Classic Black Milk Tea
Albert T.

Seattle-Area Boba Shop Review #62 Sharetea is one of those franchises that can really vary in quality between locations. I'm usually hesitant to visit because I find a lot of them to be below average, but decided to give this one a try anyways. Classic Black Milk Tea, 50% Sugar, Less Ice w/ Boba ($5.80) - As with most Sharetea locations, the milk tea here is exceptionally rich with powdered creamer. It's almost a little too much, with a creamer taste that almost completely overwhelms the tea, not to mention the drink leaving a film on the tongue with each sip. Still, it's smooth rather than being gritty, a sign of everything being well incorporated. Sharetea is quite generous with the toppings, giving a lot of pretty decent boba. They are very consistent in size and shape and have a good chew that bounces back quite readily. It's among the best textures for boba I've found in a US based Sharetea. Milk Tea Rating: 3/5 Boba Rating: 4/5 I found this Sharetea to be one of the better locations I've been to. There are other boba shops in the area that I'd choose over Sharetea, but it's certainly not a bad visit. Bathrooms - IIRC one unisex room

Classic Milk tea w/ pearl and oat milk

Cute tea spot. I enjoy this location because it's not usually too busy, and they have fun games you can hang out and play while you enjoy your tea. They have a large variety of drinks to choose from, and you can get half cups as well. They also have alternative milk options. Recommend if you like bubble tea. There's something for everyone. My faves are classic and Taro!

The environment is pretty comfortable, there are some table game there and the couch feels like home. Just the tea is a little too sweet even with 80% sugar.

Thai Tea Iced Blended (with ice cream instead of tapioca pearls) and Kiwi Fruit Tea (with tapioca pearls instead of aiyu jelly)
Smaly K.

Sharetea never disappoints. We got the Kiwi Fruit Tea and the Thai Tea Ice Blended, our usual, and it was tasty, as always. I got my Kiwi Fruit Tea with the tapioca pearls instead of the aiyu jelly. And I love how Sharetea is never stingy with their toppings. Service was quick and very friendly.

False advertising, store wouldn't honor the promo and said it was over even though it was still up.

Went into the store midday due to a promotion sign on the street in front saying coffee milk tea was $3.50. The employees said the promo was over but they hadn't removed the sign yet. They would not honor it and said there was no workaround or manual way to do so. Very disappointing and false advertising!

The drinks were so delicious! I ordered online and the drinks were ready before I got there.

This is one of my favorite Share Tea locations! All the employees are always super quick with making the drinks and always follow instructions perfectly. The location is extremely busy pretty much all the time, so I would definitely recommend ordering in advance online. They have a clover online ordering system which will save you some fees from the other online sites. The pick up area during COVID is in the back right of the room. You'll want to stand next to the table blocking the rest of the room and wait for an employee to notice you. They'll hand you your order.

Social distancing wait line

COVID-19: social distancing marked line, cashier barrier, staff wears gloves and mask. Limited seating due to COVID. Shared parking lot in a small plaza facing streetside. Atmosphere: fast paced and small cafe setting. Service: quick service. order and pay at the register, wait for your order number to be called. The drinks do not come with any toppings--toppings are extra. I love how you can customize ice and sugar levels here. I always feel that at any place 100% sugar is too much--you can never go wrong with 50% sugar! No extra costs to adjust these. Mango Green Tea: made with really blended mango--you can see the bits floating about! Tea flavor is light and is overpowered by the sweetness of the mango. I'm pretty sure champagne mangos are used in this--I do wish it was slightly more tart. I go 50% sugar and it was still pretty sweet. Boba: slightly smaller than your average boba pearls but is still satisfyingly chewy and lightly sweetened.

Mango Green Milk Tea and Hokkaido Milk Tea

Hear me out when I say that most Sharetea locations are usually just okay or meh BUT this location in Lynnwood never misses. This is one of my go to spots locally because they are consistent with their drinks. My personal favorite is the Mango Green Milk Tea light ice 50% sugar. I'm pretty much a regular here.

Lesly W.

This Lynnwood location has definitely improved since a year ago. It's my favorite spot for bubble tea in the area. Drinks are consistent and they are efficient even when it gets busy. The owner always works hard and welcomes the customers when he's around. I came today on a snowy day when most businesses were closed and it was still open. I enjoy the hot drinks on colder days (but fyi, the cup is slightly smaller in size for the hot version)

Is the boba warm and chewy at all? I need my boba warm

They do offer a hot boba! Mine was cold and wonderful but I am sure their hot varieties are equally tasty! And the boba was nice and chewy, not mushy.

I had ordered two cakes online and only needed to pick up. The peculiar thing is neither the provided phone number nor the email received confirmation of the purchase. I should have saved a screenshot, but for once, I trusted the system but the system failed. Anyway, I was hoping for the best when I entered, since we did have a credit card charge notification. Anyway, two staff members are at the front, though only one was working the register ringing up pastries and taking orders for drinks, etc. After standing in line for a second, I decided to be bold, left the line, and approached the other staff member saying I am picking up a cake order. She asked for order number. Yikes, I do not have that. After some back and forward and I asked if she can look up by my name, she said no. When I repeated two cakes and told her what they were, she said, "Did you say two cakes?" I almost wanted to laugh, since I have said it about ten times by then. My order must have been the only one with two cakes because she suddenly found it and even asked me to verify my name. Magical, they do have my name after all. I decided not to ding the rating since their search is locked to order number. I suspect she scrolled through screens to find the order. Although picking up the cakes were borderline sweat-inducing, both cakes turned out to be winners for the party of eleven people. Statistically, nine out of eleven are classic Americans who have never had Taiwanese cakes or lower sweetness cakes. I was pleased these cakes proved to be a hit for those unfamiliar with this baseline. Everyone sampled a small portion of both cakes, and we had about a combined 2/3 cakes left. I estimate an 8" cake is 8 servings. These cakes are relatively lower cost than many other Asian and non-Asian bakeries in the area. 8" Red Velvet, $38 Menu: Traditional red velvet cake layered with vanilla cream cheese 8" Deluxe Chocolate Mousse, $40 Menu: Chocolate chiffon cake layered with chocolate mousse and dusted with sweet snow sugar and cocoa powder Side note: These cakes are top decorated, meaning if you want "Happy Birthday", it is a separate piece to add to the cake.

The interior has a warm and cozy vibe; I also dig the lighting. There's a good amount and variety of seating. They don't have outlets on the floor at the benches in the center, but there are a few outlets on the walls, so if you need to charge your devices I recommend sitting at the chairs next to the treasure chest (where I'm writing this review lol). I also saw dog treats at the cashier that dog owners are free to take. I guess if you wanted to eat them you could, but I would judge you. They have pretty typical Korean bakery fare and pricing seems to be just a bit higher than competitors, probably somewhere around a 10% premium compared to similar family owned bakeries. On my visit I got two pastries to try: Soboro Cream ($3.49) - Instead of a delicately crackly cookie crust, this bun has a much softer, almost moist topping, which may be due to them placing the bread in the packaging before being fully cooled off, allowing the bun to steam too much. There's a bunch of sweetened stabilized cream inside that's sweet and oily. The bread itself is kind of dry and crumbly, either not a typical milk bread recipe or perhaps it had been sitting on the shelf for too long. (2/5) Corn Mochi ($5.99) - This comes with six pieces. The corn mochi has a nice chewy tapioca flour base. There's black sesame sprinkled throughout giving a burst of nutty flavor. I expected to see whole corn kernels baked inside but I think they just use corn flour in the dough. It's way less sweet than the soboro. Texturewise, the inside is bouncy while the outside has a harder baked crust. (4/5) Overall Le Bon Patisserie is a pretty average Asian grocery store-paired bakery. It's more of a place to buy bread for convenience rather than anything special, but it does the job decently well.

The lady behind the counter assured me they are the same. Spoiler alert: they are not, but they are equally awful. For those of you who knows REAL Japanese milk bread, it is like magic. I f***in' love milk bread... and while I don't use drugs, I imagine the euphoria I feel when I bite into milk bread is similar to a drug high. La Bon's milk bread is literally the worst white bread I have EVER tasted. It's worst than any grocery store brand and tastes like paper mache, wait, no.... I ate paper mache as a kid and this is far far worse. The pure and utter sadness I feel every time I put a piece of that shitty white cardboard into my mouth is worthy of a country western song. Their pastries are baked fresh onsite, but I've made the mistake of showing up midday and towards closing and their pastry case would be slim pickings.
