Before I say anything else about this place let me just discuss this: The first thing that I noticed about Berlyn 65 is that the shop smells exquisite! The owner made sure that there is this wonderful aroma as you walk into the place that tantalizes your senses and it made me very content and experience a sense of calm energy. This shop has some real goodies! My eyes were focused on the soft, elegant chair throws! This was so very true that I had to take a picture of the luxurious gray chair throw that is on a chair near the store entrance. The throw comes in a variety of colors and they were valued at $150. The shop decor is delightful which goes with the owner's peaceful energy that I felt was exuded towards me and my coworkers as we looked around Berlyn 65. I texted my wife a few photos, and we picked out 3 cups which I purchased and brought back to Boston. Fast forward to the Holidays, and I inadvertently banged one of the wrapped cups in my home. And when my wife opened her 3 cups, the one I banged was split in two. Entirely my fault. I do not have any reason to think that LummaHome had anything to do with the damage. I wrote to the company, reported what had happened, sent a photo of the broken cup, made clear that it was my fault, and asked how much to replace. The sole question I got back was "What's your address?" And within a couple of weeks, I had a new cup. I even got a followup email to make sure that it had arrived. So, what we have is LuumaHome displaying beautiful wares and providing exceptional service. This is an easy 5 stars. I'm an extremely satisfied customer.

Aelfie emailed the next day to apologize and tell me the Aziza was sold out in the 3x5 size. She showed me several other styles in that size and said I could choose one of those or size up to 4x6. Since I had my heart set on the Aziza, I told her I would size up and asked what the additional cost would be. She said there would be zero additional cost because the fault was hers for not keeping better track of inventory. Thus I received a gorgeous 4x6 rug for the price of a 3x5 rug. What a generous gesture! The rug arrived today and its vivid indigo-blue and creamy white stripes are even more beautiful in person. I look forward to purchasing more rugs from Aelfie, who is not only an enormously talented artist, but an ethical and admirable entrepreneur.

Under the guise of another craigstlist score like the $5000 credenza he'd scored off a guy on the upper east side just last week for $500. (I mean who says no to a craigslist run with the guy who scores a $5000 credenza at that kind of mark down?) They were two breeders with a keen eye for fashion and a strong nesting urge, and I just love nesting too so I was along for the ride.
