It's nice that you have the option to do a video call, make an appointment or just a walk in. The visit was straightforward (I had a sore throat, tonsil and ears were hurting). I did asked how long was for a walk in and said about an hour or more then I asked for appointments she sad also about an hour "but hopefully less" which made me think what was the point of making an appointment. I was there for an hour BUT from check in to discharged.... sooo it was not so bad but I was expected to wait to be seen after an hour when she said that. I hope they would give priority to their appointments and see them in a timely manner. Another thing ... I understand that for me it worked out because it was a sore throat but I was still expecting to physically see a physician. I wanted to go in person so they can check me in person, touch my neck, parotid glands, check my ears and check my throat but instead I was talking to the physician through a screen. If I knew that was going to be the case I would have just scheduled a video call and waited comfortably in my house. Talking to the physician took 5min, not super friendly but like I said maybe my case was straightforward. Everyone else was super friendly and explained everything. They did explain they do have a physician there but it depends on patients needs if they need to see them physically or it could be something over the video call so that is helping everyone kinda move faster but still... waiting time for appointments are an hour. Not cool Overall I would go back to Marque urgent care and I would recommend it. Hopefully they can improve their waiting times.

This place needs to work on their price transparency and follow up! I came in for a wrist injury…read moreand was told the total was $160 with my insurance, which I paid for in person, but then weeks later I'm hit with another large bill in the mail afterwards! On top of that, they didn't give me the orthopedic referral that was promised and that I needed, so I had to pay an extra $80 for another separate appointment with my primary HCP. Marque Urgent Care had the opportunity to make my injury less stressful, and my pathway to healing easier, and they dropped the ball. I won't be back. Side note: the staff and physician were all very nice. And the facility is clean. But inaccurate pricing / unexpected charges are deal breakers :(

I just, as of a week ago, moved up here from Palm Desert and needed a Family Doctor…read more I stumbled across this practice by accident. Phoned up and made an appointment to see a certain Dr Saifi. This man completely blew me away, with his charm, enthusiasm and TOTAL peace of mind, of his complete medical knowledge. He was "spot on" as the English say. He has carried out some initial tests and I'm a very happy bunny!! The rest of the Practice staff, were kind. courteous and polite. Thank you all Laurence Greenfield

SO I ADDED PROOF IN ADITTION TO THE PHOTO OF THE PATIENT SCREENING ROOM! THE DOCUMENTATION HE SIGNED MADE ME PAY FOR OUT OF POCKET AND NPW REFUSES TO SIGN. Admittedly Dr. Saifi is intelligent, However that does not compensate for his poor bedside manner, personally I left his former practice in La Mesa because his "15 min appointments" after 40 minutes waiting in lobby, consisted of about 3 minutes wherein he asked about 7 questions letting be begin to answer 2-3 before cutting me off and vanishing. His focus appears to be on compensation $$$$$$. It took neatly a month to get any decent response from his new practice, which, in my opinion, adds to the impression that he is a business person with impressive knowledge and experience but a lack of responsibility, respect and concern for his patients. Additionally as I suffer from mental illness I asked for a referral to a specialist who could help me the referral wasn't honored by the providers office. Finally he made me pay cash for the documents he filled out stating a diagnosis of lifetime affliction of my medical condition. Even though it was covered from insurance which he accepted and was already billing. If I'm to understand , he opened this practice in Santee, Ca - 2 years ago. So does that mean as a provider relocates he hasn't any responsibility/ obligation or duty to former patients after practice is closed/ opened elsewhere? An office in La Mesa, Escondido, Santee? How many times has Dr. Saifi thrown out his rolodex?

The family and I liked that we were able to see my brother without having time restraints. He was later transferred to west wing (building next door). Throughout my brother's stay at hospital, the nursing staff and everyone my brother encountered during his stay at both wing, were accommodating, caring, helpful and good spirited. Thank you Grossmont Hospital for taking very good care of my brother. I would send shout-outs to staff that were extra helpful and kind. Sorry I did not remember everyone's name. (stayed March 17 through March 24) He started his first chemo treatment last Thursday, April 16.

He started in the ER where they took good care of him with a fast assessment and understandable assessment of the situation. They were short beds so it took almost a day to get him admitted to the hospital. He made it to 2 north. I watched as the all nurses had to really hustle with all the patients. They really were terrific - can't underscore enough how much were appreciated the team. The doctors and surgeon were excellent, top notch. Dr Desai and Dr Leung (surgeon) did a great job explaining everything and taking good care of him. His day nurse, Veeda ,was wonderful - attentive, sympathetic and understanding. His night nurse chaseeka (sorry I don't recall the spelling) took great care of him. In fact everyone on the 2 north floor was soooo nice. Sometimes we grabbed someone in the hall and no one brushed us off, they were very helpful. I'm really sad about how understaffed this hospital is and how many patients they have. With respect to the room, there are two people assigned per room. Not really much room for visitors. When we first arrived I was hesitant as it doesn't feel sterile (other than the main lobby and surgery center). It's definitely showing its age. It would be nice for there to be an expansion or for Kaiser to open up - their facility is just sitting there... So overall, despite the appearance, given the situation, a good experience.

I have never had a referral happen so quickly! They had an appointment available Monday morning. Check in was quick and easy, done in just over a minute. We were called in at the appointment time. The nurse asked some questions and looked at my son's toe that was giving him some trouble. She advised what she though the treatment options would be. Dr. Thomas came in just a couple minutes later and said the same thing the nurse did. He gave us our options. I made a decision but my son was very scare of the shot and the procedure. Dr. Thomas was amazingly patient while my son had his freak out. He remained calm and tried to help me to get my son to understand what needed to be done and why. This took a good 15 minutes, but in the end Dr. Thomas did the procedure. It was over pretty quickly and my son became interested in the procedure. He answered all my son's questions about what he was doing, what tools he used, anything my son was curious about. I am truly shocked at how nice the nurse and Dr. Curt Thomas were. The fact they were also able to do this same day was more than appreciated. I really can't think of anything that could have been better. Thank you Dr. Thomas and care team!
