This was my first time in urgent care ever. The place was clean, it looked new and staff was…read morefriendly. It's nice that you have the option to do a video call, make an appointment or just a walk in. The visit was straightforward (I had a sore throat, tonsil and ears were hurting). I did asked how long was for a walk in and said about an hour or more then I asked for appointments she sad also about an hour "but hopefully less" which made me think what was the point of making an appointment. I was there for an hour BUT from check in to discharged.... sooo it was not so bad but I was expected to wait to be seen after an hour when she said that. I hope they would give priority to their appointments and see them in a timely manner. Another thing ... I understand that for me it worked out because it was a sore throat but I was still expecting to physically see a physician. I wanted to go in person so they can check me in person, touch my neck, parotid glands, check my ears and check my throat but instead I was talking to the physician through a screen. If I knew that was going to be the case I would have just scheduled a video call and waited comfortably in my house. Talking to the physician took 5min, not super friendly but like I said maybe my case was straightforward. Everyone else was super friendly and explained everything. They did explain they do have a physician there but it depends on patients needs if they need to see them physically or it could be something over the video call so that is helping everyone kinda move faster but still... waiting time for appointments are an hour. Not cool Overall I would go back to Marque urgent care and I would recommend it. Hopefully they can improve their waiting times.

This place needs to work on their price transparency and follow up! I came in for a wrist injury…read moreand was told the total was $160 with my insurance, which I paid for in person, but then weeks later I'm hit with another large bill in the mail afterwards! On top of that, they didn't give me the orthopedic referral that was promised and that I needed, so I had to pay an extra $80 for another separate appointment with my primary HCP. Marque Urgent Care had the opportunity to make my injury less stressful, and my pathway to healing easier, and they dropped the ball. I won't be back. Side note: the staff and physician were all very nice. And the facility is clean. But inaccurate pricing / unexpected charges are deal breakers :(

Literally made this account just to write about this experience. Nurse practitioner, Peter Tannous,…read moremay both sides of your pillow always be cold. I've visited this MinuteClinic several times for flu shots and TB tests, and while wait times can run longer than expected, I understand why. Between walk-ins, limited providers, and the unpredictable nature of healthcare, delays are sometimes unavoidable. This visit was no different. While waiting for my general medical exam, I noticed a steady stream of patients being checked in. At one point, an older couple at the front desk seemed to be having trouble navigating the walk-in process. Peter stepped out of his room repeatedly--at least five times--to help translate and explain the system to them. Despite his efforts, they seemed confused about how to proceed and would repeatedly approach the front whenever a name was called, even when it clearly wasn't theirs. By this point, I was about 10 minutes past my scheduled appointment, and the waiting room was getting busier. Peter calmly explained to the couple that he could only perform the specific TB test they wanted to sign up for, while they were requesting multiple services that the MinuteClinic doesn't even offer. Shortly after, he called my name. As I walked up, I overheard other patients expressing frustration about the wait, with some even canceling their appointments. Meanwhile, Peter just sighed and immediately returned to providing professional, attentive care. During my appointment, he was nothing but kind, focused, and respectful. I had forgotten some required forms for my exam, and he was incredibly understanding--allowing me to quickly run to my car to retrieve them. He also took the time to give me thoughtful advice about my future in nursing, which I truly appreciated. Unfortunately, the earlier couple continued to interrupt, knocking on the door multiple times during my visit. Each time, Peter had to step away to explain that he was with a patient, while they grew increasingly frustrated that he couldn't drop everything to assist them immediately. He apologized to me every time he paused, though I didn't mind. I could clearly see the situation he was managing. That experience alone was a powerful reminder of what our healthcare system is. In the single hour I was there, it felt like a full shift's worth of challenges. Patients don't get the care they genuinely need, incompetent people don't do their research, and providers that ARE present become ill-equipped punching bags. It is a constant cycle. TLDR: The minute clinic here is a disaster. I agree with other reviews that it is understaffed and often overbooked (walk-ins are not as simple as they seem). Patients deserve timely, high-quality care, but it's also important to understand the system's limitations. IF YOU are standing there, signing up for a 10-minute TB test, as it was the only appointment available to make online, and then are SHOCKED when the only 1 NP working there tells you they cannot perform the 50-minute appointment you ACTUALLY wanted to have done in that 10-min slot, then YOU are the problem. Understaffed or not, it is the few entitled/ignorant people I see from time to time that cause the greatest disturbance in ANY healthcare clinic/hospital/pharmacy/you name it. Healthcare providers are humans too, who get overworked like the rest of us. They work under pressure, juggle multiple responsibilities, and still strive to give each patient the care they deserve. Before leaving a harsh review about "bad service," it's worth considering the bigger picture.

Of course, we all put a lot of trust and faith that the care we receive from the doctors to always be the best. But remember, they're licensed to practice medicine! I have never had a referral happen so quickly! They had an appointment available Monday morning. Check in was quick and easy, done in just over a minute. We were called in at the appointment time. The nurse asked some questions and looked at my son's toe that was giving him some trouble. She advised what she though the treatment options would be. Dr. Thomas came in just a couple minutes later and said the same thing the nurse did. He gave us our options. I made a decision but my son was very scare of the shot and the procedure. Dr. Thomas was amazingly patient while my son had his freak out. He remained calm and tried to help me to get my son to understand what needed to be done and why. This took a good 15 minutes, but in the end Dr. Thomas did the procedure. It was over pretty quickly and my son became interested in the procedure. He answered all my son's questions about what he was doing, what tools he used, anything my son was curious about. I am truly shocked at how nice the nurse and Dr. Curt Thomas were. The fact they were also able to do this same day was more than appreciated. I really can't think of anything that could have been better. Thank you Dr. Thomas and care team!

Definitely got the vibe immediately that they didnt want to deal with me or check me in. Went to the clinic the suggested, it was twice as much with a longer wait time. Came back to Concentra. Checked in. Got told I got lucky, only a 90 MINUTE wait. Nearly 3 hours later they call me and take my vitals in an exam room. Another 45 min later, a tall doctor came into the room, looked at finger for 5 seconds then said in an annoyed tone that Id be waiting another two hours because they had others in front of me and my cut "wasnt a big deal really".. with an eye roll.. He gave me the impression I was wasting their time coming in to get stitched up. Tall rude doctors leaves, waited another hour. A different doctor comes in, nice and polite with glasses on. Dr Bruce. He was the complete opposite of the other guy and I was super grateful we found common ground in that we shared some mutual friends through martial arts. Dr Bruce was amazing and should work in a place with nicer people. Id never been in a medical setting where the staff treated you like they were annoyed you showed up to get help. These people are rude and really dont give a #%$& about you. I wish I had gone somewhere else.

Go to Google to get an idea of the problems, which are Loius, and the so called doctor (Olson). Think finger air quotes when you say doctor. Like, allegedly... Anyway, he was a complete ass. He even identified the WRONG BODY PART, after I came in for worker's comp injury. Dude, THAT'S YOUR WHOLE JOB IN THIS SCENARIO! Like, I'm not a doctor, I get it. But, I do know the difference between a TOENAIL AND A FOOT. He may need a refresher course and some heavy reinforcement from HR, because he has problems, big problems. I was waiting for him to beat his chest and yell, "Come at me bro!" He's super arrogant, hostile and aggressive. Not the sharpest tool in the shed either. I would recommend having someone else in the room, even a staff member because I felt very unsafe being alone with him. The guy has massive aggression and hostility issues, besides not knowing the difference between a TOENAIL AND FOOT for starters. Not only is the doctor AGGRESSIVE, he's also PASSIVE AGGRESSIVE. So fun! Not! So after he had a diva moment and walked out of the room after I repeatedly asked him (calmly) to lower his voice, he kept me waiting for my useless paperwork for like an hour. As I was waiting, Louis came over to me, way too close (almost touching me), staring down at me in the chair, reached to touch my shoulder. I said I need you to stop touching me right now. Wtf people? You guys are so out of line and then some. Get it together. Not to mention Louis cracked some asinine joke when I arrived about "calling a tow truck." I just stared blankly and let him know I didn't appreciate his inappropriate joke. Har har har So whatever your need, bypass this shit show. Have your employer literally send you anywhere else.
