Update 1/9/2013- So the next day after I received my car, I come to find out my horn didn't work. I was somewhat upset about that because its a safety hazard, so I called John and explained to him the situation. Brij answered and said to bring in the car and they'll look at it right away. When I arrived Brij said he read my review on Yelp and wanted to address ALL of my concerns of the car, especially the "pitting" of the paint on the hood, the pitting on the fender, the horn, and other issues. I pointed out all the issues that I saw with the car and he asked if I could leave the car so they can fix and resolve all of my issues and concerns with their work. Brij and John apologized for me having to bring the car in which I thought was awesome because overall I thought their shop intially did a good job on the car and no one's perfect. What I really respected about Sharp was Brij and John STRIVING for perfection. Which brings me to why I'm writing another review for Sharp and giving them 5 stars. They took my car in this Monday and I just picked up the car today (Wednesday). They fixed ALL of the issues that I addressed in person (I forgot to mention to them the paint drip on the drivers side door, but its not a big deal) AND they even gave me a FREE oil change, reset my maintenance light, and fixed a dent on the hood that I didn't tell them about. John drove the car to my house today, picked me up and I dropped him back to the shop. Excellent customer service. When I dropped John off, I got a chance to look at the car in better detail although it was getting a little dark outside. I saw maybe 1 or 2 little flaws on the hood but nothing close to the 7 or 8 that I saw when I picked up the car the first time. John did mention that the workers should have fixed it right the first time and I agreed with him. John and Brij were upset about that fact and they said they had a talk with their workers to basically "calibrate" them on doing things the right way. I have experience working on auto body so I know that the majority of a paint job's outcome is based on prepping. This time around I could tell the workers took extra care on prepping the car. Therefore, the fact that Brij and John not only took the car back to resolve the issues, but they also went the extra mile to make sure things were done right, and provided additional "perks," is the main reason why I'm giving them the 5 stars that they strive for. I will definitely recommend them to my colleagues, friends, and family for future auto body and painting work and I will be bringing my cars there in the future. Excellent job Sharp! read more

We came in two weeks ago to get an estimate for my wife's Hyundai. Apparently someone rear ended her vehicle while she was stopped at a red light causing some damage to her rear bumper. I looked around for a few shops and didnt really feel comfortable with the estimate's they gave me so I went down to Sharp to see what they can do to accommodate this issue. John was complete fair and accurate on his estimate because I already had a ball park figure on what it would cost to repair the bumper. Once he confirmed my initial thoughts, I knew that this was going to be the place we left our car. Top notch service and top notch work in my opinion. We left our car Monday and got it back Tuesday the next day, washed and shinning like we just got it out the lot. Great work gentleman, I appreciate your professionalism. What an amazing experience. My husband found this company on Yelp, so we decided for this to be one of the companies from which we received an estimate for the partial painting of my 2004 car. When I arrived there was a man on the phone. I overheard his conversation and couldn't help but think how helpful and informative he was to the caller. When he hung up, he introduced himself as "John" the manager. He went out, looked at my car and we went back in for him to write the estimate. He wanted to do some "extras" that would make the car look even better. It was my plan to get three estimates and then make a decision. When he gave me the estimate, it was considerably better than the first estimate and he said they could complete the work in three days rather than the week that the first estimate asked for. I made a decision on the spot to get them to do the work. They delivered the work on schedule and with the same price that they quoted us. The work product was more than I expected. They were painting parts of my 2004 vehicle and in doing that, did extra work to ensure that I would be really satisfied. Satisfied? I was ecstatic! They did a truly amazing job. You could really see the love that each put into their work and the pride that they took in doing a great job. This type of quality and service appears to be rare these days. I train in high-end customer service, so this really stood out for me. It came clear to me how they have created this level of care and service; it is the ownership. The owner was the person who delivered the final product to me, and in talking with him, I could tell how cares about his team members and his customers alike, and realizes that when you provide excellence, the business will flow in the door! The even better news is that they also do car care, so I will, from here forward, be taking my vehicle to them for all maintenance as well. I am a fussy guy, and I am extremely pleased with the results Sharpe Auto delivered. Sharpe did a complete paint job for me, on a 1993 Cadillac Deville, and the project came out beautifully. Before having the work done, I shopped around and discovered the price they quoted was very fair. They weren't the least expensive, and they were not the most expensive, by far. Complete paint jobs can be very expensive for a very good reason. To do the job correctly, requires a tremendous amount of work, and somehow John's team was able to strike an ideal balance between "a paint job on a budget" and the high price of a custom paint job, providing an outcome that was absolutely beautiful. This Caddi is now 20 years old, and I'll bet it didn't look this good on the day it rolled off the showroom floor. These guys at Sharpe may not have a fancy showroom, but they have been the business a long time and are loaded with talent. They know what it takes to get the job done right. I was left with the impression that John and his team take a personal interest in the work they do, and that they truly care about customer satisfaction. John's team did a great job! Brought my very new Civic with less than 7k miles on it after I stupidly hit a pole. This is the second car I've brought to them because they do exceptional work and all for a competitive price. Considering there are about 15 other collision shops in a two-block radius, I was surprised when I found out these guys get probably over 50% of the business in the area. I can't say much to their internal repair skills, but their guys know their paint shades and exterior body work. I took my 02 Mini Cooper in after it was hit in a parking lot, and although I already bought the replacement piece on eBay, I needed it painted and installed. They charged a fair price for the paint job and I was very satisfied with the match. Wow, How can anyone get so many 5 star reviews?? These guys deserve it! I called John at Sharp to inquire about painting the hood and rood of my Ford pickup. The clear coat was flaking off and looked nasty. John was super pleasant and gave me a really fair quote to do a really difficult job. It's a full size 4X4 so it's hard to get to the top. John had my truck only two days and it looks new again! It's really amazing, but it's true, John and Sharp Auto Painting do deserve the 5 star ratings noted here in Yelp. I ain't made of money, so I bought a bumper and was going to have a friend install it, but then I noticed that other parts were damaged and I didn't know what they were. I have ALWAYS taken any repair work to the dealership where I bought my car, but since my son got into a small "fender bender" I didn't want to spend a lot of money. My daughter just started driving last year. Even though she passed her driving test and was issued a license, it seemed, she still needed some experience, to hone her driving skills. I was pretty unimpressed when I first drove up to this place --quite small with maybe 2-3 workers. But since this place had a high Yelp rating, I went ahead and was very pleased with the result. This was a lease return, and my car had a few deep scratches where my bike rack rubbed off the paint and where my bumper side-swiped another car. John gave us an estimate on painting the trunk of a 97 Lexus. 1st- $ was great much less than another estimate we got! 2nd- Didn't try to sell us on services we didn't need! 3rd- Customer service was great!! Wasn't sure how we were gonna pick up the car when it was done, John asked where we lived, (which is very close to the shop) and John offered to drop the car off at the house when it was done and I took him back to the shop. I had my VW Golf hood replaced and needed it painted. I stopped in the Sharp office at around 8am on a Wed. They told me it would take a day and a half and the paint might not match exactly (not surprising) but they could take the car right then. I agreed and they drove me a mile to Enterprise for a rental. At 8:30am the next day they called--the car was finished. It is beautiful. Perfect match. Plus, they polished the rest of the car. Fantasy works! They will do every thing that you can think and probably include something that you didn't think about for your car. Very friendly customer services + super efficiency. They will also take care of the negotiation with the insurance company for you if needed. In addition they will wash and vacuum your car after their job done. I have never written a review before, but John at Sharp did such an amazing job on my 2005 black Corolla that I need to complement him and his staff. My car had an orange oxidized roof that had a velvet sort of look. Both hoods were down to the silver metal. We never abused our car. I just do not know why the paint fell off of it. John said it was the worse he had ever seen and that it was probably painted by the dealer after being damaged during transport. I left my car on Tues. evening and by Frinday is was ready, right on time as promised. WOW!!! I cannot tell you how beautiful it looks, from bumper to bumper! The price was reasonable when compared to other shops, and I really wish I had done this years ago!
