Had to get a tune up and my fluids topped off before my Ecuador trip..Apparently strep throat is not good and theres this thing ive been missing in my diet called water : The owners of Alpine Urgent Care Brian and Mary Petterson i became friends with a couple years ago before they opened here after doing alot of work on there local home. They are top notch i changed my primary care to them, they accept all kinds of insurance CVS is right next door for scrips, no waits usually at theyre clinic, no bs, in and out and taken care of. They are saviors.. they are also expanding soon in the same complex. I suggest you go see them you'll be shocked how easy health care can be. Thank you so much!

It's nice that you have the option to do a video call, make an appointment or just a walk in. The visit was straightforward (I had a sore throat, tonsil and ears were hurting). I did asked how long was for a walk in and said about an hour or more then I asked for appointments she sad also about an hour "but hopefully less" which made me think what was the point of making an appointment. I was there for an hour BUT from check in to discharged.... sooo it was not so bad but I was expected to wait to be seen after an hour when she said that. I hope they would give priority to their appointments and see them in a timely manner. Another thing ... I understand that for me it worked out because it was a sore throat but I was still expecting to physically see a physician. I wanted to go in person so they can check me in person, touch my neck, parotid glands, check my ears and check my throat but instead I was talking to the physician through a screen. If I knew that was going to be the case I would have just scheduled a video call and waited comfortably in my house. Talking to the physician took 5min, not super friendly but like I said maybe my case was straightforward. Everyone else was super friendly and explained everything. They did explain they do have a physician there but it depends on patients needs if they need to see them physically or it could be something over the video call so that is helping everyone kinda move faster but still... waiting time for appointments are an hour. Not cool Overall I would go back to Marque urgent care and I would recommend it. Hopefully they can improve their waiting times.

This place needs to work on their price transparency and follow up! I came in for a wrist injury…read moreand was told the total was $160 with my insurance, which I paid for in person, but then weeks later I'm hit with another large bill in the mail afterwards! On top of that, they didn't give me the orthopedic referral that was promised and that I needed, so I had to pay an extra $80 for another separate appointment with my primary HCP. Marque Urgent Care had the opportunity to make my injury less stressful, and my pathway to healing easier, and they dropped the ball. I won't be back. Side note: the staff and physician were all very nice. And the facility is clean. But inaccurate pricing / unexpected charges are deal breakers :(

Insane wait times for a simple annual checkup... like three months. Twice the doctor mixed up my chart with another patient and didn't know until I told her that doesn't sound like my test results. The doctor didn't even look at my bloodwork until I was sitting in front of her, and I felt rushed. I told them I was moving out of state, but no one made a note of it. I kept getting texts from them, I replied I was no longer in the area. After getting set up with a hew healthcare system, I finally feel well cared for again, and realized how poor the service is in Ramona.

This reflects Urgent Care visit. I will update when I see new PCP…read more I was honestly nervous coming here after seeing the 2 star ratings, especially since I had just changed insurance & didn't have much of a choice as the distance is a lot further away from the actual city I'm closer to. So glad it worked in my favor. The wait was long (2 hours), but they warned me ahead of time & even offered another location with shorter wait time. After driving almost 40 miles, I chose to stay and it wasn't too bad. The office is small but not crowded, and the staff was kind, efficient & attentive. Having lived in LA, 2 hours was nothing compared to average 4-12 hour wait I was used to-(LA pre-pandemic & ever since) The nurse checked on me, apologized for the additional time in Exam room waiting for the NP, asked if I needed anything (which I've never experienced). Nurse Practitioner Ana was great--she listened to me closely, checked everything thoroughly, and sent my prescription in so fast it was ready before I even left the parking lot. I was also able to get a referral to a specialist without jumping through hoops or the usual resistance I've dealt with in the past. Overall, this was one better urgent care experiences I've had in years. I felt heard and taken care of, which sadly isn't always the case anymore. Hoping the rest of my care here stays just as positive. It was mentioned I'll be in good hands, when I see my new PCP, so that was reassuring. Located behind Starbucks off Main Street. Small parking lot but accessible.

Literally made this account just to write about this experience. Nurse practitioner, Peter Tannous,…read moremay both sides of your pillow always be cold. I've visited this MinuteClinic several times for flu shots and TB tests, and while wait times can run longer than expected, I understand why. Between walk-ins, limited providers, and the unpredictable nature of healthcare, delays are sometimes unavoidable. This visit was no different. While waiting for my general medical exam, I noticed a steady stream of patients being checked in. At one point, an older couple at the front desk seemed to be having trouble navigating the walk-in process. Peter stepped out of his room repeatedly--at least five times--to help translate and explain the system to them. Despite his efforts, they seemed confused about how to proceed and would repeatedly approach the front whenever a name was called, even when it clearly wasn't theirs. By this point, I was about 10 minutes past my scheduled appointment, and the waiting room was getting busier. Peter calmly explained to the couple that he could only perform the specific TB test they wanted to sign up for, while they were requesting multiple services that the MinuteClinic doesn't even offer. Shortly after, he called my name. As I walked up, I overheard other patients expressing frustration about the wait, with some even canceling their appointments. Meanwhile, Peter just sighed and immediately returned to providing professional, attentive care. During my appointment, he was nothing but kind, focused, and respectful. I had forgotten some required forms for my exam, and he was incredibly understanding--allowing me to quickly run to my car to retrieve them. He also took the time to give me thoughtful advice about my future in nursing, which I truly appreciated. Unfortunately, the earlier couple continued to interrupt, knocking on the door multiple times during my visit. Each time, Peter had to step away to explain that he was with a patient, while they grew increasingly frustrated that he couldn't drop everything to assist them immediately. He apologized to me every time he paused, though I didn't mind. I could clearly see the situation he was managing. That experience alone was a powerful reminder of what our healthcare system is. In the single hour I was there, it felt like a full shift's worth of challenges. Patients don't get the care they genuinely need, incompetent people don't do their research, and providers that ARE present become ill-equipped punching bags. It is a constant cycle. TLDR: The minute clinic here is a disaster. I agree with other reviews that it is understaffed and often overbooked (walk-ins are not as simple as they seem). Patients deserve timely, high-quality care, but it's also important to understand the system's limitations. IF YOU are standing there, signing up for a 10-minute TB test, as it was the only appointment available to make online, and then are SHOCKED when the only 1 NP working there tells you they cannot perform the 50-minute appointment you ACTUALLY wanted to have done in that 10-min slot, then YOU are the problem. Understaffed or not, it is the few entitled/ignorant people I see from time to time that cause the greatest disturbance in ANY healthcare clinic/hospital/pharmacy/you name it. Healthcare providers are humans too, who get overworked like the rest of us. They work under pressure, juggle multiple responsibilities, and still strive to give each patient the care they deserve. Before leaving a harsh review about "bad service," it's worth considering the bigger picture.

I was in severe pain and repeatedly expressed that to Dr. Natasha Boydstun and Nurse Brenda. My pain was dismissed from the beginning. I was told to "just take Tylenol and ibuprofen" and that was the extent of their pain management plan. After receiving a tetanus shot (my first since 1998), I was told I would be sent home with basic bandaging supplies and Surgifoam for aftercare. They never gave it to me. Let me be clear: when someone is in severe pain and likely in shock, it is not their responsibility to remind medical staff to provide the supplies they themselves said they would give. That is basic follow-through and basic care. When my pain worsened, I called multiple times asking for help. Instead of addressing it, I was told I would need to go to the ER to be reevaluated for the same pain I had reported from the start. There was no empathy, no accountability, and no urgency. I have never felt so dismissed by a medical team in my life. I would NEVER recommend this facility to anyone seeking basic competent and compassionate care. Ironically, my pharmacist showed more compassion and concern than the medical team who treated me. She took the time to listen and speak to me kindly, something I never received at this urgent care. And honestly, after this experience, it's no surprise the ratings for this location are so low. I would NOT recommend being seen by either of those two medical so-called professionals to anyone in the community seeking urgent care.
