Gorgeous little store in little Italy. Filled with such lovely and inspirational objects to decorate your home or give out as gifts. The items are all curated exquisitely. And some are whimsical but wonderful! Like the $1000 sheep. Or the soft flat teddy bears! So cute! The pictures and art work is gorgeous. Also the $200 each beautiful pink and luster velvet pillows. I wanted all of them! Engraved wooden mirrors, delicate dishes, books... this place is a desperate housewives play store. But I thought how lovely it would be to buy a gift for a girl friend from this spot.. anything you choose would probably be cherished. Definitely check it out

This was an accidental find. Was stopped dead on the Broome Street sidewalk by the pictures from the Bande à Part exhibit that I could see through the storefront. Walked in, curious, and spent an enjoyable half-hour looking at unexpectedly fabulous pictures of the New York Underground scene. Gallery owner graciously allowed me to take pictures of the space, too, which is uncommon, in my experience. If every show they put on is as content-rich as this one was, this place might justify a visit to SoHo every time I'm in Manhattan. I plan on going back just to check, next time.

Fun destination to view current exhibits, or the hundreds of art books left out for the perusal of customers.

It's a nice gallery. I wasn't super in love with any of the art there but they did have the exact art book I've been wanting, in both sizes.

Christiane Celle, formerly of Calypso, has flawless taste. And I am happy to see she is again curating more than photography!

My profile account at Studio Manhattan indicates they have been paid but shows my order is unfulfilled. Their website appears to be up and running so buyer beware. Phone number in this Yelp page isn't working, their web page is void of a phone number, and an email to their customer support bounced back. I will take this review down if I (somehow) get a positive response. Next stop will be BBB and Google reviews.

Check us out!" You may categorize it all as modern design, playful, and some things as kitsch - definitely all joyful and some just fun! Coming Soon finds itself on the blocks of Canal along with other recent trendy additions to Canal between Seward Park and the Allen Street park promenade, encouraged by the opening of the exclusive Nine Orchard Hotel, with its Corner Bar and Swan Room, in the renovated historic landmark Jarmulowsky Building across the street. While I'm not in the market for their ware for my own home, there are things I might consider at Coming Soon as gifts in the future - whether for the design or for the fun value!

I was more focused on their glassware, the store isn't that big but they had the most fun glassware, think pickles and olives and lemons. I was worried I was like a bull in a china shop as their items are quite expensive and wouldn't want to break anything. I don't remember interacting with the staff but there are some negative reviews on here -- I mean it's a hipster bougie spot, but I didn't feel unwelcome for not buying anything.
