of his room repeatedly--at least five times--to help translate and explain the system to them. Despite his efforts, they seemed confused about how to proceed and would repeatedly approach the front whenever a name was called, even when it clearly wasn't theirs. By this point, I was about 10 minutes past my scheduled appointment, and the waiting room was getting busier. Peter calmly explained to the couple that he could only perform the specific TB test they wanted to sign up for, while they were requesting multiple services that the MinuteClinic doesn't even offer. Shortly after, he called my name. As I walked up, I overheard other patients expressing frustration about the wait, with some even canceling their appointments. Meanwhile, Peter just sighed and immediately returned to providing professional, attentive care. During my appointment, he was nothing but kind, focused, and respectful. I had forgotten some required forms for my exam, and he was incredibly understanding--allowing me to quickly run to my car to retrieve them. He also took the time to give me thoughtful advice about my future in nursing, which I truly appreciated. Unfortunately, the earlier couple continued to interrupt, knocking on the door multiple times during my visit. Each time, Peter had to step away to explain that he was with a patient, while they grew increasingly frustrated that he couldn't drop everything to assist them immediately. He apologized to me every time he paused, though I didn't mind. I could clearly see the situation he was managing. That experience alone was a powerful reminder of what our healthcare system is. In the single hour I was there, it felt like a full shift's worth of challenges. Patients don't get the care they genuinely need, incompetent people don't do their research, and providers that ARE present become ill-equipped punching bags. It is a constant cycle. TLDR: The minute clinic here is a disaster. I agree with other reviews that it is understaffed and often overbooked (walk-ins are not as simple as they seem). Patients deserve timely, high-quality care, but it's also important to understand the system's limitations. IF YOU are standing there, signing up for a 10-minute TB test, as it was the only appointment available to make online, and then are SHOCKED when the only 1 NP working there tells you they cannot perform the 50-minute appointment you ACTUALLY wanted to have done in that 10-min slot, then YOU are the problem. Understaffed or not, it is the few entitled/ignorant people I see from time to time that cause the greatest disturbance in ANY healthcare clinic/hospital/pharmacy/you name it. Healthcare providers are humans too, who get overworked like the rest of us. They work under pressure, juggle multiple responsibilities, and still strive to give each patient the care they deserve. Before leaving a harsh review about "bad service," it's worth considering the bigger picture.
