I was a little disappointed with this visit. I've been to Sharetea before and things have always been great but this was my first time at this location. I got my usual the peach kiwi tea with boba without sweetener and I saw they now offered earl gray tea so I also got an earl gray unsweetened. Now I'm well aware boba is stored in syrup which will give some sweetness to a drink and the peach kiwi flavoring will also add sweetness but for some reason my tea was unbearably sweet. Having ordered this drink before it was far from what I'd had in the past. The earl gray tasted like the tea was slightly over steeped which is easily noticeable when there is no sweetener to mask it. I was still able to drink my earl gray but the peach kiwi was far too sweet to drink. The worker who rung me up was very nice and is the only reason I didn't score them lower. read more

This is a great place to get your fruit tea, milk tea, ice blend, fresh milk, brewed tea, or just a general drink fix. They have plenty of variety even within the each category. The drinks here hit the spot and I highly recommend them. Whether it's pre-COVID or during COVID, this store usually has quite a few people lined up. During COVID, there was only a couple of people waiting for their drinks when I arrived. Then, I noticed a line start to form after I ordered and was waiting for the drinks. The line does move pretty quickly though. COVID measures: The store has a well organized social distancing process set up. They ensure that no customers are standing too close to one another and even have a number system going on (eg guest #1 has a spot to wait at while guest #2 stands at the guest #2 spot, and so on down the line). *The only awkward thing was that because they don't allow customers to touch their iPad during COVID, they ask you how much tip you'll give and then they press it for you. I haven't really seen this occur at other places where they verbally ask you how much tip you'll give. Parking: this shop located in a shopping center with plenty of parking. However this lot can get a bit full at times during the day due to all the other shops in the plaza that share this lot. read more

However one niggle I have is that I really wish they offered online ordering for pickup like so many other boba places in the area do...having to wait in line to order in person and then waiting for the drink often means I often end up going elsewhere for convenience. Sharetea has become our Sunday Spot. The teas are delicious and the service is great. I love that there are plenty of non-caffeine options that are not just juice or slushes. I cannot drink caffeine, but I love tea! The wintermelon tea really hits the spot. I love that you can pick the sugar level as well. I opt for no added sugar because I feel it is sweet enough with the boba and lychee jelly that I add to my drink. The ingredients are top quality, and the tea is very flavorful. They are not skimpy on the add ons. Plenty of boba and lychee jelly each time I order my drink. I love LOTS of ice in my drink. I always ask for extra, but sometimes I am given very little ice. I would say that's the only flaw, which is minor, I always add more ice at home if need be. We tend to come around opening time, because the later you come, be prepared to wait in a long line. In my search to find this magical color changing Taiwanese tea named: "Butterfly Pea Tea" I came across Sharetea... in my own backyard. It took me about 15 minutes between the time I found it on Yelp to driving there as I was super pumped. I wanted to know if this tea tasted like it looked (spoiler alert: it sure did!) There is no way to spot Sharetea from the streets, so you'll have to go deep into the shopping center where Pieology and Thai Basil are (on the corner of Chapman and State College). Tucked in the back you will find ShareTea amongst a bunch of other little miscellaneous shops. We got there around 8pm and the line was kind of long, from what I hear and saw... this is the norm. Make sure you give yourself enough time to come, order and wait for your drinks. There is a small sign on the counter that says: "Stardust in a bottle." Now this is exactly what I came for: Pineapple Butterfly Pea Tea with Aiyu Jelly. From that whole thing all I knew was there was pineapple in and and I had no clue what those other things were. This drink must be pretty new, even for this location as the girls who were making the drinks were not quite sure how to make them. They had to use a cheat sheet, but it's all good, as they made a great tasting drink. So the butterfly pea tea has an interesting flavor to it. A little sweet, but not over the top sweet. Pineapple, well that tasted like pineapple. Aiyu Jelly was pretty interesting as well. I for sure thought it was some type of fruit I have had before, but while googling it I found out that it is made of jelly for fig seeds. How they make... I have no clue, but it is good and nice alternative to getting boba. Overall I was both very happy and excited for my drink. It sure did not disappoint, plus it looked stardusty? Definitely my favorite boba spot in Fullerton! I first had Sharetea when I was vacationing in the Philippines back in 2012. I used to drive out to Cerritos just to have Sharetea. I was so excited when I found out they were opening one near CSUF! This place has legit Taiwanese tea and boba. They're also pretty consistent with their drinks. I love how the drinks are made with real tea and the texture and chewiness of the boba is on point! Try the mini boba if you haven't already, you won't regret it. :) Prices range from $3.50 to $4.75, which isn't too bad. And there's only one size available (unless you get a hot drink). Unlike some other boba spots, Sharetea allows you to customize your drink. You can control the level of sweetness. There are 5 levels: normal (100%), less sweet (80%), half sweet (50%), slightly sweet (30%), or sugar free (0%). You can also control the ice level: regular ice, less ice or no ice. They offer hot drinks as well! *I personally say less ice because when they mix your drink, they already shake it with ice so it's already cold. And since I take forever to finish my drink, whenever I get regular ice it waters down my tea. I had the QQ Happy Family Milk Tea (the name intrigued me) and found the fairly large serving of smoooth milk tea to be a winner. The milk tea was nice and sweet but not too much. I'm a sucker for that natural bitter tea taste so I was pleasantly surprised that I could catch the notes of it in the tea. My friend got the matcha which to me was a bit sweeter than mine. I don't know if it was to compensate for matcha flavor, but it was good nonetheless. We were in the area and needed an afternoon pick me up so we stopped here. I've tried the other location in FV and this one is just as good. They are located in a small plaza with Smart and Final right near the CSUF campus. Yes it does get jam packed with students needing their caffeine boost. When we got there in the late afternoon, the line was starting to form. There are a few a tables to sit and enjoy your drink. The staff is very friendly even when it's super busy. Sharetea has many tea options and toppings. You can customize the sweetness level and the amount of ice to your liking. The drinks only come in one size. I've tried many variations and my fave is the Classic Pearl Milk Tea with egg pudding (less sweet). It's a classic for a reason. Just simple milk tea and yet so refreshing! My family and I have tried many Boba places and NOTHING is better than this location. Please be kind these kids work their tales off!! It's a very busy spot, lines can be long depending on the time of day (it's next to college row - a few schools surrounding) but it goes by quickly unless you have a few newbies that take their time to order. The boba tasted soft, chewy and just right. I love the consistency at all their locations, and I can definitely see this place poppin' in the near future. 85° Bakery & Cafe got some competition! SERVICE Workers are all very nice. The ladies working were approachable and greeted you when you entered. Getting our drinks is a different story because it was slow. Ok I just want to start this off by saying that Sharetea has been one of the realest and most consistent boba place I have been too. Every time a new boba shop lures me with aesthetics and I'm led astray from Sharetea, I always come back. Through all the overpriced drinks and tears shed for underwhelming boba, Sharetea has been there with a rebound boba every time. So, sit down and let me tell you why I love Sharetea I only pay literally $4.25 every time, like I can throw a dart into the menu to guess a drink and it would probably still come out to $4.25. On top of that, I never even say a size and they always give me a large cup. It's like the workers just know I'm having a bad day and that I'm broke. Also their boba is always soft and chewy like they just made it 2 seconds ago. I get the QQ milk tea and it's so refreshing and yummy. I've had their other drinks, but QQ is my all time fave. It's not the most aesthetic place like the other boba spots around, but I'd rather be here than paying $6 for a bad boba at another place. Sharetea has really become one of my go to boba places in Fullerton. Every drink I have gotten here has been solid. You also can't beat the Check In Yelp deal where you get a free topping. As an avid boba fan, I take full advantage of that. LOCATION // It's located in a plaza right by CSUF near other food places. Some favorites are Thai Basil and Chipotle. Parking here can get a little hectic during lunch and dinner times so be aware. DRINKS // I have never been disappointed! Their drinks are customizable in sugar level and ice level. The drinks are not overly sweet to begin with but I tend to go one level down anyway. I have tried their Classic Black Tea, their Classic Milk Black Tea, their Orange Crema, their Earl Grey Crema, and their Wintermelon Tea. The Classic Milk Black Tea and their Wintermelon Tea are my favorites. I have tried their normal boba and their mini boba and they are always soft, slightly chewy, and the perfect addition to my drinks. They offer a bunch of other topics as well. WAIT // The wait for your drinks is never too bad. However, there is almost always a line going out the door for this place! Just know that if you plan on coming during lunch or dinner time. There also might not be a place to sit during your wait for your drinks as it is always crowded. AMBIANCE // I could see myself studying here. I am someone who likes background noise and music when I study but if you are someone who needs absolute silence, this is not the place. Consistently good service and great drinks! There is literally always a line here whenever I come but it moves very quickly. Their COVID precautions are on point, as they limit the number of people entering the store, enforce social distancing, and the staff is masked and behind a plastic divider. They are always super generous with the amount of toppings they put in your drink. It's nice to be able to adjust your ice and sweetness levels. One of the things I especially like about Sharetea is that they typically have specials -- currently, they're having buy 1 get 1 50% off their Wintermelon drinks -- as well as new drinks, as advertised by posters in the front! Lastly, don't forget to ask for a stamp card! (1 free drink for every 10 drinks you purchase). Convenient boba place near CSUF inside the dollar tree plaza. The workers are always friendly and greet you as soon as you walk in the door. They also are patient and take their time to explain recommendations if you don't know what to order. Honestly I'd give this place 3.5 stars, but I rounded to 4 because of their service! There isn't much seating inside so it's mostly an order and go type of place. I usually get the wintermelon green tea here with boba, 0% sweetness, half ice. It's interesting they have just one size. Their boba is just regular boba, but they do a good job since it doesn't get clumpy. I tried a sip of the taro milk tea and it was too sweet for my liking. I have never received good customer service as Sharetea in this location or other milk tea/boba places. MJ, a kind barista, helped me with my order when I was not satisfied with my order. The Hawaii Fruit Tea was too sweet for me so he remade my drink with 0% sweetness after adding more green tea to dilute the drink. Since the Hawaii Fruit Tea was still too sweet for me, I got the coffee milk tea since there would be milk (less sweet). I was very impressed with MJ's professionalism and kindness during the whole process. I am proud to say this one of my favorite boba locations. read more

I remember first hearing about Sharetea and thought, oh it's just another boba establishment. After getting hyped up by a boba fanatic that they have the good good, I decided to go. Man Sharetea, where have you've been all my life?! I can't even recall which drinks I've gotten but they're all solid. My favorite milk tea is the Oolong since it was my first drink ever so it has special sentiment to me. The starred drinks are their most popular drinks. I've been trying to cut back on sugar so I love that they give the option for different sweetness levels. They do it for ice as well so you have a lot of freedom in customizing your drink. This visit I ordered the Hawaiian Fruit Tea and I was pleased with trying something new. It's a nice blend of pineapple, passion fruit, and orange. It's even better with some aloe vera, lychee jelly, or pudding. I requested 50% sweetness and it still tasted pretty sweet in my opinion. I guess that's when you know you're slowly becoming an adult, not wanting everything to taste like an explosion of sugar.
