Hate to see Mr. Shannon go! This was one of the best auto cleaning places in the heights.

Came here after my car flooded a tiny bit. Even though it was still working, my carpets were soaked and started to smell. My insurance agent said I just needed to replace the carpet so I gave Mr. Shannon a call and he said he could just shampoo the carpet and replace the padding. I was kind of iffy about doing this but when I picked up my car, it was almost as if I had brad new carpet. It didn't smell anymore and was clean as a whistle. read more

I have been searching for a car detailing business since Zeke's at 14th and Yale St changed ownership and I have finally found an awesome replacement. Mr. Shannon had King (Black Ford Fusion) spotless!! I had a scuff mark on the driver side that Mr. Shannon removed! I also had water damaged in the backseat due to leaving my windows open overnight while it rained. My King looked brand new, better than when I got it two years ago from Texas Direct Auto. I stumbled upon Shannon's when searching Groupon for a deal on car detailing, and am so glad that I did. I called before purchasing the Groupon to clarify a few details, and found Malcolm to be incredibly nice and helpful. He was able to get me in the same day for a detailing, which was a huge bonus. Malcolm called when he was ready for me to come bring the car by, and then drove me back home so that I wouldn't have to wait while the car was being detailed. The car's interior was incredibly dirty, with tons of stubborn, hard to remove dog hair. When I picked up the car I was very impressed with their services. The interior looked like my car was practically brand new. The pricing here was incredibly reasonable (I ended up not even getting the Groupon), and Malcolm was so friendly. I left a frozen, whole chicken in my car trunk for two weeks while we were out of town. When I returned and opened my car, it was so bad that I thought the car would be totaled. We found Shannon's and read the wonderful reviews, crossed our fingers, and called. They picked up the car when they said they would, were super nice even though they had to drive it smelling like it did, and had it cleaned in time for us to leave town 48 hours later. They returned it smelling great. They were cheerful and caring. And they charged us FAR less than we ever dreamed they would (I would have given them a kidney; I was shocked at the reasonable price). I have been calling for 4 days trying to schedule an appointment for detailing, with no luck. I bought a Groupon for this place to use it before this weekend when I needed the car done - but haven't been able to get ahold of anyone here. They say you have to schedule an appointment first so I don't want to waste a whole trip going over there just for them to turn me away. Shannon did a fabulous job on my 2000 Ford Explorer. I had never gotten my vehicle detailed and it was in pretty rough shape. He was able to get nearly all the stains out of the carpet and cleaned the full interior as well as washed the exterior. My car has never looked better! I am so glad I read the yelp reviews and found this hidden gem( literally it is a bit hidden behind a Wendy's off of Shepherd/610. From the looks of all the luxury cars that were there, they seem to have a loyal customer base of folks who care about the details. This is definitely my new go to place for car detailing! Malcolm Shannon saved the day for me this past Saturday when a stressed out dog pooped and urinated all over the back seat of my brand new Subaru (first new car in decades!). Not only that but the dog then rubbed his mess into the light colored upholstery. (I know, I know...I should have had a cover on the seat. Lesson learned.) Such an unholy mess I thought it was ruined. Shannon's cleaned it so well (and deodorized somehow) that you can't tell there was any problem at all. Like new! My friends put their noses down to the seat and inhaled deeply and said all they could smell was "new car." Mr. Shannon was friendly, funny and very accommodating. The price was quite reasonable. Everyone there is very courteous and helpful. A bonus is that place is right in my neighborhood and I never knew they existed. Thanks so much! read more
